Fox News’ Tucker Carlson has been on fire this week, exposing leftists at every turn — and Friday’s show was no exception.
In the wake of the 2020 election, leftist “cancel culture” has ramped up efforts to destroy conservative voices, including Fox News and Carlson himself. Carlson explained why Democrats are working so hard to shut down Fox News during his Friday monologue.
Carlson laid out a pattern of big-tech collusion with the mainstream media and Democrat politicians, ultimately pointing out that Fox News is one of the biggest hurdles leftists face in their quest to completely control the flow of public information.
“Fox News is the most significant hurdle to getting everyone to sing from the same song sheet,” Carlson explained. “Fox is the last big organization in the American news media that differs in even the smallest ways from the other big news organizations. At this point, everyone else in the media is standing in crisp formation, in their starched matching uniforms and their little caps, patiently awaiting orders from the billionaire class. And then there’s Fox News off by itself, occasionally saying things that are slightly different from everyone else.”
It’s relevant to note that Republicans aren’t too happy with Fox News either — and for good reason, as the network at times appears to be more sympathetic to Democrats than their own base. However, Carlson’s point that “on Fox, there are still journalists who are willing to think for themselves, and brave enough to say so out loud” is an important one.
Carlson pointed out a pattern of leftist elites using their influence to advocate for “forcible censorship” and a complete shutdown of dissenting voices, and Fox News is their number one target.
