The White House defended protesters who harassed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Friday at a Morton’s Steakhouse in Washington, DC.
“Peaceful protests, people should be allowed to do that … if it’s outside a restaurant. If it’s peaceful, for sure,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Friday during the daily briefing.
The leftist protest group ShutDownDC stationed themselves outside Morton’s Steakhouse in Washington, DC on Wednesday night, loudly protesting their decision to serve Kavanaugh.
Morton’s said Kavanaugh and their other patrons were “unduly harassed by unruly protesters” in a statement condemning the actions.
“Politics, regardless of your side or views, should not trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner,” the restaurant said. “There is a time and place for everything. Disturbing the dinner of all of our customers was an act of selfishness and void of decency.”
Jean-Pierre repeated that President Joe Biden continued to condemn violent protests and “intimidation” of Supreme Court justices.
But she also indicated that the White House did not mind protesters interrupting a justice’s dinner, provided the protest was peaceful.
“We want to see the protests be peaceful,” she said.
Jean-Pierre said the right to protest Kavanaugh was part of the democratic process.
“This is what a democracy is. People have the right,” she said. “Of course people have a right to privacy, but people also have a right to protest peacefully.”

Houston Man Charged For Making Terroristic Threat Against Senator Ted Cruz in Cryptic Phone Call is Now at Large After Being Released on Bond

A Houston man who was charged for making a terrorist threat against GOP Senator Ted Cruz in a cryptic phone call is still at large.
22-year-old Isaac A. Nformangum of Richmond, Texas called Ted Cruz’s office on June 26 and left a threatening voicemail.
Nformangum was angry about Cruz’s plans to ‘repeal’ the voting rights act (more lies from the media) and said every single Republican who supported his plan deserves to be found and killed.
“Every last one of your republican colleagues to have signed off on that platform is to be found, and is to be found and killed, be it by a bullet to the face or by the smashing of a brick in your skull,” he said in a voicemail.
According to Fox 26, Nformangum was arrested on July 3 then released on a PR bond and disappeared.
Nformangum didn’t show up for his court date on Friday and is now wanted as a fugitive.

According to court documents by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Isaac A. Nformangum, 22, of Richmond, Texas made a call to Senator Cruz’s office on June 26. In the call, Nformangum made cryptic remarks to the senator about his intent to have the voting rights act repealed.
Charging documents transcribed the entirety of his message, where the 22-year-old addresses the senator by his legal name, Rafael Eduardo Cruz:
“Hello and good afternoon Senator Rafael. This is one of the many Afro-American constituents of whom you are representative of here in Texas, as you currently serve from the Senate. I have just read the, uh, Texas Republican parties platform for this current 2022 year, uh, wherein it is apparent that your many colleagues intend, intend to have the voting right acts repealed and not reauthorized? Every last one of your republican colleagues to have signed off on that platform is to be found, and is to be found and killed, be it by a bullet to the face or by the smashing of a brick in your skull.
It is a civic duty of every American citizen or resident to see to it that every last one of your colleagues is to be killed. Killed. Be it by finding you in a public space or by trailing you to your very, by your very public homes. The addresses of which are public knowledge. You and every one of your colleagues is to be shot dead. Found and killed. You sick pieces of human scum will not have the (explicit) audacity to aggressive any further and to strip us of our rights like you did our grandparents so many years ago. You’ll be found and killed. As a civic do you have every American to do so (explicit). (explicit) Rafael. You piece of human scum.”
