Leftist goons descended like a pack of rabid wolves on pardoned January 6 defendant Jon Mellis outside the Tesla Diner, yanking his Proud Boys shirt until it tore clean off his body and torching his MAGA hat in a ritual of pure communist hatred.
Mellis, the 38-year-old Virginian who spent four years rotting in federal hellholes for the crime of patriotism, was merely picking up a burger order when the anarchist horde struck — proof positive that the Biden-era street terrorists still roam free, untouchable, while real Americans bleed.
The assault erupted during yet another “No Kings” tantrum — a thinly veiled anti-Trump riot — near the diner where Mellis had paused after a day of truth-telling speeches.
He kept his camera rolling, refusing to cower.
In an exclusive interview with The Gateway Pundit on Sunday, Mellis laid bare the chaos with the steel-eyed resolve of a man who has faced down both prison bars and leftist fists.
“I was assaulted many times by many different people. It was pretty crazy, because as I had my camera on, looking at my face like taking a selfie video, I decided to not engage with the protesters, and to just continue talking to my audience, because I’ve been making content to post on social media.
“So, I just talked to the camera and kept a positive demeanor. And that’s all I did, and it didn’t stop them from repeatedly insulting me and screaming crazy things at me,” he said, describing his crucifixion on a public sidewalk.
A black MAGA hat and Proud Boys logo — that’s all it took to unleash the mob.
Mellis, walking peacefully on taxpayer-funded pavement, became their prey.
“Just for walking, just for standing near them — they became enraged like a pack of hyenas and started assaulting me. Walking down public sidewalk with some Maga hat on triggered them,” he said. “They ripped the Maga hat off, burned it. They assaulted me, shoved me, grabbed my shirt, ripped me around, ripped my shirt completely off. Pretty crazy, man. Cops came—a lot of cops showed up.”

“I was working full time, and … ever since CPAC, I’ve been traveling nationwide, speaking to conservative groups all over the country,” he said.
Now bunkered in West Hollywood with his Playboy Cover Girl girlfriend, he’s unearthed a silent MAGA army in the belly of the beast: “Writers, producers, directors, musicians, models, playmates, everything you can think of is out here, and they’re all Maga, black, white, gay—they’re all Maga, and they are itching for the bubble to pop.”
The war isn’t won. Fourteen Proud Boys and Oath Keepers—wounded vets, Purple Heart heroes — got commutations, not pardons.
“They got let out of prison, which is amazing, and God bless Donald Trump for doing that. But they need full pardons,” Mellis said.
“Several of those guys are veterans who fought for this country and were injured, even an injured Purple Heart recipient. Without the pardon, they still have the felony on their records so they don’t receive their veteran benefits. That is a travesty of justice on its own.”r

I’m gonna spread the word of what happened to us and the dangers of communism, because that’s what it really is, authoritarianism. They locked me up and they put me on solitary confinement, denied me visitation for years, treating me like a terrorist.”
