Maxine Waters is now playing the role of Obama’s bodyguard — saying that if Trump ever tries to hold Barack Obama accountable, he’ll have to go through her first.
A sitting member of Congress is basically threatening to stand in the way of justice, not because she has the facts on her side, but because she’s loyal to the most corrupt administration in American history.
Let’s be crystal clear: Obama is not above the law.
And neither is Maxine.
This is the same woman who openly encouraged mobs to confront Trump officials in public — to get in their faces at gas stations, restaurants, and grocery stores. The same woman who’s been screaming about Trump for years, while her own district falls apart.
Now she wants to pretend she’s the last line of defense for Obama?
Fine. If she wants to stand between the truth and the people who are demanding it — arrest her too.
Because here’s the reality:
Obama’s administration spied on political opponents, used the FBI and intelligence agencies to interfere in elections, and pushed the phony Russia hoax to try and destroy Trump before he even took office.
They used FISA warrants based on opposition research funded by Hillary Clinton. They lied to the American people. And they got away with it for far too long.
Maxine Waters knows this. The Democrats know it. The media knows it. But they think if they scream loud enough, or threaten people, or play the race card — the truth will go away.
Not this time.
Justice is coming.
And if Maxine wants to throw herself in front of it, then she’s choosing sides — not with the people, but with the swamp.
The American people are wide awake. We’ve seen the double standards. We’ve seen the cover-ups. We’ve seen the two-tiered system where Democrats walk free and conservatives get hunted.
We’re not backing down.
Obama isn’t untouchable.
Maxine isn’t untouchable.
No one is.
And when the time comes, if Maxine wants to go down protecting the lies — so be it.
