A good friend of mine apologized to me today. You see, he voted for Barack Hussein Obama in the 2008 election and he lives in a so-called “swing state.” He told me that he had not voted for Obama in the 2012 election, but that he realized that by supporting him in 2008, he had help unleash a deadly virus onto the American scene. He simply said he was sorry.

I think a good many Americans feel much the same as my good friend. They know that they were seduced by the very slick presentation that Barack Obama made in the 2008 campaign. They bought into the promises that he made about deficits and transparency and ethical government. They also know that there is a vast constituency of the Democratic Party that is entitlement bound. These welfare “victims” never thought through the implications of America’s fiscal crisis. They believed everything and anything that Barack Obama was slinging their way. And most of all, they loved hearing what Obama was going to give them.

So, my more aware friends who knew the true nature of the crisis were, nevertheless, seduced by the rhetoric and became the deciding swing vote in an election that did “fundamentally change America.” When 2012 came around, the welfare “victims” and the hard-core union and liberal base of the Democrats still hung onto the belief that Barack Hussein Obama was driving America in the right direction. And so, Obama was granted another four years to hammer America into something of his own liking.

Now, with 2 ½ years to go in Obama’s second Administration, I think most folks, including many in the solid core union and liberal base of the Democratic Party, are beginning to see the light. Many now suspect that Barack Hussein Obama is an empty suit. In Texas, people refer to someone who has no true experience or accomplishments as a person with “all hat and no cattle.”

But now our greater fears about Mr. Obama are confirmed. He has made his way through this world by lying and deceiving. There are no childhood friends recalling their growing up together. There are no college classmates reminiscing about dear old Occidental, Columbia, or Harvard. Obama is a manufactured fraud.

There is only the Chicago political machine and the Reverend Wrights of this world to partially fill in the many blanks where Obama was and what was he doing. Mr. Obama didn’t even write his famed Dreams from My Father. He simply has no documentable accomplishments to justify his political rise to power. Yet, the American people twice elected him to the highest office in our land. How did this happen?

Barack Hussein Obama has used his smooth public manner and a web of deception to gain a political foothold on the American landscape. But, as Lincoln said, “You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time. But you cannot fool all of the people all of the time”.

What do you call a person whose statements turn out to be false and it becomes known that he knew his statements were false at the time he made them. That, my friend, is the definition of a liar.

Liar is a word that rarely pops up in the media. It is considered too harsh and not appropriate for modern discourse. In a legal setting, a liar can be subject to imprisonment. In those instances, we call it perjury.

But the man occupying the White House is plainly and simply just a liar. From Fast and Furious to the IRS targeting of conservative groups to the shame of the Benghazi killings, what we have is a liar in the White House who has surrounded himself with many of his same ilk.

Putin, too, knows that Obama is not a man of his word. Rather, Putin recognizes a feckless President that can be bullied and manipulated to serve Putin’s ambition.

Once America fully comes to grip with the fact that Barack Hussein Obama and his henchmen (women) are liars, then maybe we can begin to unravel the mess of false promises and economic “snipe hunts” we have been fed.

Maybe we can regain our stature on the international scene.

I feel ashamed you somehow think illegals live in the shadows here, yet mention nothing about the illegals who showed up in broad daylight to protest outside the White House for rights they shouldn't even have here.

I feel ashamed you're perfectly fine granting 1.4 million illegals with licenses in your state, and cannot fathom how that's driving many legal Californians nuts in your state.

I feel ashamed that you would somehow imply it's racist to say stop, when it's more reckless to say nothing.

I feel ashamed that you would condone allowing illegals to cut in line, and prefer taxpayers shut up and just cut the check.

I feel ashamed that you would forget that, and forget us.

I feel ashamed that you would find us all so embarrassing, when it's our money, our schools, our towns, our municipalities, and our increasingly meager resources behind all the processing, all the providing and all the paying.

I feel ashamed that we apparently shame you.

The Democrat Impeachment Talk-A-Thon

RUSH: Up next is impeachment and the same thing is going to happen with this, except it already has. The Republicans haven't pulled any immigration articles because there aren't any. And the Republicans have announced that there won't be any. The Republicans have gone to every rooftop they can find, and, by the way, on every rooftop they haven't been able to find anybody in the media. And they've been shouting into the wind for everybody to hear: "We're not going to impeach the president! We are not going to impeach Obama, do you hear us?"

And yet, if you turn on the television, what you will see is Republicans want to impeach Obama. And if you listen to the president you'll hear him say (imitating Obama), "They keep suing me. You know what, they gotta stop the hatin'. Why won't they work with me instead of trying to impeach me?" The president wants to be impeached. He believes it's a political winner for him. The Democrats obviously do because they're the ones talking about it. The Democrats are talking about impeachment much, much more than the Republicans are. And you know who has established that to be true? None other than a quasi God to Democrats and leftists. That's our good old buddy, Nate Silver.

Nate Silver took his statistical analyst talents to ESPN. That's where his FiveThirtyEight blogis now. He has run the numbers and he has concluded that, on the whole, the Democrats are spending a lot more time talking about impeachment than Republicans are. "Consider, for example, the Sunlight Foundation’s Capitol Words database, which tracks words spoken in the House and Senate. So far in July, there have been 10 mentions of the term 'impeachment' in Congress and four others of the term 'impeach.' Eleven of the 14 mentions have been made by Democratic rather than Republican members of Congress, however."

On Cable news. "The scoreboard so far in July: Fox News has 95 mentions of impeachment, and MSNBC 448." MSNBC is the impeachment network. "That works out to about 2.7 mentions per hour of original programming on MSNBC, or once every 22 minutes. MSNBC hasn’t become quite as obsessed with impeachment as CNN was with Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, but it may be getting there. Impeachment mentions on MSNBC increased sixfold from May to July. Overall, since Jan. 1, MSNBC has mentioned impeachment 905 times to Fox News’s 213."

But that doesn't quite tell the whole tale because most of the 213 times on Fox have been denials. Most of the mentions on MSNBC are presented as they really want to; they are thinking about it; they might actually do it; they're really getting close to doing it; they really want to do it.

"Some of the impeachment discussion from Democratic politicians and liberal commentators has a kind of a Br’er Rabbit quality. 'Only please, Br’er Republicans, don’t impeach President Obama!'" As they beg him to quite do that. In case there's still any doubt as to who is driving this impeachment nonsense, it is the Democrats. And with that let's go to the audio sound bites. We will start with Nancy Pelosi on the House floor.

PELOSI: If you don't want to hear people that use the word impeachment, as your people have done, then tell them impeachment is off the table. That's what I had to do. That's what this Speaker should do.

RUSH: He already had. Boehner had already said impeachment is off the table. Every Republican in Congress said it's off the table, and yet Pelosi goes to the floor of the House and says, "That's what I had to do." Except she didn't. They did impeach Bush. I asked Snerdley yesterday, "You remember that, right?" And he didn't until his jogged memory actually got into gear. It's that distant a memory, but the Democrats did impeach George W. Bush. They never got to the trial. But they did impeach him. Boehner has already said impeachment's off the table, and it didn't work, did it? Look at all the mentions on PMSNBC and CNN and on the House floor by the Democrats. "We are not going to impeach Obama," is being drowned out by all the talk from the Democrats that the Republicans want to impeach Obama.

LEE: President Bush pushed this nation into a war. It had little to do with apprehending terrorists. We did not seek an impeachment of President Bush because as an executive he had his authority. President Obama has the authority.

RUSH: You know, this woman is an order of fries short of a Happy Meal. She co-sponsored the impeachment. She has forgotten that she co-sponsored Dennis Kucinich's articles of impeachment against George Bush. Here's Dennis Kucinich from June 10th, 2008, Washington, DC on the House floor.

KUCINICH: I rise to a question of the privileges of the House and offer the impeachment resolution noticed last evening.

CLERK: Resolved that President George W. Bush be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors and that the following articles of impeachment be sent to the United States Senate.

RUSH: They did it. They are denying they did it. Sheila Jackson Lee was a co-sponsor of Kucinich's articles of impeachment and just yesterday, grab sound bite number two again, I want you to hear it again. You just heard Kucinich make sure everybody knew that his articles of impeachment had been exhibited to the Senate. They were submitted, sent to the Senate. Sheila Jackson Lee co-sponsored those articles just six years ago.

RUSH: She obviously forgot, which is entirely possible. It could be a legitimate excuse with her. She could just have forgotten. Remember, she thinks there are flags placed by astronauts on Mars. Back to Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi, this is this morning on Capitol Hill at her weekly press briefing. A reporter said: "You mentioned in your opening remarks, madam, that the leadership," meaning the Republican leadership, "should take impeachment off the table, but aren't the Democrats guilty of the same base rallying politics that you're accusing Republicans of doing?"

REPORTER: You're raising money off of this talk when the speaker continues to say --

PELOSI: I want to tell you something. That money coming in is practically spontaneous. People are very upset. I'm sorry to interrupt you, but every stipulation you're making I don't agree to. The fact is why do you create a lawsuit? Because you want to find somebody culpable of something. So if that's not their point and it has not a path to impeachment, all they have to do to say to their people and to ours, because they've activated our base, all they have to do is say to their people, "It's off the table." I had to say that with a great deal of courage, I might add, about the war in Iraq.

RUSH: But she didn't! She was right there with Kucinich and his articles of impeachment. She didn't say "no" to it, and so it didn't take "a great deal of courage" for her to say no to impeaching Bush because she didn't. So now she accuses the Republicans of fundraising and once again demands to take it off the table, and they already had. That's how this works.

They had already taken it off the table. This is no different than Republicans want to starve kids, back in 1995. John Lewis -- a great, great lion of the civil rights movement -- also yesterday on the House floor, in Washington, got all fired up here. He's just ready to roll, and his point here was that the Republicans have never, ever supported this president.

LEWIS: House Republicans spend all of their time and energies fighting this president. Why? From his first day in office, the Republicans in the House, in this House, has (sic) never supported this president. Every olive branch he extended was broken! But today, Mr. Speaker, we have reached a low, a very low point. This resolution to sue the president just goes a little too far. It is a shaaaame and a disgrace that we are here debating the suing of the president. The American people deserve better. We can do better! We can do much better!

RUSH: Yeah, we can do better. This is the same guy said, "They're coming for our children!" They're coming for our whatever. Remember that? He was talking about the school lunch program. The Republicans were going to starve kids. We can do so much better, Congressman Lewis. Here is Debbie "Blabbermouth" Schultz, who still runs the Democrat Party, also yesterday on the House floor.

BLABBERMOUTH: It's unconscionable that when the do-nothing Republican Congress finally decided to do something (snickers), it's suing the president for doing his job when they refuse to do theirs! I wish I could say that this was politics at its worst, but I've heard too many in the Republican majority raise the specter of impeachment not to know better. I urge opposition to this time- and taxpayer-wasting resolution and urge Republicans in the majority to join Democrats and address the serious challenges facing our nation.

Illegal Immigration And Gangs: Someday Our Cities Will Burn Because We Didn’t Protect Our Borders

Did you know that the number of illegal immigrants that enter Texas each week is greater than the number of babies being born to citizens of that state? The mainstream media is shining the spotlight very brightly on all of the children that are coming over, and there is a reason for that. They are trying to tug on our heartstrings. But there is another part of the story that you aren't hearing much about. By refusing to protect our borders, Barack Obama has allowed hundreds of thousands of gang members to illegally enter the United States and settle in our major cities. In many communities, gang activity is already wildly out of control, and someday our cities will burn because of the foolishness of the federal government.

The Obama administration knows that one out of every five illegal immigrants has a criminal record. And we are not just talking about illegal immigrants taking "upskirt photos" of women like just happened in Texas. We are also talking about rapists, murderers, drug dealers and hardcore gang members.

According to Texas state Senator Dan Patrick, illegal immigrants have been formally charged with nearly half a million crimes in his state over the past four years alone. And he also says that there are "at least 100,000 illegal immigrant gang members" living in his state right now...

Hours before Texas Gov. Rick Perry announced he would send National Guard troops to the border, Texas state Senator Dan Patrick said there are at least 100,000 illegal immigrant gang members in the state.

On Monday's The Laura Ingraham Show, Patrick, who is also the Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, said from 2008 to 2012, 143,000 illegal immigrant criminals were arrested and jailed in Texas. He said these were "hardened criminals, gang members, and other criminals that we identified as being in Texas illegally."

"We charged them with 447,000 crimes, a half-million crimes in four years, just in Texas, including over 5,000 rapes and 2,000 murders," Patrick said. "We estimate we have 100,000 gang members here illegally."

Why won't Obama do anything to stop this madness?

There are at least 70,000 gang members living in Obama's home city of Chicago. Other estimates put that number closer to 100,000. But everyone agrees that it is a number that is growing every day.

So it shouldn't surprise any of us that at least 40 people were shot in Chicago over one recent July weekend.

I just fear for what Chicago will look like when things get really bad in this country. Many of our major cities are literally being transformed into tinderboxes that could erupt in flames at any time.

Overall, there are now approximately 1.4 million gang members living in the United States according to the FBI. But that number is actually a few years old now, so the true number is undoubtedly far higher at this point.

In addition, we know that illegal immigrants make up approximately 30 percent of the total population in our federal, state and local prisons.

And yet we refuse to stop more waves of illegal immigrants from coming in.

Are we willingly committing national suicide?

Just the other day, I noted that Honduras has the highest murder rate on the entire planet and that the Mexican drug war has claimed more than 120,000 lives since 2006.

That is what is coming here if we allow this insanity to continue.

Unfortunately, political correctness reigns in America today. Under current policies, our border agents are not even turning away minors with known gang affiliations that have gang tattoos all over them. Just check out the following excerpt from a recent National Review article...

Border Patrol officials struggling to keep up with the increasing number of minors illegally crossing the Mexican border are not turning away persons with known gang affiliations. Chris Cabrera, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307 in the Rio Grande Valley, explained that a Border Patrol agent he represents helped reunite a teenage gang member with his family in the United States. Cabrera notes the young member of Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), a transnational criminal gang, had no criminal record in the U.S., but asks, “If he’s a confirmed gang member in his own country, why are we letting him in here?”

“I’ve heard people come in and say, ‘You’re going to let me go, just like you let my mother go, just like you let my sister go. You’re going to let me go as well, and the government’s going to take care of us,’” Cabrera says. “Until we start mandatory detentions, mandatory removals, I don’t think anything is going to change. As a matter of fact, I think it’s going to get worse.”

Art Del Cueto, president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 2544 in Tucson, says agents who recognize the gang-affiliated tattoos of minors crossing the border must treat them the same as anybody else. He says these people are afforded the same rights provided to anyone crossing the border.

And according to the Border Patrol, some of these "processing centers" that we have seen pictures of lately are actually being used by the gangsto recruit more gang members...

According to Border Patrol sources, violent MS-13 gang members are using the Nogales processing center in Arizona as a recruitment hub and as a transfer point for gang members to get into the United States.

The Red Cross has set up phone banks inside the processing center so unaccompanied minors can make phone calls to family members inside the United States and back home in Central America. According to sources, those phones are also being used by MS-13 members to communicate with gang members already in the United States and operating in cities like Atlanta, New York and Chicago. Further, many teenaged males inside the facility have approached Border Patrol agents and have said gang members have tried to recruit them from shared cells. According to the FBI, MS-13 regularly targets middle and high school students for recruitment.

“The National Border Patrol Council believes there to be serious security issues at the Nogales Processing Center. Agents’ hands are tied due to the policies governing the care and lodging of juveniles and this has allowed gang recruitment and activity to flourish amongst those being detained,” vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Shawn Moran tellsTownhall. “Customs and Border Protection needs to do more to ensure that gang members that are in custody at the NPC are identified, prosecuted, and prohibited from benefiting from this crisis.”

Barack Obama can see all of this happening and yet he refuses to secure our borders.

What in the world is he thinking?

The Bubble Glenn Beck Predicted in 2008 That He Says Is Now on the Horizon

Glenn Beck on Monday spoke about what he has termed “the money bubble,” which he believes will be larger than both the dot-com bubble and the housing bubble. Beck has been warning Americans about the bubble since at least 2008, and said Monday that he believes it is now on the horizon.

“I’m not sure if the stock market bubble and the money bubble will be exactly the same thing,” Beck began, noting that USA Today recently published a piece warning of a giant stock market bubble. “But I think they are, because [the economy is] being propped up by bogus money. You’re borrowing money from the Fed at zero interest rates, and that money is worthless. It’s not backed up by anything. And when we really do hit the money bubble, we’re out.”

Beck said “once the money bubble happens, all bets will be off.”

“People will be confused. They won’t know what to do. And as I said in my very first book, The Real America, Jesus and Hitler had one thing in common. … They both could look at people straight in the eye and say, ‘Follow me, I’ll feed you.’ And people did. One was for good. One was for evil.”

Beck played a clip of himself from 2008, when he was still at CNN, describing what he believed was coming. He said:

Look, you must allow the bubble to burst. I know it means pain. But we didn’t take the pain for the dot.com bubble. We moved that pain. It never goes away. Think of it as a disease. You’ve moved that pain and you just took a painkiller, and all of the disease was pushed into the September 11th housing bubble. So, all of that pain, what they do? They just made money cheaper and cheaper and cheaper so they could get people to buy homes, spend money, go out, rack up your credit card bills…

Now that bubble is much, much bigger. Now we’re facing the collapse of that bubble. And how are we trying to solve the problem? Instead of allowing it to collapse, we are creating a third and I believe, the final bubble. And that is, the money bubble. The pain is going to be much, much worse. Because what you’re designing now, you are un-tethering from every bit of free market system that we have. You are un-tethering from the Constitution. You are cutting the ties to anything that made America America. [Emphasis added]

“I want to show this to you because, for those of who have been listening to me for a very long period of time, you know that I’m wrong on timing,” Beck said after the audio concluded. “I’m always wrong on timing, but I’m not wrong, usually, in direction.”

“This money bubble is going to hit us at some point, and it’s going to be very bad,” Beck said.”If you think the world is in chaos now, wait until that happens. … The world changes literally overnight.”

14 Reasons Obama Is Lying When He Claims The World Is ‘More Stable’ And ‘Less Violent’ Than Ever

With a straight face, Barack Obama has been repeatedly telling us that the world is "more stable" and "less violent" than ever. In fact, he believes that this is the best time in history to be alive because of how peaceful and stable everything is. And of course Obama is more than happy to take credit for his role in bringing all of this "stability" about. Just this week, his press secretary told the media that this administration has "substantially improved" the "tranquility of the global community". Apparently these guys don't think that we will notice all of the violence, war and terrorism constantly raging all around us. It would be wonderful if the planet actually was becoming a more peaceful place, but instead the exact opposite is happening. The world is becoming increasingly unstable, and if we aren't really careful we could see World War III break out before too long. But if you listen to Obama, he makes it sound like we are living in an emerging global utopia. The following is an excerpt from remarks that he made during a White House event in June...

[T]he truth of the matter is that for all the challenges we face, all the problems that we have, if you had to be — if you had to choose any moment to be born in human history, not knowing what your position was going to be, who you were going to be, you’d choose this time. The world is less violent than it has ever been. It is healthier than it has ever been. It is more tolerant than it has ever been. It is better fed then it’s ever been. It is more educated than it’s ever been.

And as I mentioned above, a similar statement was made by White House press secretary Josh Earnest on Monday...

"I think that there have been a number of situations in which you’ve seen this administration intervene in a meaningful way, that has substantially furthered American interests and substantially improved the, uh, you know, the – the tranquility of the global community."

In addition, posted below is video of Obama declaring that the world is "more stable" than it was five years previously during a speech to the United Nations last year...

It would be great if all of this stuff was actually true. But I think that at this point not even Obama believes half the things that are coming out of his mouth. He has told dozens of major lies while he has been in the White House, and the following are 14 reasons why Obama is lying when he claims that the world is "more stable" and "less violent" than ever...

#1 The downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 has brought Ukraine and Russia even closer to the brink of war. The government in Kiev is blaming Russia and Russia is blaming the government in Kiev. But Barack Obama does not seem too concerned about it. During a speech on Thursday, he spent a mere 40 seconds addressing the downing of the plane before he began a 16 minute speech in which he told numerous jokes.

#2 If it wasn't for revolutionary Ukrainian groups funded by George Soros and the U.S. government (among others), the Ukrainian government may never have been violently overthrown and there might not have been a civil war in Ukraine at all.

#3 Relations between the United States and Russia are the worst that they have been since the end of the Cold War, and the economic sanctions that Obama just slapped on Russia are not going to help matters any.

#4 Israel has just launched a major ground offensive in Gaza, and many fear that a full-blown regional war in the Middle East could erupt at any moment.

#5 The civil war in Syria has been raging for several years now. Thanks to the United States and Saudi Arabia, those seeking to bring down the Syrian government are very well armed.

#6 The civil war in Iraq continues to get even worse. ISIS has already captured vast stretches of Iraqi territory and they are using American weapons to do it.

#7 The Kurds claim that ISIS is now using chemical weapons against them. If this is true, it is really, really troubling news.

#8 The Iraqi government has told the United Nations that ISIS was able to steal 88 pounds of uranium from Mosul University. Some experts are concerned that they may be able to use this material to create a dirty bomb (or worse).

#10 Relations between the United States and Germany are at the lowest point that they have been since the end of World War II. German Chancellor Angela Merkel was so furious when one U.S. spy was discovered recently that she expelled the top U.S. intelligence official from the country. But Germany is far from alone. The truth is that most of the rest of the world is sick and tired of our "Big Brother" behavior.

Suspected members of the deadly Boko Haram Islamic sect on Monday attacked Dille village in Borno State, killed 45 people and torched several houses and shops and forced many people to flee into nearby hills for safety. The terrorists, it was gathered, came in a convoy of over 20 vehicles and motorcycles. According to one of the villagers, Njimtiku Papka, who spoke to journalists in Maiduguri on the phone, the terrorists on arriving the village started shooting indiscriminately at everyone in sight.

#12 The ongoing civil war in the Central African Republic has forcedhundreds of thousands of people out of their homes.

#13 There is horrible fighting going on inside Somalia right now...

A fierce and violent conflict erupted on the outskirts of Qoryoley district in Lower Shabelle between joint African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops and Somali National Army soldiers (SNA) against Al-Shabaab. The terrorist insurgents attacked an SNA and AMISOM military sitting in the town just outside Qoryoley when the battle initiated. Locals have reported to Shabelle that the fight also affected towns in the district like Maanyo Mudug, Farhanle and Abdi Ali.

#14 Things are not even stable in North America. Horrific gang violence and warring between drug cartels in Central America and Mexico has been one of the factors that has caused millions of illegal immigrantsto come pouring toward the United States. Today, Honduras has the highest murder rate on the entire planet, and the Mexican drug war has claimed more than 120,000 lives since 2006.

Of course this is just a partial list. The truth is that there are dozens of other conflicts that are happening all over the globe right now that could be added to this list.
