Patty Murray and Harry Reid Attack the Victims of Obamacare (Who've Been Made Up by Rush Limbaugh and Fox News)

I wanted to ad this with Patty Murray doing the same Crap that Old Harry is  Doing! Lying to their base to stir them up or to make the Clueless believe them. I wish these to  would investigate the truth! The people are speaking and BOTH of these Scumbags are calling them LIARS! These are the Liberal Idiots that can't handle the truth!

RUSH: Patty Murray, senator from Washington, on the Senate floor yesterday urged people to stop listening to me 'cause I am, along with Fox News, part of the cabal spreading lies about all these people who are suffering after Obamacare.  She says like Harry Reid, it's all lies.  There are no problems. Nobody's having a problem.  Nobody's been cancelled.  Nobody. Harry Reid's actually out there and said that: It's all lies.  Here grab the sound bite. This is Patty Murray on the Senate floor speaking about Obamacare yesterday.
MURRAY:  I hope that everybody can turn off the Fox News for a little while and not listening to Rush Limbaugh and really listen to some real stories of real-life Americans who have been impacted by this law.
RUSH:  I'll tell you what's happening.  There are massive amounts, massive numbers of victims of Obamacare.  You know them and I know them, and they've been all over television and all over the news.  People have lost their policies. People that have lost their doctors. There are cancer patients who can't get treated.  Remember the story about, what was it, 200 young kids with cancer who are unable to get treatment? Of course it's not true.
It just is not true!  It's me and Fox News making all that up.  What you really have here is the Democrat Party assaulting the victims of Obamacare, saying they're liars.  You have Harry Reid and now Patty Murray basically attacking ordinary people, claiming that all of these stories of suffering have been invented by Rush Limbaugh and Fox News.  Here's Dingy Harry.  This is Wednesday in Washington on the Senate floor.
REID: (whispering) There's plenty of horror stories being told.  All of them are untrue, but they're being told all over America -- tales, stories made up from whole cloth, lies, distorted by the Republicans to grab headlines or make political advertisements.
RUSH:  Honestly, I don't know that anybody knows how to deal with this.  I mean, the numbers are in the tens of thousands of people who have been harmed to one degree or another, some seriously, by Obamacare -- and here comes the Senate majority leader just saying it's all lies, all made up by the Republicans.  You people in the audience, you need to understand this.  This is not the Democrats attacking me.  It's not the Democrats attacking Fox News.
They're calling you liars.
All of you people who claim that you have been harmed or un-serviced or somehow mistreated or left out in the cold because of HealthCare.gov, you're making it up.  The Democrat Party is attacking you.  They're calling you liars.  This morning on Fox News Fox & Friends, the cohost, Elisabeth Hasselbeck interviewed Eileen Benthal, a mother whose daughter has had 89 operations in her life, is now facing uncertainty because of Obamacare.
First Elisabeth Hasselbeck played a clip of Dingy Harry saying -- well, you just heard. Everybody making this up. It's all lies and these stories are not true.  After playing Dingy Harry, Hasselbeck then said, "Your daughter was born with congenital malformations in her brain.  She has undergone 89 surgeries in her life.  Thanks to Obamacare, your family is stuck on an insurance roller coaster.  I could feel you breathing and holding your breath watching Harry Reid make those remarks.  How did you initially hear them, and what was your reaction?"
BENTHAL:  I was so offended. You know, here I was sitting at my daughter's bedside, and I've spent the last three months, it's been more than a part-time job for me to secure insurance after our termination that happened in the fall.  So I've worked diligently and advocated for the health care that we once had which we don't have anymore, and it's taken a lot of effort, a lot of time, a lot of difficulty.  We have lost one doctor. We lost all coverage for out of New York State.
RUSH:  "She's lying!  She's lying!  This woman is a reprobate who listens to Fox News.  Look where she is! She's ON Fox News.  She's making it all up.  She probably doesn't even have a daughter -- and 89 surgeries?  This is the kind of mean stuff the Republicans and Fox News and Limbaugh gin up 'cause she's lying." That's what Harry Reid's saying.  Her name is Eileen Benthal.  So Hassleback said, "Well, what do you have to say to Harry Reid?  Chances are he might be listening right now.  Do you think he owes you an apology?"
BENTHAL:  Before I got the call from Fox News, I actually posted to my Facebook page, and I said, "Really, Senator Reid?  I would like you to come to PICU and say those words to my face."  What I would like Harry Reid to do, if he has any ounce of regret for the words that he has said and the offense that he has made to Americans like us who are struggling, I challenge you to make a donation to the Angioma Alliance in honor of Johannah Benthal.
RUSH:  Right.  Fat chance.  The only way Harry Reid will make a donation is if somehow I do and he tries to glom on to it as his idea.  Remember that, the phony soldier letter?  Anyway, she's lying.  "She's making it all up.  Elisabeth Hasselbeck is lying and helping her lie about it, and her daughter is lying about 89 surgeries and a cancelled plan last fall because of Obamacare.  Those things are not happening! It's all untrue."  That's what Harry Reid is saying, and Patty Murray, and they're blaming it all on me and Fox News.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH:  I have a companion story here.  I had this in the Stacks all week, waiting for the right opportunity to use this.  Folks, do you think...? Since Dingy Harry and Patty Murray are out there saying that all these stories about Obamacare being a disaster are just lies, none of 'em are true, do you ever ask yourself why you haven't seen a whole host of success stories with Obamacare?  I mean, why isn't the media even making 'em up in the midst of all this?
Why don't they go out there and find, you know, average John Q. Democrat to say, "Oh, man! I didn't have health insurance. I was on the verge of dying, and then HealthCare.gov went live, and I went on and I logged on and in 30 seconds I had a policy, and now I'm cured."  Where are those stories?  There aren't any, are there?  You seen any Obamacare success stories?  You don’t seen anybody. Have you seen any patients buying ads, "Hey, hey! I logged on, I got through, I got an insurance policy.
"Furthermore, I just got cured from Alzheimer's, thanks to Obamacare!"  Have you seen any of that?  You haven't seen anybody say, "I got on, I made it through, I got a policy."  Forget being cured.  You haven't seen a never-ending series of videos from people loving Obamacare, right?  Don't you think if there were some of those, that that's all we would be seeing? (interruption) "We'll see them next week," exactly right.
They're out there listening to me and saying, "You know what?  He's right, damn it! We need to make some."  So this weekend they'll go into the studio, come up some fake patients, and next week we're going to see a rollout of successful stories.  Now, the Washington Examiner had a story earlier this week: "While Julie Boonstra of Dexter, Mich., struggles to survive leukemia, she now also has to cope with being called a liar by the Democrat who wants to be her next senator.
"And the campaign of Rep. Gary Peters is also going after television stations airing ads in which her story is featured, threatening their licenses. The ad by Americans for Prosperity features Boonstra talking about how her insurance was canceled under Obamacare and saying that Peters' decision to vote for the law 'jeopardized my health,'" in her words, there. "The ads are airing in Michigan as Peters seeks the Democratic nomination to replace Sen. Carl Levin," who is one of the many Democrats retiring 'cause he doesn't want to be in the minority.
So this Democrat, Gary Peters, is accusing this woman of lying and is threatening TV station licenses over running the ad.  Once again: Pure authoritarian, dictator-like, Stalinistic tactics.  So here you have a guy seeking the Senate seat of Carl Levin, going after TV stations for running an ad bought and paid for, which happens to tell the truth about Obamacare.  Now, folks, it's kind of conflicting 'cause there's been bunch of things going on, here.
The left is having overwhelming success in corrupting this country.  It's not arguable.  It isn't denial.  They are corrupting the culture, it seems, at will.  For example, a Breitbart story: "Girl Scouts Hire Lesbian as Chief 'Girl Experience Officer' -- As millions of moms consider digging into pocketbooks for Girl Scout cookies this year, they may be interested to know about the hiring of Krista Kokjohn-Poehler in the Girl Scouts executive office in New York City.
"Kokjohn-Poehler is an out lesbian married to a woman named Ashley Kokjohn," and she's the girl experience officer for the Girl Scouts now.  So, I mean, they're just... But at the same time, there's an all-out jihad, I think, being conducted on the culture.  It's undeniable.  At the same time that I think they're in the throes of a... I know it sounds conflicting, but they're melting down at the same time.
I mean, they're leaving Congress in the Senate left and right, all these people. Dingy Harry's claiming everybody's lying! It's a meltdown.  This guy is threatening TV station licenses and others are running around calling people (many of them probably voted for Obama) who tried to sign up with Obamacare and couldn't, and got their insurance policies cancelled, liars.  So what I mean by meltdown is, while they're having this success, they're not happy.
It's the most amazing thing to watch.
They're angrier than ever.
They win this situation in Arizona by totally misrepresenting what the bill was, and then after the victory, you go to the media and listen to the advocates, and they're just fit to be tied.  They are enraged.  They're incapable of being happy.  Whatever they get, it's never enough.  So by "meltdown," I don't mean they're in the middle of losing it.  I do think that it's gonna be massive shock to their system in November, the election, but that's only half the story, 'cause it really matters who wins as much as who loses.

De Blasio’s #WarOnKids: Shuts Down High Performing Charter School

Bill-de-Blasio

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s has been marred with self-created controversy since he assumed office. He came under fire for pulling strings to get a friend, who was instrumental in turning out the vote for his mayoral campaign, out of jail. He was caught jaywalking after calling for a crackdown on jaywalking in the city. His chauffeured car had numerous traffic violations and, despite promising a ‘transparent administration’ (where we have heard that one before), he refused to answer any questions about it. There was even anger surrounding the manner in which he dealt with, or rather failed to have an adequate plan for, the blizzard conditions that hit the city; from keeping schools open to playing ‘class warfare’ with roads and sidewalks clearing streets in the outer boroughs but not the Upper Eastside.
Now, de Blasio is under fire for his decision to kicking four charter schools out of their buildings. Three of the schools were scheduled to open in Fall 2014. However, the school that is currently open, Success Academy in Harlem, is one of the top performing schools not just in the city, but also in the entire state. Students at Success Academy scored in the top 1% of all schools in the state in Math.
In a press release, the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools President and CEO Nina Rees gave her response to deBlasio’s decision to shut down this high performing school and the 3 additional charter schools set to open later this year.
“Kicking one of the state’s top-performing schools out of its building and leaving three other schools without a building is nothing short of outrageous. At the school already serving children, Success Academy’s Harlem 4, 83 percent of the students passed the state math exam last year, putting it in the top one percent of all schools in the state. Why would anyone want to stop that kind of student achievement?
“This is an unjustified attack on the city’s most vulnerable youth—93 percent of students in charter schools in NYC are minorities and 73 percent are low-income. Among the country’s 10 largest cities, all other mayors (8 of whom are Democrats) have embraced charter schools as a solution to urban education challenges. It is incomprehensible that Mayor de Blasio would intentionally force hundreds of children out of their schools. He is threatening to take away the most valuable thing we can give to our kids – a quality education.
“These children and parents don’t deserve to have the rug pulled out from under their feet. De Blasio should immediately reconsider this decision and put the interests of the city’s children first.”
The teachers’ union in New York played an instrumental role in getting deBlasio elected. Not surprisingly, FOX News reports that the United Federated of Teachers is praising de Blasio’s decision to close down this high performing charter school and halt the opening of new charter schools in the fall.
“I’m glad the DOE has taken an important first step in vetoing some particularly troublesome pending co-locations,” United Federation of Teachers president Mike Mulgrew said in a statement. “But the solution to Bloomberg’s destructive policies – including his two-minutes to-midnight attempt to lock in new co-locations on the new administration – is to give local schools and communities a real say on how their buildings are used.”
The National Alliance for Charter Schools is taking to social media to get the word out about de Blasio’s detrimental and nonsensical decision to shut down these charter schools that will leave at least 700 students without a school in the fall. They are using the powerful social media forum of Twitter and encouraging people to let their voice be heard about de Blasio’s decision by tweeting to #WarOnKids and #forNYCkids.
How often have we heard from the progressive left that we must act ‘for the sake of the children’? Having demonstrated blatant hypocrisy on many occasions since assuming office, this move to the detriment of students should not come as a surprise. de Blasio, a vocal opponent of charter schools regardless of their academic success, is giving a nod to his teachers union constituents and supporters in his #WarOnKids.

Trey Gowdy: NO WAY we’re giving Lois Lerner immunity, PERIOD!

I hope they keep hitting this hard! These idiots are still being exposed for the cover up and the LIES!
Lois Lerner is coming back to Capitol Hill to testify about the IRS scandal but her lawyer says the only way she’ll comply is if a court compels her or if she’s given immunity. But Gowdy says the immunity request is absurd because they don’t even know what she’s done. He says there is no way they are giving her immunity, period!

California Democratic Lawmaker Convicted of Voter Fraud Allowed to Take Paid Leave

Holy Crap we have more voter Fraud!

1744263_ME_wright_AC_

SACRAMENTO, California (Reuters) – A Democratic state senator convicted of eight felonies will be allowed to take a paid leave of absence, angering Republicans who called on Wednesday for his resignation, a move that could weaken Democrats’ tenuous hold on their two-thirds majority.
Senator Roderick Wright, who represents parts of Los Angeles and the suburb of Inglewood, was convicted last month of voter fraud and perjury after prosecutors said he did not physically live in the district he represented.
“I’m the new guy here, but I’ve got very good parents and I just don’t understand this,” said freshman senator Andy Vidak, one of three Republican senators who introduced a resolution on Wednesday calling for Wright to be expelled from the legislature. “Eight felonies is pretty grand.”
For the past year, Democrats have controlled both houses of the state legislature as well as the governorship in California, with large “super-majorities” that allow them to raise taxes and take other actions that require a two-thirds vote.
But Democrats could at least temporarily lose two seats in the senate currently held by Wright and by Ron Calderon, who is under pressure to step down after his recent indictment on corruption charges. Should both lawmakers be unseated, Democrats would be one vote short of a two-thirds majority.
The senate’s top Democratic leader approved a leave of absence for Wright until the judge in his case formally accepts the verdict and hands down a sentence.
Wright’s lawyer, Winston McKesson, said Wednesday that the senator planned to ask the judge to reject the verdict, arguing that the jury did not properly apply state law defining a domicile for the purpose of running for political office.
“Senator Wright has taken a leave of absence until his criminal case is resolved,” Senate Democratic leader Darrell Steinberg said in a statement sent to Reuters on Wednesday. “He’s not coming back unless the judge sets aside the verdict. Period.”
Steinberg said he would take up the Republican resolution to expel Wright if it is brought up before the senate, a move expected to take place on Thursday.
TWO SENATORS
Vidak, in an interview with Reuters, questioned why Steinberg would allow Wright, who has been convicted, to take a paid leave when he is demanding Calderon’s resignation over an indictment that has not yet been brought to trial.
Steinberg stripped Calderon of his committee assignments in 2013, long before his indictment last week on two dozen counts of bribery, fraud, money laundering and conspiracy, after a leaked FBI document from the investigation was posted online by the news agency Al Jazeera.
He has called upon the Los Angeles Democrat to resign, and said Wednesday he had given Calderon until Monday to “consider his options.” A Steinberg spokesman said Wednesday that Calderon should “at the very least” request a leave of absence.
Calderon was accused in a 28-page federal grand jury indictment of taking some $100,000 in cash bribes, along with plane trips, golf outings and jobs for his children, in exchange for influencing legislation.
When Wright was convicted last month, Steinberg refrained from calling for his resignation. Wright will continue to receive his $95,000 annual salary pending his sentencing hearing, scheduled for May.
“The conviction is neither final nor has it been entered as a judgment,” Steinberg told reporters on January 30, in an interview posted online by the Sacramento Bee. “I do not believe it is necessary to expel Senator Wright or ask him to resign.”
Steinberg did, however, say he had accepted Wright’s voluntary offer to resign from his committee assignments.
He defended his decisions in the two cases, saying that they were very different.
“Senate leadership has already moved swiftly and decisively to address these difficult situations in a way that respects both the law and law enforcement and – above all else – safeguards the integrity of the Senate,” Steinberg said in a statement.
McKesson, Wright’s attorney, said it was unfair to compare his client’s case to Calderon’s.
“To compare this to Calderon to me is like comparing jaywalking to mass murder,” said McKesson, adding that his views were his own and not those of the senator. “Comparing this to Calderon is like trying to charge somebody in New York City with a felony for jaywalking and saying this person is in the same position as Charles Manson.”

Chuck Schumer and Dem Senators Beg Obama to Take the First Amendment Away from the Tea Party -

Sounds like they are crying like Babies when they hear the truth!

Chuck Schumer

The Democrats are doubling down on their support of the IRS’s targeting of the Tea Party movement. Yesterday, they shot down amendments introduced by Senator Ted Cruz that would have both safeguarded the free speech of citizens and prevented the use of the IRS to unjustly and unlawfully target people. Given the fact that the IRS scandal is back in the news with the now retired IRS official Lois Lerner being recalled for further testimony to Congress, one would think that there would be cooperation to protect Americans from the president using the IRS or any government agency to attack those he deems political enemies.    Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) is on the record as saying that he believes that Lerner connects the scandal all the way to Washington. That may be the reason that Lerner initially pled the Fifth after making a statement that ‘she had done nothing wrong’. The tactics may have made some local tea parties decide against forming or against attempting to get 501c4 status, but overall, the movement is still going strong. In fact, the Tea Party movement celebrated its five-year anniversary this month and has gone from simply holding rallies to truly effecting change within the halls of Congress.
The fact that the Tea Party fighters for freedom and the Constitution simply won’t go away has the ire of some Democrats who are now calling for Barack Obama to sign executive orders to put a 5 to 10% cap on the amount of political activity that 501c4s can engage in.
The Hill reports that Democrats do not see their proposal as a violation of free speech.
“You will undoubtedly receive complaints from certain corners that these proposed rules will infringe on First Amendment speech rights,” Sens. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and the other senators wrote to the Treasury Department and the IRS.
“Such complaints are without merit: these rules would not restrict anyone’s right to speak, or to spend money to influence elections,” the senators added. “If implemented properly, the rules will only close a loophole that has until now allowed donors to evade campaign finance law disclosure requirements.”
This continued attack by the Democrats comes not only as there are ongoing hearings regarding the IRS targeting, harassment, and intimidation of Tea Party groups, but also comes three months after Obama’s proposal to change definitions in the tax code as a method to shut down political opposition by conservative 501c4 groups.
The group of Democrats standing against free speech and supporting the targeting of those who are against a big government, progressive agenda are Sens. Charles Schumer (NY), Sheldon Whitehouse (RI), Patrick Leahy (VT), Tom Harkin (IA), Jack Reed (RI.), Tom Carper (DE.), Robert Menendez (NJ.), Jon Tester (MT), Tom Udall (NM), Chris Coons (DE), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Mazie Hirono (HI), Martin Heinrich (NM) and Elizabeth Warren (MS). Joining them is Senator Bernie Sanders, Independent, from Vermont.
This is not the first time that Chuck Schumer has encouraged the weaponzation of the IRS against Tea Party groups. In January, TPNN reported that while delivering a speech to the far left progressive group Center for American Progress, Schumer ‘called for President Obama to use executive orders through the IRS in order to ‘curtail’ Tea Party activities and weaken the movement.”

RAPE, MURDER, CHOCOLATE SHORTAGES: IS THERE ANYTHING CLIMATE CHANGE DOESN'T CAUSE?

Like in the 70's we were going to be in Really bad shape right now. This is the same way! If we don't get the Tax dollars and regulations and Regulation fines we are in deep Crap according to these Idiots!

Climate change will lead to an orgy of killing, looting, rape and burglary, says a new report.

Wow! Better tell John Brignell at Numberwatch.
In case you haven't seen his site, it purports to provide "A complete list of all the things that have been caused by global warming."

Each entry includes a hyperlink to the article promulgating each particular spurious claim.
But nobody actually believes this stuff, surely?
Unfortunately, yes. The people who do are called liberals.
One of them is a friend of mine and, by way of a greeting, he sent me a link to this article in The Ecologist the other day. It's headlined Time To Wake Up: the Climate Denial Beast and reports on a speech made by Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, warning on the extent to which evil climate denialists are funded to pump out their vile propaganda by the agents of Big Oil.
Senator Whitehouse invites us to be shocked by the fact that, according to research by some activist or other at a German university, "from 2003 to 2010, 140 foundations madegrants totaling $558 million to 91 organizations that actively oppose climate action."
Wow! You mean to say that it took the Climate Denial Beast seven years to spend the same amount of money that President Obama managed to blow in a fraction of the time on just one failed green enterprise, Solyndra? Some Beast!
What depressed me about that email from my friend was that I realised he hadn't sent it in the spirit of self-deprecation. It wasn't meant to say: "Hey. Can't my fellow greenies be a bit crazy sometimes!" It was meant to show me how wrong I was. Not just wrong - but probably a bit evil too.
Anyone who has ever tried debating a committed liberal on the subject of climate change will have been through this experience.
You try, as patiently as possible, to spell out the facts. (In the case of Sen Whitehouse's claims above, for example, you might note that the money spent on climate skepticism is minuscule relative to the epic sums spent by the US government and other agencies funding climate alarmism)
But the facts don't interest them because they've already made up their mind: you're a denier and nothing a denier says can possibly be true.
It was in frustration at being called a denier that one skeptical climatologist University of Alabama Huntsville Professor Roy Spencer - finally lost patience this week. If alarmists were going to equate his skepticism with Holocaust denial, he declared, then he was going to call them out as Nazis.
Thank goodness that we have responsible, politically unbiased institutions like the Anti Defamation League to adjudicate on these sensitive matters.
And the ADL's verdict is now in. Its South East Interim Regional Director Shelley Rose has issued a statement condemning Dr Spencer's analogy as "outrageous and deeply offensive"  because the "deaths of six million Jews should not be used for political points or sloganeering."
When Shelley Rose was pressed to condemn in similarly strong terms the use of "denier" to describe blameless climate skeptics, however, she was oddly reluctant to do so.
Could this be, perhaps, because in her spare time Shelley Rose has campaigned for a climate activist group called Step It Up?

EXCLUSIVE: GOP Fires Back at Reid in New Web Ad

Harry Reid can take His Lies and Obama's Lies and stick them where .......................!

I've been lamenting Republicans' haphazard and sclerotic response to Harry Reid's Obamacare smears, wondering with frustration why the party hadn't produced any instant YouTube ads or mobilized to draw attention to the comments. Last night I received word from the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) -- the group devoted to relegating Reid to minority status -- that they were working on it. They've since shared their production exclusively with Townhall:

If you're wondering why the ad doesn't actually feature Reid's remarks, Senate rules severely restrict campaign committees' ability to use floor footage in ads. This strikes me as a bizarre and anachronistic regulation, but the rules are the rules. Unless, of course, you break them to accumulate more political power, which is how Reid rolls. In any case, there's no such restriction here, so allow me to again present the Senate Majority Leader in his own words:

The NRSC spot takes Reid to task by highlighting individuals whose stories directly rebut the Nevada Senator's initial assertion that every single "horror story" is "untrue." He's since dialed that back a bit, stating that merely the "vast majority" of certain accounts are "deceptive." RNC Chairman Reince Priebus seized on a piece I wrote at Hot Air, which runs though a number of powerful stories that Reid snottily dismissed in the above floor speech. Priebus did not mince words:
  1. Harry Reid, liar: http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2014/02/27/harry-reid-liar/
DIRTY ROTTEN LIAR ... HARRY REID @guypbenson: Harry Reid, liar: http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2014/02/27/harry-reid-liar/

Good News: Illinois Hired Convicted Terrorist as Obamacare Navigator

During her tenure as an Obamacare "navigator," Rasmieh Yousef Odeh had access to Illinois consumers' sensitive personal data. Unbeknownst to those citizens, and to her employer, Ms. Odeh has an extremely sordid past. She was convicted for her role in three bombings, including one that killed two innocent people at an Israeli supermarket in the late 1960's:

Rasmieh Yousef Odeh was convicted in Israel for her role in several bombings, including the 1969 attack on an upscale Shufersol grocery store, which killed two Hebrew University students who had stopped in to buy groceries for a hiking trip in the Jerusalem hills. Leon Kanner and Eddie Joffe were killed by a bomb hidden in a candy box tucked on a shelf, which also injured nine or 10 others, according to a website maintained by the Israeli government to commemorate terror victims. The Illinois Department of Insurance quietly revoked Odeh’s certification as a Navigator In-Person Counselor on November 24, explaining in a disciplinary report that the decision was “based on an investigation which revealed that she had been convicted in Israel for her role in the bombings of a supermarket and the British Consulate in Jerusalem and failed to reveal the conviction on her application.”
Fortunately, Illinois officials pulled the plug on this woman relatively quickly; they were tipped off to her terrorist status by a US Attorney's office in Michigan. Disconcertingly, the state's background check didn't catch this -- shall we say -- rather significant omission from her resume. Even more alarming is the fact that the federal government doesn't even require states to conduct any criminal background checks on Obamacare navigators, a stunning reality confirmed by HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in Congressional testimony in November:

National Review reported last month that Obamacare's 'Covered California' employed at least 43 ex-criminals as navigators, including several individuals with fraud convictions. Elsewhere in Obamacare news, a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll shows public support for the law still underwater by double-digits, with just 35 percent of Americans expressing a favorable opinion of it. Even more problematic, frets the Huffington Post, are sentiments among uninsured Americans -- the very people for whom the law was ostensibly passed to help:

Fifty-six percent of those who identified as uninsured in a new poll conducted in February by the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, a research institution, had an unfavorable view of the health care reform law, compared to just 22 percent who said they view it favorably. The uninsured now see Obamacare less favorably than they did when the enrollment period began in October. As recently as September, more uninsured approved of the law than disapproved. Thesurvey results illustrate just how deep a hole the Obama administration is in when it comes to gaining the support of those the law is most intended to benefit.

This result mirrors an NBC/WSJ poll taken in December, in which uninsured Americans disapproved of Obamacare by a two-to-one margin. KKF now pegs that disparity at 22/56, noting that negative opinions have increased steadily since October's catastrophic rollout.
