Time for the GOP to teach the Democrats a scandal lesson

Why do Republicans in D.C. act like a battered spouse, allowing Democrats to continually impugn their motives and decency?  And why do they so often surrender control of the institutions of the state to Democrats, even when Democrats are in the clear minority, as the donkeys are now?  Through the sort of passivity and weak-mindedness that leads bruised women to claim they fell down the stairs, Republicans let themselves be bamboozled into accepting, via recusal, the definition of the first period (at least) of the Trump presidency as an age of scandal.

Against all odds, the Democrats managed to have a special counsel, with unlimited budget and no constraints on his investigatory scope, appointed to see if any crimes can be hypothesized – or even fabricated via "process crimes" – to damage, if not end the Trump presidency.  (See Clarice Feldman's brilliant Sunday column explaining how some of the current cast of characters traded roles and managed to convict V.P. Cheney's chief of staff, Scooter Libby, of a phony crime, the last time a special counsel was ginned up over a nonexistent crime: the "unmasking" of Valerie Plame.)

The old injunction that we should be careful what we wish for needs to be brought home to the Democrats and the Deep Staters seeking to oust President Trump from the office to which voters elected him.  Having generated hysteria over alleged Russian "interference" in our election, they have opened a door for the GOP.  Those charges are a propaganda ploy dreamed up by John Podesta and the Hillary inner circle, as documented in the book Shattered, yet they have been used by the Democrats and their media friends to distract and hobble our president.

The only way the Democrats will become reluctant to use investigations as a means to harass President Trump is if they experience the weapon themselves and come to the conclusion that it ought to be used only in genuine scandals, as in crimes.  There has never been any crime alleged in the "Russia collusion" narrative, which is why a special counsel request should never have been entertained, much less the A.G. recused over the matter.  (Yes, it was a "matter," not an "investigation" – because there was no crime alleged.)  That is why Robert Mueller's investigation is by its charter a witch hunt, seeking to find a crime, not investigating evidence of a crime that already has been identified.

Victor Davis Hanson addresses the questions I just raised in an article published at American Greatness, titled "Republicans and the Lost Art of Deterrence."  As with all of Hanson's writing, it is full of the kind of insight that comes from the close study of human nature over the ages, as expressed in the wars fought as civilization pursues its course.

Here is a brief excerpt, containing his consideration of the reasons for the GOP Battered Spouse Syndrome (my term, not his):

Is naiveté the cause of such laxity? Do Republicans unilaterally follow Munich rules because they hope such protocols will create a new "civility" and "bipartisan cooperation" in Washington?

Or is the culprit civil dissension among the ranks, as the congressional leadership secretly has no real incentive to help the despised outsider Trump? When Republicans get re-elected on repealing and replacing Obamacare during the assured Obama veto-presidency, and then flip in the age of surety that Trump would reify their campaign boasts, should we laugh or cry? Is the Republican establishment's aim to see Trump's agenda rendered null and void – or does intent even matter when the result is the same anyway?

Or is the empowerment of progressive conspiracy-mongering due to fear of the mainstream media, which demonizes principled resistance to progressivism and lauds unprincipled surrender to it?

Or, lastly, is the cause a bewildering misreading of human nature? I say "bewildering" because conservatives supposedly brag that they are the more astute students of unchanging human nature, while progressives are purportedly naïve believers in therapeutic remedies to perceived human frailties?

If any of the above, the Republicans had better soon wise up. For eight months, progressives have swarmed the media and our politics with false charges of Russian collusion, aimed at delegitimizing both a president and his conservative agenda.

Go Full-Bore on Real Scandals

The salvation of both the Trump Administration and the Republican congressional fate in the 2018 elections is to reestablish political deterrence – accomplished by going on a full-fledged offensive against real, not merely perceived or alleged, political scandals. Only that way will the accusers feel the predicament of the accused, especially as there is real merit to Democratic liability in a way that charges of Trump collusion have largely proved a political fraud. Only when deterrence is achieved, will the Democrats be forced to concentrate on agendas, issues, laws, and messages, not on ambushing the president.

Wasserman Schultz Subverted Democracy

They are repeating what a lot of others belive. It was an inside job, not the "Russians"

Democrats (from the party that thinks the Electoral College is undemocratic but that unelected super delegates representing party bosses are just fine) forget how former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz tipped the scales for Hillary Clinton over a surging Bernie Sanders. She interfered in the 2016 election in ways that Vladimir Putin couldn’t even dream of and arguably changed at least the Democratic Party results and campaign timeline.

In all the discussions of the Russians or their operatives hacking into the DNC and exposing the emails documenting DNC corruption and collusion with a single candidate, Hillary Clinton, the content of those emails are shoved aside. The emails documenting subversion of our democracy by Democrats, revealed by Wikileaks, were  written by Democrats, not  Vladimir Putin:

Schultz said she would step down after the convention. She has been forced to step aside after a leak of internal DNC emailsshowed officials actively favoring Hillary Clinton during the presidential primary and plotting against Clinton’s rival, Bernie Sanders…

The Sanders campaign has long claimed that the party establishment had its “finger on the scales” during the bitter and surprisingly long primary, but the embarrassing new revelations proved to be the final straw for a figure who had been a lightning rod for tension within the party.

The Russians may or may not have been involved, but in this context perhaps they should be considered whistleblowers and not hackers. It’s like someone breaking into a house only to find a murder scene. They can be accused of burglary but not the murder. Still the Russians were an easy diversion:

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has accused Russia of meddling in the 2016 presidential election, saying its hackers stole Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails and released them to foment disunity in the party and aid Donald Trump.

Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, said on Sunday that “experts are telling us that Russian state actors broke into the DNC, stole these emails, [and are] releasing these emails for the purpose of helping Donald Trump”….

Emails released by Wikileaks on Friday showed members of the DNC trading ideas for how to undercut the campaign of Senator Bernie Sanders, who proved a resilient adversary to Clinton in the Democratic primary. In one email, a staffer suggested the DNC spread a negative article about Sanders’ supporters; in another, the DNC’s chief financial officer suggested that questions about Sanders’ faith could undermine his candidacy.

So what the Democrats accused the Russians of doing, Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s DNC was actively doing. And considering what we have found out about the Pakistanis, not the Russians, that were brought in to run their IT operation, it makes sense as to why the DNC refused to turn over their servers to FBI forensic investigators, something which may now change. What else where they trying to hide:

Robert Mueller’s appointment as special counsel of the Russia election interference probe presents an opportunity for the FBI to inspect the Democratic Party computers that U.S. intelligence concluded were penetrated by Kremlin-directed hackers, cybersecurity analysts say.

The Democratic National Committee did not allow the FBI to physically inspect its machines, including servers. There is no public indication that any government agency has ever looked at the machines, prompting some former intelligence people to question the findings…

After former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told Congress that the DNC had refused his agency’s assistance, Mr. Trump sent out a tweet: “Why did Democratic National Committee turn down the DHS offer to protect against hacks (long prior to election). It’s all a big Dem HOAX!”

Maybe not a hoax, but certainly a cover-up which included Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s curious relationship with Pakistani Imran Awan.

Awan was the top IT aide to Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The FBI reportedly “seized smashed computer hard drives” from his home. He was “arrested trying to flee to Pakistan after wiring almost $300,000 to the country,” according to The Daily Caller, which has owned the story because it does actual news reporting.

Here’s an amazing paragraph from the Caller: “Awan and members of his family received $4 million from the Democratic congressmen they were working for since 2010. Wasserman Schultz has been especially uncooperative with the probe into her staffers and even threatened the Capitol Police chief for gathering evidence. She refused to fire Awan until after he was arrested, even though Capitol Police had already revoked Awans’ access to the congressional IT system in February in relation to a major security breach.” ($4 million, and you wonder where your tax dollars go.)

Why was Awan kept on after other Democrats canceled his services? Smashed computer hard drives? Where, oh where, have we seen that before? What other computer systems in and outside of Congress did Awan and his associates have access to? Could it be that Awan and not the Russians leaked the DNC emails to Wikileaks, possibly for cash? Some have raised that possibility:

Pakistani Imran Awan, the former IT employee of disgraced DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, could be the person who leaked damaging internal DNC emails to WikiLeaks last summer.

That’s what Geraldo Rivera, an attorney, told Fox News anchor Sean Hannity

“Well, now you have a possible suspect,” Rivera said (see video below starting at 2:11). “Here’s the corrupt IT guy standing on the shoulders of Debbie Wasserman Schultz arrested at the airport trying to flee, charged with stealing hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of dollars.”

Rivera continued: “What if he was the source to WikiLeaks? He has all the passwords. He has all the information. This is a huge story… Everyone assumed it was the Russians who hacked the DNC and then gave WikiLeaks the emails.”

Hannity reiterated that Wikileaks founder Julian Assange repeatedly assured him that -- contrary to liberal media narrative -- Russia was not the source of the leaked DNC emails.

The damaging internal emails showed the DNC and Wasserman Schultz had colluded with Hillary Clinton‘s campaign to make sure she won the Democratic presidential nomination over Bernie Sanders, whose unexpected popularity almost toppled Hillary.

“Assange told me personally five times that it wasn’t a state or Russia,” Hannity said, adding that WikiLeaks has not once been proven wrong in its 11 years in existence.

Interestingly, as the Daily Caller reports, Imran Awan’s lawyer, Chris Gowen,  is a long-time associate of both Bill and Hillary Clinton who has done work for the Clinton Foundation, used as a pay-for-play cash cow for the entire Clinton family. Interestingly, Gowan has raised the specter of anti-Muslim sentient in the Awan case:

Chris Gowen, Imran Awan’s lawyer, is a long-time campaigner for former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton…

Gowen described Awan’s arrest as “clearly a right-wing media-driven prosecution by a United States Attorney’s Office that wants to prosecute people for working while Muslim.”

Gowen is a founding partner of Gowen, Rhoades, Winograd and Silva law firm, with offices in Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, Penn.

His official bio on the firm’s web site notes that he “left the Public Defender’s office to work for former President William Jefferson Clinton and then-Senator Hillary Clinton. Chris was a fact checker for President Clinton’s memoir, My Life.”

“He also served as a traveling aid for President Clinton’s national and international trips. Chris finished his tenure with the Clintons by directing the advance operations for then-Senator Hillary Clinton during her 2008 presidential campaign.”

Conservative Review -- which first reported Gowen’s extensive Clinton connections Wednesday -- said that they also include work for the Clinton Foundation and its Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Health Access Initiative.

Maybe birds of a feather really do flock together. Maybe Hillary Clinton’s lawyers and donors on Mueller’s staff are aware of this?

Be that as it may, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the DNC subverted our democracy in 2016, not the Russians. Will Special Counsel Robert Mueller actually look into this or will his team of Hillary lawyers and Democratic donors continue in hot pursuit of Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner? Perhaps if Kushner had smashed his hard drives and phones, deleted 33,000 emails, and tried to leave the country, the media and Democrats would have lost interest. Then he would be acting like any other holier-than-thou Democrat.

EXPLOSIVE ADDITIONAL AUDIO: Seymour Hersh CONFIRMS Seth Rich Wikileaks Contact!

On July 10, 2016, 27 year-old Democratic staffer Seth Conrad Rich was murdered in Washington DC about a block from his apartment. The killer or killers took nothing from their victim, leaving behind his wallet, watch and phone.

Via Wikipedia: Earlier that night he had been at Lou’s City Bar, a sports pub 1.8 miles from his apartment, in Columbia Heights, where he was a regular customer. He left when the bar was closing, at about 1:30 or 1:45 a.m. Police were alerted to gunfire at 4:20 a.m. by an automated gunfire locator. Within approximately one minute after the gun shots, police officers found Rich with multiple gunshot wounds, in a conscious and breathing state.[33] He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. According to police, he died from two shots to the back… Rich’s mother told NBC’s Washington affiliate WRC-TV,

“There had been a struggle. His hands were bruised, his knees are bruised, his face is bruised, and yet he had two shots to his back, and yet they never took anything… They didn’t finish robbing him, they just took his life.”

Shortly after the killing, Redditors and social media users were pursuing a “lead” saying that Rich was en route to the FBI the morning of his murder, apparently intending to speak to special agents about an “ongoing court case” possibly involving the Clinton family.

Seth Rich’s father Joel told reporters, “If it was a robbery — it failed because he still has his watch, he still has his money — he still has his credit cards, still had his phone so it was a wasted effort except we lost a life.”

The Metropolitan police posted a reward for information on Rich’s murder.

In August Wikileaks offered a $20,000 reward for information on the murder of DNC staffer Seth rich.

Julian Assange also suggested in August that Seth Rich was a Wikileaks informant.

As reported earlier today— NPR was attempting to stop the inquires into the Seth Rich investigation once and for all.  They thought their article, that laid out a lawsuit against Fox News for reporting on the mysterious murder, would end the investigations.

Previously today Big League Politics reporter, Cassandra Fairbanks, released a leaked audio of Rod Wheeler explaining the Fox coverage of Rich and how Aaron Rich, Seth’s brother, was adamantly trying to stop all inquiries into the WikiLeaks connection.

If you didn’t think that was enough, now we have journalist Seymour Hersh stating on the record that not only was Seth Rich in contact with WikiLeaks, but that he managed to get his hands on some of the original communications between Rich and Wikileaks!

We can only wonder how long before NPR has to issue a FULL retraction on their article that attempted to claim there was no connection. In the audio posted below, Hersh confirms that WikiLeaks had DIRECT password access to the protected DropBox where Rich was uploading the files leaked from the DNC.

“There are no DNC or Podesta emails that exist beyond May 21 or 22, last email from either one of those groups. What the report says is that some time in late Spring… he makes contact with WikiLeaks, that’s in his computer,” he says. “Anyway, they found what he had done is that he had submitted a series of documents — of emails, of juicy emails, from the DNC.”

Hersh explains that it was unclear how the negotiations went, but that WikiLeaks did obtain access to a password protected DropBox where Rich had put the files.

“All I know is that he offered a sample, an extensive sample, I’m sure dozens of emails, and said ‘I want money.’ Later, WikiLeaks did get the password, he had a DropBox, a protected DropBox,” he said. They got access to the DropBox.”

Hersh also states that Rich had concerns about something happening to him, and had

“The word was passed, according to the NSA report, he also shared this DropBox with a couple of friends, so that ‘if anything happens to me it’s not going to solve your problems,’” he added. “WikiLeaks got access before he was killed.”

Rep. Steve King Calls for Full Investigations Into Obama, Clinton, Comey, Soros, Lynch, and Others (VIDEO)

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) addressed Congress last Thursday in support of legislation that requires the Attorney General to turn over documents regarding former FBI Director James Comey’s involvement in various controversial cases.

The legislation passed 16-13 with King voting in favor of it. King addressed Congress with an impassioned and detailed inquiry/speech. The partial transcript can be read below.

King opens by addressing Obama’s meddling in foreign elections, specifically that of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu:

“One of the things I would say to that is that I listen to the gentleman from Tennessee address this subject matter and raise his voice pretty strongly about the allegations of Obama versus Russians, versus Putin, I would make a couple of points on this, one is: it’s pretty clear that the Obama administration sent their people over to Israel to work against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, pretty much openly, significant dollars invested in that campaign over there. The President of the United States with at least the moral support of the people that had worked for him in the country of Israel, seeking to shift the results of the election against the seated Prime Minister [Netanyahu], then the gentleman did object to U.S. tax dollars being used . . .”

King then digs into the role of George Soros and his affiliates in other parts of the world:

“I just came back not that long ago from the Balkans where I sat in a place like Macedonia, and there I learned that the United States government, borrowing money from China and Saudi Arabia, had to be handed over somewhere at least five million dollars in contracts transferred through USAID into George Soros organizations that were used to manipulate elections in the Balkans, and that’s just particularly Macedonia, not including the neighboring countries that are there and some of that money was used to translate Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” into Macedonian to distribute the books and the rules for radicals and the actions of radicals were manifested within the election efforts in that part of the world, so I would say that the Obama administration is a long ways from clean on this as far as being involved in elections in other countries, not to mention little comments like the British if you vote Brexit you’re going to have to go to the back of the queue, so that’s the taxpayer dollars piece of this, but the long string that we should be looking at with this investigation and special counsel that at our request here.”

King dug into the inconsistencies that are present in numerous cases involving Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Huma Abedin, and others commenting:

“[This scandal] goes clear back Huma Abedin [amd] Anthony Weiner, 650,000 emails, which we still have access to, and the question that was pre-answered to us by James Comey, which is there was nothing to see there, we did a fast software search of 650,000 emails and in the case of Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner sharing laptop and sharing emails there was nothing new in 650,000 emails and what we’ve done in this Congress so far is just taken his word that, now it seemed fairly logical to take his word at the time until you examine the investigation that he conducted of Hillary Clinton, oh, by the way, it was a matter, the investigation that had Cheryl Mills, her chief of staff, as her chief counsel in the room with Hillary Clinton and both of them had a plea bargain of some kind and they were exempted from prosecution for some . . . by limited terms, but in any case, when you have this chief of staff who is a subject of investigation, too, there as counsel to the person who is the subject of the investigation and we ask under oath, and I ask these questions of Loretta Lynch and Comey under oath, and that is: ‘Where’s the copy of the transcript? Where’s the audio files? Where’s the video files? Who was in the room?’”

King then breaks down the inconsistencies relevant to James Comey’s testimonies and comments about the various cases:

“We don’t have the answers to any of that except, “no, if there were notes taken, we don’t know whose they are or where they are, if there was any transcript of the deposition, then that doesn’t exist either, neither do the tapes of either audio or video,” this looks like on its face a sham investigation, plus they destroyed a tremendous amount of information, at least 30,000 emails, crushed hard drives, bought BleachBit, hired outside contractors to scrub the emails up, and we’re to take James Comey’s word for this that wasn’t enough substance there to bring a prosecution even though a year ago, July 5th, James Comey delivered 15 minutes of the summary of a prosecution that was completely convincing to me until they got down to the last couple sentences of that presentation, which is, “well, we can’t prove intent,” curiously, there’s no requirement for intent in the two statutes that appear to have been violated and furthermore, I look back int the records to the previous October and the previous April, Barack Obama stated into the news media record, he said Hillary Clinton would never intend to put our national security at risk Hillary Clinton would never intend to harm America’s security, that’s October and April, the previous October and April, well, James Comey latched onto that word, “intend”, and they made up new law and gave Hillary Clinton an exemption for this lack of intent that they said they couldn’t prove, which is absolutely proven by the facts that he delivered to us in the summary that day and that there is evidence for . . .”

BREAKING: Ben Rhodes Now a “Person of Interest” In House Intel Unmasking Investigation

Another Obama Shit Bag that is making the news. No Obama to protect him now

Sara Carter of Circa News reported Ben Rhodes, former aide to former President Obama, is now a “person of interest” in the House Intelligence Committee’s unmasking investigation.

Circa reports:

Former Obama White House National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes is now an emerging as a person of interest in the House Intelligence Committee’s unmasking investigation, according to a letter sent Tuesday by the committee to the National Security Agency (NSA). This adds Rhodes to the growing list of top Obama government officials who may have improperly unmasked Americans in communications intercepted overseas by the NSA, Circa has confirmed.

The House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-CA, sent the letter to the National Security Agency requesting the number of unmaskings made by Rhodes from Jan. 1, 2016 to Jan. 20, 2017, according to congressional sources who spoke with Circa. Rhodes, who worked closely with former National Security Adviser Susan Rice and was a former deputy national security adviser for strategic communications for President Obama, became a focus of the committee during its review of classified information to assess whether laws were broken regarding NSA intercepted communications of President Trump, members of his administration and other Americans before and after the election, according to congressional officials. The committee is requesting that the NSA deliver the information on Rhodes by August, 21.

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power, Rice and former CIA Director John Brennan have all been named in the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the unmasking of Americans. A letter sent last week from Nunes to Dan Coats, the director of National Intelligence, suggested that top Obama aides made hundreds of unmasking requests during the 2016 presidential elections. The story, which was first reported by The Hill last week, stated that the requests were made without specific justifications as to why the unmasking was necessary. Rice and Brennan have confirmed they sought the unredacted names of Americans in NSA-sourced intelligence reports but insisted their requests were routine parts of their work and had no nefarious intentions. Power also has legal authority to unmask officials, though the practice has not reportedly been common for someone in her position. Rhodes also had legal authority to unmask Americans in NSA-source intelligence reports. But intelligence and congressional sources question the extent of the unmasking.

The Washington Examiner reports:

The House Intelligence Committee met with former Obama deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes, according to a report Tuesday.

It was already known that Jared Kushner, top adviser and son-in-law to President Trump, on Tuesday spoke with members of the panel, which is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible ties to the Trump campaign. CNN’s Manu Raju tweeted Tuesday evening that the network’s chief political analyst Gloria Borger had learned that Rhodes also spoke to the committee.

The Intelligence Committee is investigating intelligence leaks, and Rhodes has become a person of interest for certain Republicans as someone who may be playing a role in the leaking of classified information from the Trump administration to reporters.

TGP previously reported, Rep. Ron DeSantis, a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, called on the DoJ to “launch a formal investigation” into former FBI Direct Comey’s leaks, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

DeSantis named Ben Rhodes—the former National Security Council official responsible for creating an in-house “echo chamber” meant to mislead reporters and the public about the landmark nuclear deal with Iran—as a primary source of these leaks and urged the House Intelligence Committee to call Rhodes and other former Obama officials to testify publicly about any role they may be playing in spreading classified information to reporters.

DeSantis named former National Security Council official Ben Rhodes as being responsible for “creating an in-house ‘echo-chamber’ meant to mislead reporters and the public”.

DeSantis commented:

“Any Obama holdover at any of these agencies, you’ve got to get them out of there because clearly they’re not on the same team and particularly on the [White House] National Security Council”.

DeSantis goes on to say:

“I think Congress and some members of the Intelligence Committee can call Ben Rhodes to testify . . . He may be able to invoke executive privilege from when Obama was president but he definitely can’t do that in any interactions he’s had since then.”

Far Left Professor on Trump: Someone Needs to “Shoot Him Outright”

This Dirtbag really needs to be locked up. Making multiple threats to a President sounds like a problem to me.

A gender, sexuality and women’s studies scholar recently called President Donald Trump a “joke” and wished “someone would just shoot him outright” in a tweet.

“Trump is a f*cking joke. This is all a sham. I wish someone would just shoot him outright,” tweeted educator Kevin Allred from his personal account Friday night.

Earlier that day, Allred also tweeted the infamous picture of comedian Kathy Griffin holding a decapitated model of Trump’s bloody head under the word “mood.”

Allred, who has a history of controversial tweets, was listedas an adjunct instructor in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies program at Montclair State University as recently as July 29, according to a screenshot of the university’s website.

His bio disappeared from Montclair’s website after The College Fix sought comment on his latest tweet. Allred did not respond to requests via email and direct message for comment.

After Allred tweeted his presidential assassination sentiments on Friday, he received reaction — and some backlash. He quickly deleted the tweet, but continued to defend it, asserting just 25 minutes later in a tweet: “saying you wish donald trump was dead is different than making a direct threat against him. just saying…”

It is not uncommon for Allred to tweet disdain for Trump. He has also stated on the social media platform that “Donald Trump is a traitor and a terrorist. Happy Saturday!” and “Donald Trump makes me ashamed to be a human being.”

In 2015, Allred also tweeted that “until the entire system changes there are no good white people. There are only less bad white people.” He responded to The College Fix’srequest for comment at the time by saying whiteness “plays an invisible role in dominating and oppressing everyone else. And I’m speaking about a U.S. context specifically here.”

Allred has made headlines for teaching a popular class at Rutgers University about the politics surrounding the pop icon Beyonce. But he once again gained the spotlight for his tweets in November 2016 after he tweeted: “Will the Second Amendment be as cool when I buy a gun and start shooting at random white people or no …?”

It was inspired by a classroom conversation he had with students right after the November election, according to a column Allred wrote several weeks ago for The Establishment:

Our class conversation jumped from topic to topic that day. Some students shed tears. Some expressed outrage. Some were shocked to silence by the election results. We commiserated in a friendly fashion. At one point, I made a jocular, off-the-cuff comment about the Second Amendment and police brutality, insinuating that conservative white people and the NRA would care a lot more about gun control if they were constantly being shot at. Students laughed. It would be a stretch of any imagination to consider it a threat. I tweeted a similar comment later as well, framed by the events of my day and by my personal frustration with the election results.

After the tweet about shooting random white people went viral, he defended it by sayingthere was “ZERO direct threat involved” and that it was rhetorical. He also said the tweet “was a hyperbolic question posed to show a double standard.”

Nevertheless, a complaint to Rutgers University prompted a mandatory psychiatric evaluation.

A Rutgers official said at the time “we take those allegations very seriously and have an obligation to investigate.” Twitter also reportedly responded by suspending Allred’s account until he deleted the “tweet in question.”

Allred did not teach during the spring semester at Rutgers, and eventually lost his teaching gig there over the entire affair, he wrote in The Establishment.

1 Million ILLEGAL Immigrants to be Given Driver’s Licenses in California by 2018

I can't wait for California to go single payer and include all of them. 

Over 900,000 illegal immigrants own a California driver’s license and that total is expected to climb to over 1 million by January of 2018.

The numbers will only continue to rise from there.

By the time June wrapped up, over 900,000 illegal immigrants took advantage and were registered under California Assembly Bill 60, which requires ONLY proof of identity and residency – NOT immigration status – to receive a license to drive a vehicle.

How many reports have you read that involve illegal immigrants severely injuring, or even killing, people because of their reckless, often times intoxicated, driving?

According to the Sacramento Bee, the bill was intended to “bolster public safety and reduce penalties for undocumented immigrants who drive,” after the bill’s 2013 passage, which was a product of 15 years of far-left pro-immigration lobbying groups pushing to create further incentive for illegal immigrant criminality.

AB 60 turned California into the TENTH state in the U.S. to give illegal immigrants the ability to obtain a driver’s license. The sad and disgusting truth is that the law, when initially passed, brought in such a wave of applications that it actually DOUBLED the state’s expectations.

California, and the far-left regime that runs the state, wants the illegal immigrants to feel more at home than the actual citizens just so they can get their voters every year. Sad.
