‘Crumbs’ Pelosi Pans Latest Jobs Numbers as “Meaningless” and “Bad for Middle Class”

Democrats are convinced if they say middle class enough Americans will be fooled into voting for them and their job-killing, open borders policies.

The US unemployment rate reported on Friday morning is now down to 3.8%, the lowest unemployment rate since 2000!
Black unemployment is at an all-time low. Wages are rising again.
The news was too much for “crumbs” Pelosi.
The minority leader trashed the unemployment number as meaningless and bad for the middle class.
She really IS insane.
“May’s jobs report shows that strong employment numbers mean little to the families hit with soaring new costs under the Republicans’ watch.
“Republicans’ cruel, cynical health care sabotage campaign is already spiking families’ premiums by double digits and pushing millions off their coverage, according to the nonpartisan CBO. Big Pharma continues to hoard the benefits of the GOP tax scam, using their handouts to further enrich executives and shareholders instead of lowering prescription drug costs for seniors and sick kids. At the same time, the President’s reckless policies are exploding gas prices, wiping out the few meager gains that some families should have received from the GOP tax scam, as wages remain stagnant.
“From day one, the White House and Republicans in Congress have sold out working and middle class families to further enrich the wealthy and big corporations shipping jobs overseas. Thanks to the massive windfall of the GOP tax scam, Wall Street and wealthy corporations are on track to spend $1 trillion on dividends and stock buybacks while simultaneously announcing tens of thousands of layoffs and shipping jobs overseas and refusing to raise workers’ wages.
“Democrats know that the American people deserve A Better Deal, with Better Jobs, Better Wages and a Better Future. We are committed to creating millions of new good-paying jobs and raising wages, lowering the soaring cost of living for families and giving every American the tools to succeed in the 21st Century economy. Democrats will never stop fighting for the hard-working middle class families who are the backbone of our nation.”

Of course, Pelosi is lying.
The Democrats have no plan. They can only bitch.

Did Michelle Obama successfully lobby ABC TV's president to fire Roseanne?

Great example of State Run Media under a Dictator.

There are many angles to this week's Roseanne Barr controversy.  This one caught my attention: on Tuesday afternoon, about twelve hours after Roseanne tweeted and quickly deleted her comments about Valerie Jarrett that almost instantly eviscerated her TV career, a Twitter user named Josh Cornett tweeted this:
The tweet's sparse style was reminiscent of a headline or a tweet by Matt Drudge.  It was slow to trend, but around 9:32 P.M. P.T. Tuesday, Roseanne retweeted someone who had retweeted Cornett's tweet.  The retweeter had added, "This makes alot more sense then [sic] most things..."  A few minutes later, Roseanne herself retweeted Cornett's original tweet and asked, "Is this true?"
During the next two days, Wednesday and Thursday, Cornett's tweet, thanks to Roseanne retweeting it, became a headline story around the world.  Fox News on Wednesday was one of the first MSM sources to report it and to include the essence of the tweet in the story's headline: "Roseanne Barr says she may fight ABC firing, retweets claim Michelle Obama was behind ouster."

Cornett's tweet was one of many from Roseanne's fans that she cited as the inspiration for her to challenge ABC's decision after her initial apologies and mea culpas, which failed to save her show.
By Thursday, numerous U.S. media outlets as well as a number in the U.K. and Australia had picked up on the story.  The Daily Mail (London), for example, seized on Roseanne's retweet of Cornett's tweet in its lengthy, multi-media story that included a clip from a British TV show where the controversy was discussed at some length.
As one might imagine, close to 100% of the reporting on Roseanne Barr and her toxic tweet reflected  the "me too" school of journalism that currently dominates almost all reporting.  Think pack journalism and endlessly repeated words like "racist," "conspiracy theory," "unsourced," and so on.  Meanwhile, no one appears to have reached out to Cornett, the author of the tweet.  He was simply the foil for the media to pile on Roseanne.
I reached out to Cornett.  It wasn't hard to do.  His Twitter account displayed a "message" icon, meaning he could be contacted by anyone on Twitter.

Josh Cornett.  Source: Twitter.
Early Thursday morning, I sent Cornett a direct message on Twitter.  I asked him if he could clarify his unnamed source(s) for his tweet claiming that Michelle Obama had called ABC TV president Channing Dungey and demanded that Roseanne be fired.  He replied a few hours later, and, as I expected, he declined to identify a source.
Can't tell you the source, but I stand by it and put my name on it. The Obamas' ire directed at Roseanne dates back several days before the infamous "Tweet." Apparently they were outraged about Roseanne ridiculing their Netflix deal and it snowballed from there. SEVERAL PHONE CALLS were made.
So, according to Cornett, the plot had thickened: "[s]everal phone calls were made."  I asked if these additional phone calls came before or after Roseanne's infamous May 29 tweet.
The majority of the calls were before the VJ [Valerie Jarrett] tweet, they were addressing concerns over Roseanne's Netflix tweets. Can't confirm to who or by who. . . word of these calls may have actually been the inspiration for Roseanne's VJ tweets. Did VJ make the Netflix calls? The firing conversation was definitely between MO [Michelle Obama] and Channing.
I next asked Cornett for some biographical information about himself.  There are a lot of people out there named "Josh Cornett" – including one who works in the entertainment industry and has a single credit at the Internet Movie Database. Cornett replied to me on the record:
No IMDB lol, I'm an average hard working American, I'm in my 30's, I'm an investor that was inspired to dive into politics by the sad absence of Christopher Hitchens and the frustrating existence of CNN!
A brief exchange about current political topics ensued, and it's obvious that Cornett – as evidenced additionally by his prolific and skillful use of Twitter – is keeping up with the latest political developments.  A week ago, he tweeted that former President Obama had called hip-hop superstar Jay-Z and asked him to use his influence to dissuade other black rappers from having anything to do with President Trump – to prevent another rap icon like Kanye West from going over to the other side.  That tweet by Cornett was picked up by the Drudge Report and was liked by Donald Trump, Jr.
I respected Cornett's protection of the identity of his alleged source.  Trying to get some further insight, I shared a possible hypothesis about what I think might be going on, based on my own past experience.  I noted that from time to time, I have had sources who were close to or inside power centers like executive offices and who saw and heard things and shared some of them with me with the understanding that I could never identify them.  Cornett replied:
And yes, I have friends from my childhood that are very well placed and not always the most satisfied employees.
Am I able to vouch for or to confirm the validity and accuracy of Cornett's tweet heard 'round the world?  No, of course not.  At the same time, something about it has the ring of plausibility.  Various theories have been floated about why and how ABC TV acted to cancel Roseanne after the actress's offensive tweet.  Some have speculated that there was already unease at the network at having created a monster #1 hit sitcom – bigger than could have been anticipated – that served as a magnet for pro-Trump audiences.  In a critical election year, far left-of-center Hollywood might deduce that this significant development in the popular culture could have unforeseen and unpredictable consequences for the future of the Trump administration come November – consequences not especially favorable to the Democrat left.
In her latest ascent to star status, Barr herself was reportedly considered a loose cannon who was impossible to control.  She has always been controversial and a shock comedian.  In  July 1990, for example, she angered mostly conservatives when she sang – or shrieked, horribly off key – the National Anthem at a Major League Baseball game while she grabbed her crotch, which she said was intended to mimic what many baseball players do when they're on the playing field.
So what are we left with as this bizarre week draws to an end?  No one who was mentioned in Cornett's tweet has denied what he reported.  That in itself doesn't prove anything.  The cancelation of Roseanne's show was awfully sudden – within a few hours of her offensive tweet.  In its actions, ABC blew off a franchise that may have been worth close to $1 billion in advertising revenue.  Who else in 2018 America has the degree of cachet and influence to insist that that kind of decision be taken?

Report: Joy Reid’s NBC Colleagues ‘Fuming,’ ‘Embarrassed’ by Network Shrugging Off Scandal

The Garbage on Msnbc is starting to Stink

MARCH 08: Joy Reid and Vincent Warren speak onstage during TIME AND PUNISHMENT: A Town Hall Discussion with JAY Z and Harvey Weinstein on Spike TV at MTV Studios on March 8, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by Dave Kotinsky/Getty Images for Spike)

A new report quotes MSNBC staffers who are upset with the network’s casual dismissal of Joy Reid’s growing pile of controversial writings — that management won’t come clean about the “joke” claim that the blog was hacked, that more and more topics are becoming too awkward for Reid to discuss, and that the channel’s credibility is taking a big hit.

The network‘s failure to address that dubious hacking claim has irked many inside 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Several employees who spoke to The Daily Beast—on condition of anonymity so as not to jeopardize their employment—said they were largely unimpressed with the statements, noting that many questions remain conspicuously unanswered.
“Everyone in the building is laughing at the idea that it was a hacker,” one MSNBC staffer told The Daily Beast.
“It’s just a joke,” said another employee.
While Reid is well-liked and respected by colleagues, said one staffer, they are waiting for Reid and MSNBC management to demonstrate a sense of accountability for her inconvenient past writing beyond boilerplate apologies. “It’s very problematic,” said an MSNBC insider.
Particularly, many LGBT staffers at the network expressed feeling insulted by how Reid seemingly suffered no consequences for her old homophobic blog posts or transphobic tweets.

Obama DOJ failed to inform FISA Court of the informant, spy, whatever

Bill Clinton instructed us on the meaning of "is" and "alone" when he was credibly accused of sexual harassment.  Now the Obama boys, Brennan, Clapper, and Comey (sounds like a bad law firm) and their spokesmen in the Destroy Trump Media, instruct us on the meaning of "spy" and "informant" to explain why the Obama gang planted an Obama person in the Trump campaign to report to the Obama boys.  According to the Obama boys, the person planted in the Trump campaign to report the activities of the Trump campaign was not a spy, but an informant.
For me, if you're going to use the term "spy," which I never have liked, but let's assume it's a valid term, to me that suggests using intelligence tradecraft, employing an operative who has been formally trained in clandestine collection, someone who's masking their identity or someone who is recruiting and this informant was none of that.   So to me the informant is the most benign form of intelligence collection that you can do.
And moreover, the important point here is what was the objective? The objective is what were the Russians attempting to do, if anything, to infiltrate and influence a political campaign? That was the objective, not to spy on the campaign, per se.
So because the informant, Stefan Halper, was not formally trained, used his real name, and did not recruit others – and because, most importantly, the informant was trying to find out what the Russians were doing – Halper is not a spy.  But if he were a spy, then it would be okay to spy, because the ends justify the means.  He is an informant who reports to the Obama boys what he sees and hears at the Trump campaign.

Aside from the absurdity of Clapper's drivel, the use of the informant raises the question of the relationship between the Obama DOJ's applications for the FISA warrants and the Obama FBI's use of an informant or spy in the Trump campaign.  Many applications for a warrant rely on information obtained from an informant who provides information based on events and conversations that he saw and heard.
Yet the reports about the FISA warrants show that the basis for the warrants was the Steele dossier, paid for by Hillary and the DNC.  Since we now know that the Obama gang used an informant, the absence of any information from Halper, or other informants, to justify the application for the FISA warrants means that the informant did not provide any credible information about Russian "collusion" to be included in the FISA applications.  If the informant had any information worth relaying, then you can bet that this information would have been leaked to the New York Times and other news outlets for Mueller's office – and been included in the FISA applications for the warrants.
Moreover, since the Obama DOJ knew that the informant did not provide any credible information about Russian "collusion," this should have been disclosed to the FISA court because the absence of credible information from an informant embedded in the Trump campaign contradicts the unreliable information in the Steele dossier.
It does not matter if we label Halper a spy or an informant.  It is a distinction without a difference in this matter.  He was placed in the Trump campaign to report to the Obama FBI-DOJ any evidence of Russian "collusion."
Brennan, Clapper, and Comey are arguing whether Halper was a spy or informant to distract from the fact that Halper, and others, did not report any useful information.  More importantly, the Obama DOJ failed to disclose to the FISA court that it had an informant inside the Trump campaign who did not report any information to justify a warrant.  The absence of such information from the administration's informant  contradicts and weakens the reliability and credibility of the Steele dossier as a basis for the warrant.
Simply stated, the informant did not see or hear anything that supports the Russia "collusion" because there was no Russia collusion.  The Obama DOJ failed to inform the FISA court of this.

Dem Rep Cohen: I See Trump Using Pardon Power to Obstruct Justice, ‘the Resolution’ ‘Is Impeachment’

This Screwball Cohen forgot about Obama Pardoning hundreds of criminals and some in for murder. Nothing to see there?

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Wolf,” Representative Steve Cohen (D-TN) stated he believes the pardon of author Dinesh D’Souza is sending a message to President Trump’s supporters about the Russia investigation and that if the pardon power is used to obstruct justice, “which is what I see happening, the resolution, according to the Federalist Papers, is impeachment, and it needs to be talked about.”
Anchor Wolf Blitzer asked, “Congressman, so what’s your reaction to the president’s decision to grant this full pardon to Dinesh D’Souza. Do you believe it’s aimed at sending a message to his supporters about the Russia investigation?”
Cohen answered, “I think there’s no question it is, and same thing for the talk about Blagojevich and Martha Stewart. I was talking — just kind of random talk with one of my colleagues a week and a half ago, and something came up about a pardon, and he said to me — he said, ‘We’re going to show you what pardons are all about real soon.’ And this is a fellow who talks to the president on a regular basis. And I don’t know if he necessarily knew what he was talking about, but I suspect he did, and what he was saying was basically, we’re going to have like a Saturday Night Massacre, where there’s going to be several pardons in one day. And I think Manafort knows it. I think Michael Cohen knows it. I think others know it. I think Robert Mueller probably knows it. And it has the potential to be an obstruction of justice case.”
He continued, “You can — the president has total authority to issue pardons pursuant to the Constitution. It’s an unlimited power. But if you abuse the power, and there can be an abuse of the power, and the Federalist Papers talked about it, the remedy for that is impeachment. Some people say you shouldn’t talk about impeachment, but you have to talk about impeachment when the Constitution has been impugned. And if the pardon power is what is being used to obstruct the — justice in this case, which is what I see happening, the resolution, according to the Federalist Papers, is impeachment, and it needs to be talked about.”
Cohen added, “[I]mpeachment can be on — it’s high crimes and misdemeanors, not defined, but it can be what the Congress could construe to be abusing that power to where it is malevolent, to where it causes the public to have less confidence in their judicial officials, which is what we saw in the Arpaio case, where Arpaio thumbed his nose to the judiciary and Trump said, ‘Fine.’ This D’Souza guy thumbs his nose to the election laws and he says, ‘Fine.’ Martha Stewart thumbs her nose to the — to insider trading and he says, ‘Fine.’ And Blagojevich was trying to sell a Senate seat. So, he’s basically saying all these people who have acted to really put seeds of doubt in the public’s mind about institutions and about fairness are going to be freed because he thinks it’s OK.”

U.S. Economy Adds 223,000 Jobs In May

Check out the great numbers then the links below show how the Democrats Progressives Socialist Anti American Asswipes are spinning it to a bad thing. It must be the Plague Trump derangement Syndrome again

The U.S. added 223,000 jobs in May and the unemployment rate dropped to 3.8 percent, according to Labor Department figurespublished on Friday.

Economists forecasted 190,000 additional nonfarm payrolls, with the unemployment rate holding steady at 3.9 percent.
Manufacturing performed strongly, adding 18,000 jobs. Construction grew by 25,000 new positions. The Mining sector expanded by 6,000. Service providers added 171,000 jobs, with an increase in retail of 31,100.
Average hourly earnings for workers on private nonfarm payrolls climbed by 8 cents to $26.92.
White unemployment is 3.5 percent, while Hispanic unemployment is 4.9 percent. Black unemployment is 5.9 percent — a new record low down from 6.6 percent the previous month — while Asian unemployment came in at 2.9 percent.
“Average hourly earnings increased 2.7 percent from a year earlier, more than projected, while the jobless rate fell to 3.8 percent from 3.9 percent to match April 2000 as the lowest since 1969,” Bloomberg reports.
The solid hiring data coincides with other evidence that the economy is on firm footing after a brief slowdown in the first three months of the year. The economy grew at a modest 2.2 percent annual rate in the January-March quarter, after three quarters that had averaged roughly 3 percent annually.
Companies are spending more on industrial machinery, computers and software — signs that they’re optimistic enough about future growth to expand their capacity. A measure of business investment rose in the first quarter by the most in 3½ years. That investment growth has been spurred partly by higher oil prices, which have encouraged the construction of more drilling rigs.
Manufacturers have benefited from the healthier business spending and have increased hiring. In April, factories expanded production of turbines and other heavy machinery by the most in seven months.

Macroeconomic Advisers, a forecasting firm, says it now foresees the economy expanding at a robust 4 percent annual pace in the April-June quarter, which would be the fastest in nearly four years. That is up from its forecast last week of less than a 3 percent rate for the current quarter.
