Obamacare Implodes — and It’s the Republicans’ Problem?

Obamacare’s imploding. It’s a total Democrat corruption. It’s the Republicans’ problem! It’s the Republicans’ fault, the way Reuters writes this.

What an absolute… (sputtering) It makes me want to shout and spit vomit, this stuff is so outrageously miswritten. That whole paragraph is journalistic malpractice: “creating new uncertainty over how the program providing health benefits to 20 million Americans…” That’s what it was? I thought Obamacare took care of everybody! What do you mean “provided benefits for 20 million”? See, there’s that number again. No matter where you look in this stupid story: 20 million Americans. Obamacare “provided insurance for 20 million Americans” to save their lives.
The CBO said the repeal and replace would cause “20 million Americans lose their health insurance.” It’s 20 million here, 20 million there. That’s what we did all this for? So Obama still has the halo over his head because he created something that insured 20 million and the Republicans have failed to take it away? So it’s a Republican problem that insurance companies are pulling out of the Obamacare exchanges?
You see how this works?
There’s not a single Republican fingerprint on this stupid law! You know, Trump thinks the Democrats are gonna own this implosion, and we’re gonna see to it here that that’s true. But the media is gonna be out there trying to hang this albatross around the Republicans’ heads ’cause they didn’t fix it, and yet when Obamacare came out, it was panacea! Remember? It was another step along the road to utopia. It was a wonderful thing! “Affordable health care for all Americans.” I’ll never forget Pelosi saying this. She still doesn’t know what’s in it!
“Affordable health care for all Americans.” Now, it’s falling apart, and it’s the Republicans’ problem, because they can’t repeal it or fix it or replace it, and it’s still the greatest piece of legislation ever because it’s Obama’s, because it insured 20 million people. There are 20 million people the Republicans want to take it away from. But it’s their fault for not fixing it. How is the average, ordinary consumer of news supposed to make sense of this? Well, the average, ordinary consumer of news won’t.
The average, ordinary consumer of news is gonna think that Obamacare was a great thing that gave health insurance to 20 million Americans and Republicans wanted to take it away ’cause they’re just like corporations. They want kill people, and they want people to get sick, and the Republicans failed to do it because the Democrats hung tough along with a couple of Republicans. So you now have “20 million Americans will not lose their health insurance,” but everybody else will, because the exchanges are imploding, and it’s the greatest thing ever because Obama did it.
Who in the world but me could ever translate this effectively like that? Nobody, and certainly not your average, ordinary American. You notice the wording. It’s now become a fact that the Republicans “failed” to fix Obamacare when Obamacare was wonderful! It was brilliant. It was the first step to utopia. But it’s falling apart ’cause of the Republicans. The Democrats — my point is — are never blamed for any of this. Never! Obama’s never blamed. They remain victims. Obama’s a victim of these dastardly Republicans wanting to deny health insurance to 20 million Americans.

Still reeling from nearly a decade of devastating losses in statehouses across the nation as well as in the 2016 presidential election, Democrats in Washington, D.C. are plotting to pour hundreds of millions of dollars in state and local elections across the country.
With the help of hedge fund billionaire George Soros, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee hopes to wrest control from voters of congressional re-districting in 2021 when booming conservative states such as Texas will gain seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. All for the benefit of their special-interest donors.
That the first fundraisers for this self-described “super group” were held in San Francisco and Los Angeles reveals one of their goals: to reinstate Rep. Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. But they aren’t stopping there.
Headed by former Attorney General Eric Holder, the tax-exempt 527 political action committee plans a three-pronged attack to flood state-level races with outside money, to leverage activist courts to wrest control of state redistricting plans, and finally, with the formidable community organizing prowess of former President Barack Obama, to fund astroturfed ballot initiatives in the guise of “fairness.”
During Obama’s eight years, Democrats lost 12 governorships, nine Senate seats, 62 House seats, and more than 900 state legislative seats.
Republican legislators are now the majority in both chambers in 32 states, and an amazing 33 states, including Texas, are led by Republican governors.
Resoundingly rejected by voters, Democrats’ last hope is to pervert congressional district maps to subvert the will of the people.
Here’s how.
Every 10 years, states redraw their legislative and congressional districts based on Census population changes.
People vote with their feet, and Texas has grown more than any state in the nation — with many of that number coming from Nancy Pelosi’s California. They are attracted to Texas by the good-paying jobs being created here and the freedoms offered here.
Less government, lower taxes, smarter regulations, and right-to-work laws — these are the pro-growth economic policies that help our homegrown businesses flourish and that attract employers to Texas from states that over-tax and over-regulate.
As a result, more Texans are working today than ever before.
Those winning conservative economic policies are threatened by the Democrats’ plan to re-engineer Texas’ district maps to make them look like California’s maps.
The Soros network has their sights set on re-drawing congressional districts in the Lone Star State to push their progressive agenda and turn the Texas dream into a California nightmare.
But they’re not stopping there.
The Democrats are looking to re-draw hundreds of congressional districts across the nation.
Soros has meddled in local elections before, including efforts to influence secretary of state elections and their administration of election law.
In 2016, he also reportedly spent nearly $11 million on a dozen local district attorney races, including one in Harris County, Texas. The vast majority of his selected candidates won when their opponents were overwhelmed by the inflow of cash and negative campaigning.
Those victories, along with recent successful efforts to challenge redistricting maps in a handful of states, have given Democrats a taste of victory.
What Obama could not accomplish while in office, turning red states blue, he will attempt to do now through the machinations of this “super group” — a partisan focus unbecoming a former president. Keep reading

UAW Exec’s Wife, Auto Exec Charged for $1.2 Million Bribery Scheme

Fiat Chrysler official paid off UAW honcho's mortgage

The wife of a former union executive and a former vice president at Fiat Chrysler have been indicted for allegedly violating federal labor law in connection to a bribery investigation.
The Department of Justice announced on Wednesday that federal prosecutors filed charges against Monica Morgan, the wife of the late United Auto Workers Vice President General Holiefield, and former Fiat Chrysler Vice President Alphons Iacobelli for violating the Labor Management Relations Act.
Iacobelli, who was in charge of negotiating with the UAW, allegedly directed $1.2 million to union leaders in the form of jewelry, travel, furniture, and other goods, according to the charges published by the Labor Department on Friday. Iacobelli went so far as to pay off the $262,219 mortgage balance on the home owned by Morgan and Holiefield, who died in 2015. The payments came as the union negotiated collective bargaining agreements with the company in 2011 and 2015.
"Officers and employees of the UAW would willfully request, receive, and accept—and agree to receive and accept—money and things of value from employer FCA," according to the charges. Iacobelli "unlawfully paid and delivered more than $1.2 million in prohibited payments and things of value, directly and indirectly, to UAW Vice President Genbral Holiefield and other UAW employees."
Neither Morgan nor Iacobelli returned requests for comment.
Iacobelli used a training center funded by Fiat Chrysler as a front for paying off union officials that were in charge of negotiating with the automaker, according to the charges. From 2009 to 2014, the automaker spent between $13 and $31 million each year on the UAW-Chrysler National Training Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating workers in the industry. Iacobelli used some of that funding to pay off union leaders, directing "hundreds of thousands of dollars in NTC funding to pay for personal travel, personal purchases and personal expenditures of UAW Vice President General Holiefiled and other UAW officials, their family members and their associates."
Union officials were not the only beneficiaries from the center's largesse. Iacobelli also personally took in more than $1 million to purchase luxury goods. He allegedly purchased a $350,000 Ferrari 458 Spider, two Mont Blanc pens for $75,000, as well as costly renovations to his pool and house.
FBI special agent David P. Gelios, who led the investigation, called the alleged corruption part of "a disturbing criminal collaboration" between union and auto executives.
"The funds misapplied deprived working men and women of critical workforce and professional development opportunities and calls into question the integrity of contracts negotiated during the course of this criminal conspiracy," he said in a release. "The FBI and our federal partners will remain vigilant in our efforts to expose those who participate in corrupt fraud schemes which jeopardize our region's economic vitality and our faith in honest business practices."
Ian Burg, district director of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Labor-Management Standards, said that the department is vigilant in "combatting financial malfeasance" in order to protect the "financial integrity in labor unions.
"This indictment leaves no question as to the agency’s commitment to seek justice when anyone puts personal financial gain ahead of the best interests of union members," Burg said in a statement released on Friday.

Elizabeth Warren Again Calls for ‘Equal Pay,’ Ignores Pay Gap in Own Office

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) spoke out on the issue of gender pay equality in a speech on Thursday without noting the equal pay shortcomings in her own senate office, where women earned a fraction of what was earned by men in 2016.
In an address to liberal activists of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, Warren said that she is continually reminded on Capitol Hill that she needs to push equal pay.
"Boy, do they keep reminding me about this on Capitol Hill the need to say this," Warren said on Thursday. "We believe in equal pay for equal work."
Warren fell silent on the issue of equal pay after the Washington Free Beacon reported in April that women earned just 71 cents for each dollar earned by men. She notably failed to acknowledge Equal Pay Day this year, separating herself from every other female Democratic senator and most males as well.
Equal Pay Day was used by the Massachusetts senator in previous years to give strong statements demanding legislation to help alleviate the gender pay gap. In 2016, she called Equal Pay Day a "national day of embarrassment" and pledged to continue her "fight" until the pay gap was erased.
The significant pay gap in Warren's office—the median female salary was more than $20,000 less than the median male salary—was due largely to the fact that the top salaries went to men.
Only one woman employed for the entirety of 2016 made six figures, and five men made more than she did.
Warren's office did not respond at the time to requests for comment on its gender pay gap or on its decision to ignore Equal Pay Day after the report. It did, however, unsuccessfully attempt to discount the report by feeding flawed data to the Huffington Post, a liberal blog.
Warren is one of the candidates supported by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, which sells baby onesies that say, "I'm from the Elizabeth Warren wing of American Politics" for $25. It also sells a Warren-themed comic book titled Female Force for $6.
A spokesperson for Warren's Senate office noted that she also brought up equal pay at the Massachusetts Democratic Convention last month.

Warren has been criticized for citing the gender pay gap as proof of sexism, given that many other factors are at play besides gender and that her own office has a significant gap.
"We can’t just aggregate the decisions of millions of workers, split them by sex, and infer gender discrimination," wrote the New Hampshire Union Leader editorial board. "Otherwise, we would have to conclude that Elizabeth Warren is sexist."

I have wonderful news for all of you patriots! The draining of the swamp has officially commenced! We are starting to witness the fall of the Democratic party. 
The Awan Brothers aided former DNC chief Debbie Wasserman Schultz in making threatening voice modulated phone calls to attorneys suing the DNC for election fraud.
Lt. Colonel Tony Schaffer told Fox News that Schultz ordered the Awan Brothers to scare off the lawyers due to the threat they pose in exposing widespread election fraud committed by the Democratic Party in 2016.
Disobedientmedia.com reports: If substantiated, the claims may have significance for the DNC fraud lawsuit proceedings, and add to the growing controversy surrounding the recent arrest of Imran Awan on bank fraud charges.
Jared Beck, and attorney litigating the DNC Fraud Lawsuit noted on Twitter:
Disobedient Media‘s previous coverage of the DNC fraud lawsuit discussed ominous phone calls received by the Becks’ offices. The individual called the Becks using a voice modulator with a caller ID corresponding to the Aventura offices of Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The Becks referral to the ominous phone calls  to the D.C. Capital police is potentially extremely significant in terms of both the DNC fraud lawsuit and the degree to which Imran Awan may have engaged in potentially illegal activity while serving in his role as an IT staffer. This came after a string of concerning events surround the suit which eventually resulted in the Becks unsuccessfully seeking legal protection for themselves and others involved in the suit. The the former DNC chairwoman’s representatives denied the call had been made by Schultz or an associated party.
Lt. Colonel Tony Shaffer appeared on Fox New’s Tucker Carlson where he made allegations that Imran Awan had helped Schultz make the disturbing phone call to the Beck’s legal offices. Schaffer also discussed concerns regarding sensitive information that the Awans were privy to during their employment by the DNC. In discussing the Becks, Schaffer commented that Schultz had employed the brothers to do “hideous things behind the scenes… they helped her make voice change calls…” Schaffer added that the sensitive information the Awans had access to were stored in a third database, which he said is now being called a “breach.”
If it is confirmed that the Awans helped Schultz contact the law offices of the Becks, this could have significant implications for the DNC Fraud lawsuit. Unsolicited contact from Schultz to the Becks would be highly improper. Such phone calls were one in a string of apparently threatening conduct by Schultz and her associated. The former DNC chair was reported to have threatened the U.S. Capital chief of police with “consequences” in a heated exchange after he refused to surrender a laptop seized from Imran Awan.
Disobedient Media previously discussed concerns that the Awans may have leaked sensitive data related to their service for Schultz and the DNC. Schaffer alleged that a “foreign intelligence service” may have been the recipient of the leaked information, referring specifically to the Muslim Brotherhood, which he speculated was what had prompted FBI involvement in the case beyond the initial wire fraud charges.
The crimes of the Democrats will continue to be exposed one by one. These scumbags will have nowhere to hide from the truth.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s brother is Steven Wasserman, Asst US Attorney for DC. He will be handling the Awan case. How convenient!

Where is the recusal ?????
Consider this…. Steven Wasserman is the Assistant US Attorney for the District of Columbia. He is said to have thrown a wrench into the Seth Rich murder case and will likely handle the Awan case. Does his name sound familiar? Maybe like Debbie Wasserman Schultz? Yep, they are related, brother and sister, as a matter of fact.
Will Wasserman recuse himself from the Awan case. If he doesn’t, it will be the greatest travesty in the history of American law. Even if he does recuse himself, I expect him to influence the case a great deal.
But, as always with Democrat politics, nothing to see here. Move along, folks.
Of course, Awan’s attorney wasted no time pulling the “Islamophobia victim” card….
