How will Obama's minimum wage demands impact businesses?
Interesting bit of info that Obama and the Libs don't talk about!
Jon Stewart Laughs at Nancy Pelosi When She Pleads Ignorance on Failure of Health Care Website
Pelosi is such an Idiot! I don't see how the Libs in California can re elect this Clown!
Comedian Jon Stewart grilled House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi over the failure of the ObamaCare website on Thursday night’s Daily Show, and got Pelosi to admit "I don’t know" why the company behindHealthCare .gov failed.
PELOSI: Doesn't matter. What matters is it should have been prepared for. There is no excuse.
STEWART: Sure.
PELOSI: All that is okay.
STEWART: I'm not presenting it as an excuse. I’m presenting it as do we have a foundational problem? Is there a corruption in the system that needs to be addressed to give us the confidence that moving forward we can execute the programs better?
PELOSI: I don’t think there’s a corruption. There may be a risk aversion with going with the known and then just not being entrepreneurial enough to say -- question whether that is really going to do the job. But I would say this in terms of the backlog at the VA, again horrible but being addressed. And the fact that the VA.'s computers can't talk to the Defense Department’s computers to get the information is stunning.
STEWART: Seems insane.
PELOSI: But do something about it. Okay, okay.
STEWART: I was going to say that to you. I was actually going to say that to you. This brings up an interesting point though. Is it possible that the people within the system don't have enough distance from it to see the way that people in congressional offices end up going and become lobbyists at these corporations? These corporations lobby to get all kinds of arcane things put into the regulation that makes it harder for these small businesses. Is it that -- can our Congress maybe not see the corruption inherent in that?

Stewart asked, "in terms of like, we're going to set up a health care web site that is an exchange. People are going to come to it. Why is it so hard to get a company to execute that competently?" Pelosi answered "I don’t know." Stewart laughed incredulously. [See video below.]
"Let me get the House Minority Leader, I can ask her. Hold on. What do you mean you don't know? How do you not know?" he wondered.
Pelosi defended ObamaCare as a bill that champions the "inalienable rights" of the Declaration:
"We worked very hard to honor our responsibility to pass a bill that honors the beliefs of our founders, life, a healthier life, liberty, the pursuit of your happiness."
Stewart continued to press her over the incompetance of the federal government:
"Is there a corruption in the system that needs to be addressed to give us the confidence that moving forward we can execute the programs better?"
Pelosi answered that "there's no excuse" for the web site failure, and that "it should have been prepared for." She added that in response to government problems, "do something about it." Stewart responded, tongue-in-cheek, "I was going to say that to you. I was actually going to say that to you."
Below is a transcript of the segment, which aired on January 30 on Comedy Central at 11:22 p.m. EST:
JON STEWART: I meant more in terms of like we're going to set up a health care web site that is an exchange. People are going to come to it. Why is it so hard to get a company to execute that competently?
Rep. NANCY PELOSI (D-Calif.), House Minority Leader: I don't know. And –
STEWART: [ Laughter ]
PELOSI: As one who -- that's my question.
STEWART: Let me get the house minority leader I can ask her. Hold on. What do you mean you don't know? How do you not know?
PELOSI: It's not my responsibility. But I will say this. We worked very hard to honor our responsibility to pass a bill that honors the beliefs of our founders, life, a healthier life, liberty, the pursuit of your happiness --
STEWART: Really.
PELOSI: Yeah. If you want to be a writer, if you want to be a comedian, if you want to be a camera person, if you want to start a business --
STEWART: But those are theoretical I'm talking about the practical, mechanical.
(...)
STEWART: I understand that. But I guess to back that up, the point is if you have two schools of thought. One school is thought is government has a role in our lives to help improve things, and that we can make a difference in peoples' lives. Given that the other group is it really isn't. And the group that makes that argument when they execute that plan --
PELOSI: It should work. Exactly. No, again.
STEWART: For instance, are there things in the procurement process? Has the regulation become so onerous that government can no longer be agile enough to tackle these kinds of programs?
PELOSI: Let me say that one of the things is the procurement process. Everybody knew about that. There's no excuse for this web site not to work. There's no excuse. And as they say, those who worked the hardest to make sure we had health care, but it will work and the policy is solid.
STEWART: But there's clearly something systemic that is going on that is making the VA unable to deal with the backlog. To make us unable to deal. To give you an example, Obama's IT guy, owns a small company, but he's clearly a brilliant guy, he arranged all of Obama's internet campaign stuff where he would find you, you would be in the bathtub and you would get an e-mail. It would bubble out of the water, "hey, have you thought about giving us money?" You couldn’t figure out how it happened.
PELOSI: Classified as those who bathed. They know what we do.
STEWART: That guy couldn't figure out the process. He couldn't figure out how to bid for that contract. He said it was a 300-page document. And it seems like it's obscured like that purposefully so that the larger companies have an advantage, because they have teams of lawyers and things that can do it. PELOSI: It should work. Exactly. No, again.

Must Watch: Hobby Lobby Releases Anti-Obamacare Video
In a recently released video by Hobby Lobby, a family-run chain of arts and crafts stores, an employee describes the company’s lawsuit against the federal government to protect their right to religious freedom in refusing to pay for insurance that covers abortion-inducing birth control.
The company feels that the federal government has overstepped its bounds in this requirement, especially because their conservative Christian values have come under fire.
Because of the way Obamacare is affecting churches, businesses, and charities with moral objections to abortifacient drugs, the company is suing the federal government and making a stand for the religious freedoms of all Americans, regardless of the popularity of their views.
Their case has made it all the way to the Supreme Court, which has already intervened twice to keep the Department of Health and Human Services from enforcing the contraceptive mandate.
Here’s the video from Hobby Lobby:
This video makes apparent just how disastrous a piece of legislation Obamacare is turning out to be and the detrimental effects it is having on millions of Americans.
Please share this video on Facebook and Twitter to spread the word about Hobby Lobby’s lawsuit and why we need to protect religious freedom.

'I Don't Know Anything...' Holder Denies Knowing IRS Investigator Was Obama Contributor -
(CNSNews.com) – At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday, Attorney General Eric Holder denied knowing that a top Democratic donor is leading the internal investigation into the IRS targeting of conservative groups.
“No, I don’t know anything about the political activities of any of the people who are involved in this investigation,” he said when Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) questioned him during a Justice Department oversight hearing.
“I must tell you I find it astonishing that the Department of Justice appointed a major Obama donor to head this investigation, so the first question I want to ask is did you know that the lawyer in charge of this investigation was a major Obama donor?” Cruz asked Holder.
On Jan. 8, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, sent a letter to Holder, calling Bosserman’s involvement “highly inappropriate” and demanding that she be “immediately” removed from the investigation.
Issa’s letter detailed that Barbara Bosserman, a trial attorney within the IRS’s Civil Rights Commission, donated close to $7,000 to “Obama’s political campaigns and the Democratic National Committee” between 2004 and 2012.
Holder objected to “the characterization” of Bosserman as the lead lawyer on the case, saying the investigation is “being done by the civil rights division as well as the criminal division of the Justice Department, and if I had to assign a lead in this, I would say that the criminal division of Public Integrity section has actually got the lead.”
“General Holder, with all due respect, you did not answer the question I asked, which is did you know that this lawyer was a major Obama donor,” Cruz said.
After Holder denied knowing the “political activities” of anyone involved in the investigation, Cruz noted that the DOJ ethics guidelines instruct lawyers who believe their “impartiality might be questioned” must either “disqualify” themselves or “see an ethics officer.”
“And indeed it goes on to say, ‘In a case where your impartiality might be questioned, you may obtain a formal opinion that the department’s interest in your participation in this matter outweighs the concern that the integrity of the department’s operation would be questioned,’” Cruz added.
“Now, previously when you were asked about this, you made a reference to the fact that she has a First Amendment right to be involved in politics, and that’s surely right,” Cruz told Holder.
“No one’s talking about restraining her First Amendment right to be involved in politics,” Cruz added.
The fact that “a major Obama donor is playing this leadership role has resulted in the integrity of the department being questioned,” Cruz said. “Is it your position that out of the 117,000 employees at the Department of Justice the only lawyer available to head this investigation was a major Obama donor?”
“First we have 112,000 people, but beyond that, the people who are assigned to this case, the assignments were done by career people within the department to make sure that the best people with the greatest amount of experience would handle this matter,” Holder replied.
“Your repeated reference to her as the lead lawyer, as I said is not born out by the role she’s actually playing,” he continued.
Holder said he had no “basis” to believe that those involved with the investigation are doing so in a way that differs from the way investigations are normally done.
“That is by looking at the facts, applying the law to those facts, and reaching the appropriate conclusions. I don’t have any basis to believe that anything other than that is occurring,” he added.
Cruz noted that 280 days – nine months – have passed since the IRS scandal first broke, and “no one’s been indicted.” On top of that, “many if not all of the victims have not even been interviewed.”
“Apparently the anger and outrage that both the president and you expressed has utterly disappeared. Indeed, last night in the State of the Union address, the president did not so much as mention the words IRS, so that anger and outrage sees very little manifestation in actual action,” Cruz said.
“I would hope that the president would not discuss an ongoing investigation. I don’t know if you’ve ever conducted an investigation, Senator, but the fact that it’s taken – and I’ll just take you at your word – 280 days is not unusual for complex investigations,” Holder replied.
“We want to make sure that what we do is comprehensive and that at the end of the day we get it right,” he said. “I don’t ask people to do things on a short basis, I ask people simply to do them right.”
“Many of the victims” in the IRS scandal have not been interviewed, Cruz pointed out.
“Has the investigation examined the meetings between the head of the IRS and White House political operatives to determine the degree of political influence that was exercised from the White House over this political targeting?” he asked Holder.
“As I said to I think it was maybe Senator Graham, I’m not going to discuss an ongoing investigation and what steps have been taken in connection with that investigation, and that is not something I’m only doing for this inquiry,” Holder responded.
“This would be an answer you would get from me for any investigation that the Justice Department was involved in. It is not appropriate for an attorney general or any Justice Department person to discuss an ongoing criminal investigation,” Holder added.
Cruz asked Holder whether there has been an investigation into whether the IRS targeted individual donors to former Gov. Mitt Romney’s campaign “at a greater rate” than Obama donors.
“I will tell you as I traveled the country, I have heard from dozens of financial supporters for Governor Romney who told me that they had never been audited in their life and within a week, a month of it becoming public that they were raising money for Mitt Romney, they discovered they were being audited,” Cruz said.
While Cruz said “those are anecdotal stories,” he said, “it would be relatively simple to examine the prosecution rates of Obama donors versus Romney donors, and if there were a sharp differential – if it were the case that Romney donors were being audited at a much higher frequency – that would raise substantial basis to investigate further.”
“Has the investigation inquired as to that?” Cruz asked Holder.
“Senator, I’ll give you the same response to the questions that you’re asking that are in many ways very similar, I am not going to discuss what we have done in ongoing investigation,” Holder replied.
“This is a matter that is presently being investigated. Interviews are being done. Analysis is being conducted, and it would be inappropriate for me to talk about the matter in the way that you have asked,” he added.

MUST SEE: Black Activists Turn on Obama and Say “Just Quit” (Click to Watch)
The black community is starting to wake up and realize that Obama has been a disaster for minorities across the country.
In Obama’s home city of Chicago, the outcries against this administration have been especially intense. A town hall meeting held by Al Sharpton quickly turned on him and calls against the president and his cronies like Rahm Emanuel that he helped put into office were loud and clear.
After Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday night, black activists in Chicago reacted negatively to the president’s remarks, telling him, why don’t you “just quit.”
Our friends at IJ Review write:
Tuesday night, activists in Chicago were interviewed shortly after the President delivered the State of the Union address, offering their perspective and feedback on what the President had to say.Rebel Pundit has released video of those reactions, including remarks from J.R. Fleming of the Chicago Anti-Eviction Campaign, Joe Watkins, Founder of V.O.T.E. (Voices of the Ex-Offender), and Mark Carter, of V.O.T.E., among other activists.Mark Carter commented, “We’d be better of with you cutting off your presidency right now. Just quit.”Obama’s blame game is not selling, with Fleming saying “the reason why our economy is dying is because the President’s approach as always is to place blame.”Mark Carter adds “In Chicago, there are no Republicans, no tea partiers,” clearly putting local and national hardships squarely on Democrats’ shoulders. Also taking hits were raising the minimum wage, the influence of unions, the President’s lack of specificity or prescription, and even the now infamous cup of cocoa.
Outstanding. It’s so telling that black activists in Chicago are starting to go after Obama after they were initially so supportive of him. They’re tired of their support being taken for granted, and they want the president to stop blaming and start leading.
Black leaders are stepping up to criticize the president for constantly blaming Republicans, racism, and the Tea Party for everything that goes wrong with Obama’s policies. They’re starting to see that the liberal agenda has done nothing but harm to their communities since the Great Society. I expect to see more black leaders begin to publicly announce support for conservatism, like the state senator from Louisiana, Elbert Guillory. It’s time for us to go and reach out to minority voters.
Please recommend and share this article on Facebook and Twitter to spread the word about how the very people who put Obama in office are abandoning him.

Don't Know the Party of a Politician Caught in a Scandal? He's Probably a Democrat
Within the span of 40 seconds, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams reported on two politicians caught in scandals, one a Republican the other a Democrat, but he gave the party affiliation of only one of the troubled politicians. Can you guess which one?
On the January 27 Nightly News, Williams reported that “Florida Republican Congressman Trey Radel has resigned effective tonight. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor cocaine possession.” In the very next news brief Williams announced: “A name from New Orleans’s recent past went on trial there today. Ray Nagin, mayor of the city during Katrina, in court on bribery charges.” Williams never noted Nagin was a Democrat. (video after the jump)
Williams’ refusal to give the party identification of Nagin continues a curious trend by the Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) network anchors and reporters to rarely identify corrupt politicians with the “D” label. That same courtesy is hardly ever extended to Republicans, as seen in the following political corruption stories that have broken over the past year:
■ When the Radel arrest was first reported on November 20, all six network newscasts on that Tuesday and the morning shows the following Wednesday made sure to point out Radel’s GOP affiliation. Many of them identified him with the Tea Party. ABC’s Good Morning America reporters actually mentioned “Tea Party,” “conservative” or “Republican” five times in less than two and a half minutes. In contrast, when federal corruption indictments against Nagin first came down, on January 18, 2013, all three broadcast networks ran short items on their evening newscasts, but none of them mentioned his party affiliation.
■ On January 22, less than 24-hours after former Virginia Republican Governor Bob McDonnell was indicted on 14 charges including conspiracy and fraud, all three network morning shows immediately identified him as a Republican. In contrast, in March 2008 when Democratic Governor Elliot Spitzer of New York was identified as “Client Number 9” in a prostitution ring, ABC and NBC failed to label Spitzer as a Democrat for two straight days.
■ On August 22, 2013 when it became clear that the Democratic Mayor of San Diego Mayor Bob Filner was about to resign, after being accused of sexually 18 women, NBC and ABC refused to attach the “D” label on their August 22 evening and August 23 morning shows (Bill Whitaker, on the August 23 CBS This Morning, did mention Filner was a Democrat.) In contrast, on August 22 ABC reported on a controversy surrounding the Lieutenant Governor of Texas David Dewhurst that involved him allegedly intervening for his step-niece that was arrested for
■ On February 15, 2013, all three network morning shows failed to mention Democratic affiliation of another corrupt ex-San Diego mayor that had gotten into trouble, was a Democrat. All three network morning shows reported that Maureen O’Connor (mayor of the city from 1986 to 1992) admitted to gambling away $1 billion on video poker and had stolen $2 million from her late husband’s charity in the process. Not one of the network reports mentioned she belonged to the Democratic Party.
The MRC has compiled many more examples of this double standard. For more, please visit this page.

PALIN: OBAMA WILL HURT AMERICAN WORKERS BY 'TRYING TO RAM THROUGH AMNESTY'
While slamming the "extreme hubris" and "naïveté" in what she said was President Barack Obama's rehashed State of the Union address, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin emphatically called out Obama for claiming to care about inequality, job creation, and American workers while pushing for amnesty that will reduce their wages and make it tougher for them to find jobs.
On Tuesday, Obama again called on Congress to get immigration reform done this year, right before the House GOP leadership is set to release its "immigration principles," which are expected to push for "legal status" for millions of illegal immigrants.
"While claiming to be concerned with job creation for American workers, our government is trying to ram through amnesty, which will result in a flood of foreign workers competing with Americans for the few jobs there are," Palin wrote in a Facebook response on Wednesday morning.
Palin also quoted Ronald Reagan's famous maxim that the nine most frightening words in the English language are, "I’m from the government and I’m here to help." She mocked all of the "help" that "a bloated bankrupt federal government has given us":
- In an attempt to “fix” our health care system, government has taken away our
health insurance and forced us to buy worse plans we don’t want and can’t afford. - To “stimulate” the economy, government blew a trillion dollars on a failed stimulus scheme that sunk us deeper into such a pile of
debt that our great-great-great grandchildren won’t be able to pay it off. And our government still wants to blow more money we don’t have on “investments” that will incur more deficits year after year. - To “lead” us to energy independence, government throws billions at bankrupt boondoggle green energy gimmicks that conveniently reward campaign donors. Meanwhile, the President stymies development of conventional resources that we actually use and he kills a pipeline that’s guaranteed to provide jobs and reliable energy.
- To “create” jobs, government has created more burdensome regulations and requirements and sat back to watch as a record number of Americans simply quit the workforce and gave up trying to
find jobs that government can never create.
"These examples prove that growing government isn't the answer; rather, it’s the problem. It’s tempting to tune out rhetoric like last night's naive promises that this time will be different, but we must not ignore it!" she wrote. "Between the hubris of an executive branch governing by fiat, to the arrogance of believing it can spy on citizens’ communications and unleash the IRS to harass people who happen to disagree with the President, it’s now more important than ever for us to press in and pay attention."
Palin said that though America is "obviously on a dangerous path... 'We the People' don't have to be 'We the Sheeple' and just get shepherded towards a fundamental transformation that’s against America’s will."
"There’s another way! This nation can shine again with the elbow grease we as individuals can provide! But we mustn’t let a statist-leaning government dull our dedicated efforts," she continued. "So pay attention. Get involved. Understand the way words are manipulated by politicians who practice to deceive, so that we can DO something about it."
Palin mentioned it was ironic that Obama used the phrase “fairness and equality under the law” during his speech while Obama has been "arbitrarily amending his signature legislation, Obamacare, practically every other day to give breaks to his cronies and leave the rest of us without 'connections' out in the cold. I guess some of us are less fair and equal under Obama’s laws."
"The last thing we need right now is more 'help' from big government. In this mid-term year, we need to send new leadership to D.C. to get government back on our side and off our aching backs," she wrote. "Thankfully, November is just around the corner."
"The last thing we need right now is more 'help' from big government. In this mid-term year, we need to send new leadership to D.C. to get government back on our side and off our aching backs," she wrote. "Thankfully, November is just around the corner."
Palin said she was fortunate that, like many Americans who "skipped huddling around the TV last night for the State of the Union address because you’ve heard it all before" and "were just busy with life," she did not watch the speech on television.
"Putting the real world on hold to watch the fantasy declaration of 'utopia’s-on-its-way' just isn’t efficient," Palin wrote.
She said her "truck radio was tuned in though" and that "driving kids to and from ball games with me negotiating control of the dial allowed me to hear what I’d forebodingly anticipated."
"Later, reading the President's remarks on my cell phone made sitting on sticky steel bleachers (that exacerbate parents’ sore backs) that much more uncomfortable. It was all confirmation that we HAVE heard it all before – how more government is supposedly the answer," Palin wrote. "But the extreme hubris and naïveté that emanated from that speech was something new and alarming."

Brutal Video: Blue Collar Workers Discover Obamacare's New Costs
Stop what you're doing and watch thislocal news report from start to finish. Via Pittsburgh's ABC News affiliate, anabsolutely devastating indictment of the "Affordable" Care Act:
As we learned earlier this month, the vast majority of "new" Obamacare sign-ups are people who weren't previously uninsured. A national analysis by McKinsey showed that among the uninsured who've decided not toenroll , unaffordable costs was their top reason for taking a pass. The White House can trot out cherry-picked success stories 'til kingdom come (even though some of them will inevitably turn out to be embarrassing mistakes). For most people, this law is a failure. It's actively harming people, despite Democrats' sales pitch that promised no trade-offs, no losers, no down sides. It needs to be repealed and replaced with a better plan. And Republicans -- in both the Senate and now the House -- are on the case:
If you don't watch all the way through, you'll miss a shell-shocked middle-class mother nearly reduced to tears as she contemplates her new premiums and deductible. Even the few workers who "save" money on premiums are staring at towering new deductible, the out-of-pocket minimum they must pay for care before their coverage kicks in. "There's nothing affordable about it," sighs one such employee. "I can't afford it." These aren't Wall Street fat-cats. These aren't free riders who've cavalierly declined to buy coverage, sticking others with the bill when they visit the emergency room. These aren't greedy insurance executives "discriminating" against sick people. These people don't even come close to resembling Obamacare supporters' designated villains. They're blue collar Pennsylvanians trying to make ends meet, working with their hands at an auto repair shop. Look at their faces as they grapple with their new reality. Will I be able to pay my mortgage ? Do we need to re-think that family vacation we've been promising the kids for five years? Please, God, let that lump be nothing.
It's heartbreaking. It's infuriating. The owner of the shop is seeing his premiums increase by nearly $600 per month, causing him to wonder aloud how his enormous new costs are "going to affect everybody." Perhaps these employees will find themselves among the millions whose companies will simply stop offering plans altogether once the employer mandate kicks in next year. Bear in mind that the workers featured in this package aren't in the individual market (at least not yet); they're in the employer-based market, which the White House has insisted"isn't affected" by Obamacare. Tell that to Judy. She and the others were told by politicians that their premiums and costs would drop by an average of $2,500 per family. Now the country's committed well over $1 trillion to finance a plan that is raising costs, throwing people off their existing coverage, limiting their choices, and isn't coming close to drastically reducing the ranks of the uninsured. Speaking of whom, guess who's more disenchanted with the new law than ever before?

Uninsured Americans — the people that theAffordable Care Act was designed to most aid — are increasingly critical of the law as its key provisions kick in, a poll released Thursday finds. This month’s tracking poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation found that 47 percent of the uninsured said they hold unfavorable views of the law while 24 percent said they liked it....The poll did not pinpoint clear reasons for this drop, which comes in the first month that people could start using insurance purchased through the online marketplaces that are at the heart of the law. It did point out that more than half of people without insurance said the law hasn’t made a difference to them or their families.

RNC CHAIR CALLS FOR MSNBC BOYCOTT OVER RACE TWEET
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is launching a boycott of MSNBC over an incendiary tweet from the network that suggested "the rightwing" would "hate" a television ad featuring a biracial family, Breitbart News has learned.
"Until you personally and publicly apologize for this behavior, I have banned all RNC staff from appearing on, associating with, or booking any RNC surrogates on MSNBC. I have asked Republican surrogates and officials to follow our lead," Priebus told MSNBCPresident Phil Griffin in a letter sent today.
Priebus also sent a memo to Republican officials and surrogates urging them not to appear on the network until Griffin apologizes.
MSNBC's tweet, sent from the network's official account last night at 8:06pm, said, "Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go aww" and linked to a Cherios ad "w/ biracial family."
The left-wing cable network deleted the missive last night and tweeted, "Earlier, this account tweeted an offensive line about the new Cheerios ad. We deeply regret it. It does not reflect the position of msnbc."
But Priebus noted in his memo the attack is hardly the first time the network has gone to extraordinary lengths to discredit Republicans and conservatives.
"This is more than just a tweet or an offhand comment. This is part of a pattern of behavior that has gotten markedly worse, and until Phil Griffin personally apologizes and takes corrective action, we cannot be part of this network's toxic programming," Priebus said.
"MSNBC hosts---including Alec Baldwin, Martin Bashir, Melissa Harris-Perry, Alex Wagner, and Ronan Farrow just to name a few---have had a troubling streak in the last several weeks of making comments that belittle and demean Americans without furthering any thoughtful dialogue. Perhaps it's time for the executives at MSNBC to consider whether their network is upholding a meaningful journalistic mission," the Wisconsin Republican added.

MSNBC ACCUSES 'RIGHTWING' OF HATING BIRACIAL FAMILY IN SUPER BOWL CHEERIOS AD
This Network is the Pond scum of Cable or as someone told me the "crap in an Outhouse" They Stink!
Update: MSNBC Deletes Tweet, Apologizes
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2014/01/29/MSNBC-Celebrates-Biracial-Super-Bowl-Cheerios-Commercial-By-Accusing-Rightwing-of-Racism
http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2014/01/despicable_msnbc_racism_compounded.html
On Wednesday night, the official MSNBC Twitter account posted a tweet celebrating General Mills’ decision to air a biracial commercial touting Cheerios during this Sunday’s Super Bowl. However, that tweet came at the expense of suggesting “the rightwing” was racist.
Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new#Cheerios ad w/ biracial family. http://on.msnbc.com/1dPgQEU
The commercial titled “Gracie” is part two of last year’s popular “Just Checking” commercial for Cheerios, with the father this time using Cheerios to explain to “Gracie” she will soon have a younger sibling.
That’s the latest jab at the right from MSNBC over biracial families. Last month, MSNBC host Melissa Harris Perry took a shot at former Republican presidential nominee MittRomney and his adopted biracial grandson, which forced her to later issue an apology.

Report: 20% of Obamacare 'Enrollees' to See Cancellation Notices Soon
One in five Obamacare "enrollees" could have their plans cancelled for failure to pay their first month's premium. That figure is based on reports from health insurers themselves, some of whom have made 10 attempts to collect the first payment.
The exact percentage of those who pay (the actual definition of enrollment) varies among insurers according to a report Thursday by CNN Money. Medical Mutual of Ohio put the figure at 88 percent while CoOportunity Health put it lower at 82 percent. CoOportunity CEO Cliff Gold tells CNN "We figure either those people had a change of heart or thought it was too expensive." WellPoint would only say a majority but not a "vast majority" had paid their first premium. CNN estimates the overall percentage of insurers it polled at one in five.
Earlier this month health insurance expert Bob Laszewski estimated, based on his contacts in the industry, that 10-20 percent of Obamacare enrollments would be dropped for failure to pay. CNN's report suggests the actual figure will be closer to the upper end of Laszewski's estimate.
The Obama administration has reported that, as of December 28th, 2.1 million people had enrolled in private insurance plans . However the administration counts anyone who selected a plan on a health exchange website as enrolled whether or not they have paid a premium.
The high rate of cancellations will certainly have a political impact in not an immediate policy impact. If the 20 percent figure highlighted by CNN is accurate, roughly 400,000 people the administration has already counted as enrolled under Obamacare will receive cancellation letters. That's considerably more than the total number who enrolled in October and November combined. It would also mean the total number of people enrolled did not pass 3 million as HHS claimed last week.
Those individuals who are canceled for non-payment will need to start over in order to get insurance before the enrollment period ends in March. Presumably, those who do so will be counted as enrolled a second time unless HHS is careful to exclude duplicates or simply revises its earlier numbers downward to account for cancellations. It's just one more asterisk to add to the list of already dubiousnumbers coming from the administration.

Free Speech: The IRS scandal is not only not over but is getting worse, with a call by New York's senior senator for the already-politicized agency to use its power to tax to destroy the conservative grass-roots movement.
Arguing that the Supreme Court's 2010 Citizens United decision allowed Tea Party groups to "funnel millions of undisclosed dollars into campaigns with ads that distort the truth and attack government," Charles Schumer wants the IRS and other government agencies to take on the Tea Party through their administrative powers.
"It is clear that we will not pass anything legislatively as long as the House of Representatives is in Republican control, but there are many things that can be done administratively by the IRS and other government agencies," Schumer said in a speech before the leftist think tank Center for American Progress.
Calling for the IRS to use its powers to resume war on the First Amendment and free speech he doesn't like in the hopes of electing more Democrats, Schumer said: "We must redouble those efforts immediately."
Schumer was the author of the 2010 Disclose Act that failed to make it through Congress but would have required the disclosure of corporate donors to tax-exempt organizations, and membership and donor lists of the groups running "issue" ads.
"The bill was designed to embarrass companies," Schumer admitted, and its "deterrent effect should not be underestimated."
Advocating the use of government power to harass and intimidate political opponents is nothing new to Schumer. Along with Democratic Sens. Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Tom Udall of New Mexico and Al Franken of Minnesota, he sent a similar letter to IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman in February 2012 asking the IRS to investigate 12 conservative groups he accused of violating their tax-exempt status and engaging in coordinated political activity.
This effort to use government power to fundamentally transform our political system more along the lines of the Venezuelan model includes new IRS rules for 501(c)(4) organizations that would redefine "candidate-related political activity" and make virtually everything such tax-exempt political groups do a taxable activity.
Washington, D.C., attorney Cleta Mitchell, who represents a number of the Tea Party groups targeted by the IRS, says that under the new rules candidate-related activities would cover just about everything a 501(c)(4) typically does, including candidate debates, guides for voting, lobbying at the grass roots, issue advocacy as well as any public statements by officers of 501(c)(4)s that reference incumbents and candidates.
