In June, 19-year old Brendan Tevlin was gunned down in New Jersey on his way home. His killer is also responsible for the killing of 3 gay men in Seattle. Brendan’s killer said that he was chosen as a ‘just kill’ in the name of Islam.
The killer, Ali Muhammad Brown, said, his vengeance was “For the lives, millions of lives are lost every day, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, all these places where innocent lives are being taken every single day … All these lives are taken every single day by America, by this government. So a life for a life.”
Yet, the media has remained largely silent about this act of jihad in America. Barack Obama has not said a word. In fact, he continues to minimize any terrorist threat of ISIS or any other Islamic group on American soil going so far as to claim that these groups, despite their religious practices and killing in the name of Islam, are not Islamic.
