Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton refused to say Tuesday at a press conference whether she wiped her private email server clean.

The Democratic frontrunner was repeatedly pressed on the topic by Fox News senior White House correspondent Ed Henry.

“Did you try to wipe — so there would be no email, no personal, no official — wipe the whole thing?” Henry asked.

Clinton said that her personal emails are her “personal business,” adding that she went through a process to turn over work-related emails to the State Department.

“But did you try to wipe the whole server?” Henry pressed.

“I, I have no idea,” Clinton replied. “It’s why we turned it over—”

Henry interjected.

“You were the official in charge. Did you wipe the server?” he asked.

“Like with a cloth or something?” she replied.

“Like with a cloth or something?”

“You know how it works digitally. Did you try to wipe the whole server?” Henry pressed.

“I don’t know how it works digitally at all,” Clinton insisted.

“Did you try it? Did you not try it?” Henry again asked.

“Ed, I know you want to make a point. And I can just repeat what I have said,” she said.

“It’s a simple question,” Henry quipped back.

“In order to be as cooperative as possible, we have turned over the server. They can do whatever they want to with the server to figure out what’s there and what’s not there,” Clinton said.

The testy exchange came after NBC News reported that the FBI remains optimistic it can recover some information from Clinton’s email server, despite an “attempt” to wipe it clean.
