Oops! Iran Announces Transfer of Uranium Yellowcake – Day After DNI Director Dan Coats Refutes Trump, Insists Iran Is Not Pursuing Nukes

On Tuesday Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats refuted President Trump and insisted the Iranian regime was not seeking nuclear arms.
Coats testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee and defended the Iranian regime and Obama administration talking points.
Politico reported:

America’s top intelligence official on Tuesday publicly broke with President Donald Trump on several critical foreign policy fronts, saying North Korea is not likely to give up its nuclear weapons, Iran is not yet seeking a nuclear weapon and the Islamic State terrorist group remains a forceful presence in Iraq and Syria.
The remarks by Dan Coats, the U.S. director of national intelligence, underscored how out of step Trump’s pronouncements on major national security issues often are with the rest of the government he leads, including intelligence agencies that he has long scorned.
On Wednesday Iran announced the second consignment of yellowcake uranium to its conversion facility in Isfahan province.
Fars News reported:
Iran on Wednesday dispatched the second cargo of yellowcake produced in Ardakan plant in the Central parts of the country to the Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) in Isfahan province.
Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi issued an order to transfer the yellowcake produced in the Ardakan factory, located in the Central province of Yazd, to the UCF in Isfahan.
Iran had on April 20, transferred the first batch of yellowcake (10 tons) to the UCF to mark the country’s National Day of Nuclear Technology. The second cargo which weighs 30 tons was dispatched on Wednesday.
Before issuing an order to send the new consignment, Salehi said that Iran is prepared to increase its production of yellowcake to over 300 tons annually in the next 5 to 6 years.
Yellowcake is a type of uranium concentrate powder obtained from leach solutions, in an intermediate step in the processing of uranium ores. It is a step in the processing of uranium after it has been mined but before fuel fabrication or uranium enrichment.
Dan Coats should be removed.

Reason Why Democrats Don’t Want Border Wall? The DNC and Clinton Foundation Both Reportedly Paid Off by Mexican Cartels

We reported earlier that the former Mexican President has been aligned with Mexican cartels.  He’s accused of taking millions from the cartels –
Former Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto accepted a $100m (£77m) bribe from drug cartel kingpin Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, a witness has testified.
Alex Cifuentes, who says he was a close associate of Guzmán for years, told a New York City courtroom that he had told authorities of the bribe in 2016.
Guzmán is accused of being behind the Sinaloa drug cartel, which prosecutors say was the largest US drug supplier.
Mr Peña Nieto served as the president of Mexico from 2012 to 2018.
Guzmán, 61, has been on trial in Brooklyn since November after he was extradited from Mexico to face charges of trafficking cocaine, heroin and other drugs as leader of what the US has called the world’s largest drug cartel.
The timing of the former Mexican President being connected with Mexican cartels is rather significant.  A former Democrat believes the real reason Democrats don’t want a wall on the US – Mexican border is related to the story above.
Learn more about RevenueStripe...
Jeffrey Peterson says the real reason the Democrats will never support the border wall – is that they are being paid off by the Mexican cartels.

Peterson may very well be right. We know that a big time lawyer for the Mexican cartels donated to Hillary Clinton.  We also know that it was reported that Julian Assange reported that he had evidence that the Clinton Foundation received $15 million from the Mexican cartels.  On 9 January 2017, the web site Times.com.mx published an article reporting that Mexican Drug kingpin Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán had donated millions of dollars to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, claiming that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange had broken the news.

No wonder the Democrats don’t want a wall.  They reportedly are receiving money from the cartels to leave the border open!

Breaking: Top Defense Official Testifies Trump Does Not Need Congress or National Emergency to Build Border Wall (VIDEO)

During a House Armed Services Committee hearing on Tuesday, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy John Rood confirmed that President Trump holds the power to build a border wall with Mexico without Congressional approval or by declaring a national emergency.

Transcript via John Binder at Breitbart:
Mo Brooks: Does 10 U.S.C. § 284 as you understand it, require the declaration of a national emergency before it is implemented?
John Rood: No.
Mo Brooks: It does not?
Rood: No.
Brooks: Has President Trump, to your knowledge, ever used 10 U.S.C § 284 to direct the military to build the wall that is necessary for border security?
Rood: No, not to my knowledge, Congressman.
Brooks: If President Trump were to direct the Pentagon and the United States military pursuant to 10 U.S.C § 284 to build such barriers as are necessary to secure our southern border from drug trafficking and international crime cartels would the United States military obey that order?
Rood: If we judge it to be a lawful order, yes sir. And I assume it would be.

On the Shutdown, Trump Played the Odds

The U.S. federal government (more precisely, only one quarter of the government) was shut down for 36 days.  Opinions of this shutdown, as expected, vary.  In the left camp, a victory is celebrated, and in the right camp, the range of assessments extends from bitterness of defeat (the majority) to cautious optimism like "well, we will see who wins" (a minority).
However, an idea that does not occur to anyone to consider is one of Trump's victory, no matter how unusual it sounds.
Why is this view not considered?  Probably because it is based on the emotional background of the conflict – that is, the personal confrontation between Donald Trump and Nancy Pelosi, who is reveling in her newly acquired power.  However, let's ask ourselves: would Trump's position change if, instead of Pelosi, there was someone else?  Hardly anyone could argue that it was Pelosi who determined Trump's political moves.
In other words, would Trump have initiated a partial government shutdown if someone else owned a gavel in the House of Representatives (Republican, Democrat, or someone else – that doesn't matter anymore)?  Of course he would, because his main strategic task is the wall on the southern border – not just a wall as a barrier, but a wall as a symbol of the sovereignty of the country.
To achieve this goal, Trump needs to drive the opposition into a deliberately uncomfortable corner – so uncomfortable that the opposition will begin to seriously think about its strategic role: either stubborn obstructionism or a constructive opposition.

What can make the Democrats do this?  Only public opinion.  The opposition of Trump and Pelosi should be reconsidered from this point of view – not from the standpoint of the opposition of the gladiator Trump and the gladiator Pelosi, but from the standpoint of winning the sympathies of the spectators in the political Coliseum.  Then the idea of Trump's winning immediately moves from the realm of fantasy to the realm of reality.
For about one month, Trump slowly, step by step, squeezed out from the media narrative all the informational garbage not related to the problem of illegal immigration.  In a month, everything suddenly became secondary: North Korea, Syria, economy, trade wars with China, the unemployment rate, and racial problems.  No one is participating in heated debates over the fact that the number of vacant jobs in America has exceeded the number of unemployed.  Few people outside Washington are interested in the vicissitudes of the Mueller investigation.  Except for small fringe groups, no one raises the issue of impeachment.  Everything has faded into the background except the wall.
As a result, Trump skillfully imposed his agenda on America.  As part of this agenda, there came a clear understanding that two ideologies clashed in Washington – one that aims to turn America into a country akin to Venezuela, and the other to build a wall on the southern border.  The tasks set by these ideologies are serious strategic goals, and Trump's achievement is the political equivalent of a successful reversal of the Titanic right before an iceberg encounter.
Thanks to Trump, no one in America is left with any doubt about the actual positions of the two opposing sides.  It is now clear to all American citizens that the Republicans' position is to close the border and open the government, while the Democrats prefer to open the border and close the government.
Trump has skillfully arranged the scenery for the next stage of political drama.  At the same time, he wisely saved his trump card for the final act, either in the form of a declaration of national emergency,or the wall built by the U.S. Army (the law allows this to be done even without the consent of Congress).  Moreover, the Democrats are unaware: for some reason, they consider the partial government shutdown advantageous for them.  If for the Democrats the upcoming 21 days of negotiations with Trump are a sign of their victory, then for Trump, 21 days of negotiations are the gun on the wall, which, according to Chekhov, must necessarily fire in the third act.
Declaring a state of emergency in America is a fairly frequent thing.  President Obama declared national emergencies 12 times, and President G.W. Bush 13 times.  By law, a national emergency may be declared by the president for only one year, but, as a rule, all presidents extend their own emergency declarations and the emergency declarations of their predecessors.
Trump extended all the emergencies declared by Presidents Obama, Bush, and Clinton.  In addition, Trump extended the national emergency associated with Iran, which President Carter had previously declared.  Currently, there are 31 active national emergencies in the United States.  For reference, the U.S. Congress has the right to cancel a declaration of a national emergency, but only if both houses of Congress vote for it with a two-thirds majority.
The Democrats still haven't realized what happened to them.  It seems that none of them read Machiavelli.  After all, they just had to back down and quietly lose a small (only about 0.1% of the U.S. federal budget) political battle over the wall on the border with Mexico, but at the same time save their entire army of supporters, their entire reputation, and their entire political capital that would enable them to confront Trump in the next stage of political struggle.
The Democrats went all in.  What the Democrats have done is worse than a betrayal of American citizens; this is a mistake.
Note that one of the key players, Mueller, understood what was going on and tried to change the course of the news cycle imposed by Trump.  Mueller's photogenic arrest of Roger Stone had stopped the talk about illegal immigration and the wall for a few hours.  However, this did not last long.
In conclusion, let's remind the Democrats about one of the best known of Murphy's Laws: "If everything seems to be going well, you have overlooked something."

A Further Perspective A Letter to Nick Sandmann of Covington Catholic Ten Days Later

Dear Nick,
It now is some ten days since you unintentionally became famous, and you blessedly no longer are the news outside Covington. But I write to tell you that you are not forgotten for many of us whom you made proud. That includes me, an Orthodox Rabbi.
Obama once said that, if he had had a son, it would have been a boy like Trayvon Martin. Nicholas, I do not doubt that. Not for a moment. I would rather set the boys of CovCath as role models.
Nick, you came with a bunch of other kids from CovCath to Washington, D.C. to march for life and to have some clean fun in the nation’s capital. That is so noble, and that used to be what America is all about: kids getting to visit Washington, D.C., maybe meeting their Congressional representative and getting to sit in the gallery, maybe getting to visit the National Archives, the Smithsonian, the FBI building, Ford’s Theater, the Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Reflecting Pool, the Washington Monument. That was the big visit and family trip that teens all over this country hoped they one day could do with their parents and siblings. And maybe one day, if your red hat’s message of hope and change comes true, we all can make America great again.
On the day of CovCath’s visit, though, you found that all around you, millions of other Americans want the right to tear apart fetuses limb from limb. Women and men who are too tired or lazy to take simple precautions that they learn in California and New York elementary school classes end up causing an unwanted pregnancy and choose to undo their laziness and gross irresponsibility by paying someone to tear apart the fetus later. In the old days, when science was less advanced, they fooled themselves into thinking that a fetus has no life form to it, was just a collection of random cells. But now the science is settled: the heart beats, the body nourishes, the life exists. In a world of Andrew Cuomos and Kermit Gosnells, you came to defend life.
You also came wearing a MAGA hat. Good for you! Some people in this country believe that everyone except for the kids at CovCath has a right to free speech. They cheer high school drop-outs who say “F – – – Trump.” They photograph themselves holding a bloody decapitated head representing the President of the United States. Indeed, the United States Supreme Court has held that free speech even includes the right to burn the American flag and to dance naked at strip clubs. So, Nick, our Founding Fathers gave us the Bill of Rights so that kids at Covington Catholic and others in yeshivas throughout the United States and others who are older and perhaps not even religiously trained may wear a hat that says “Make America Great Again.” Those words are not the fighting words of Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire, 315 U.S. 568 (1942), nor a Brandenburg v. Ohio, 395 U.S. 444 (1969), incitement to imminent lawless action but words of hope and change: hope for a change from the Wasted Obama Decade.
In America we protect the biased Left mediacracy — people like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, the New York Times, and the Washington Post. These people report mostly true on local interest stories like a county fair or a new restaurant, but they intentionally distort and lie deliberately on national public-interest stories. You know that first-hand because you now have experienced it directly. That is why the President calls them “the enemy of the people” — because they are. They deliberately distort the truth and reality of what is happening in order to mislead the public into believing an alternate reality. When Walter Duranty of the same New York Times did that during the Stalin Years, he and theNew York Times contributed to the murder of millions of people who otherwise might have been saved if the truth of the Holodomor had come out. Instead, the people died, murdered by the enemies of the people. The same New York Times in a small way helped Hitler gas, bury, and incinerate millions of Jews during the Holocaust by hiding his crimes from the public. Did you know that the Times ran 23,000 front-page stories from 1939-1945, of which 11,500 were about the World War — but only twenty-six about Hitler’s mistreatment of Jews? Of course these evil villains are the enemies of the people.
This Left Mediacracy had a dilemma this year. You were part of a beautiful gorgeous group of pro-life marchers advocating and defending the lives of the unborn. The Left Media hate that. They even were more upset that the very next day, at the same D.C. where you were, there was to be a disastrous catastrophe for their cause, as the “Women’s March” would be crashing down decimated, attracting perhaps a tenth of the prior year’s turnout, now taken over by anti-Semites, anti-White racists, and woman-haters associated with and loyal to Minister Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam. So the Left Media was dead-set on creating some alternate story at the March for Life where you attended that would be able to distort the weekend narrative.
There is no way on G-d’s earth that anyone could have prepared you for the Crazy America that exists outside Covington. I know Covington very well; I lived a year in Kentucky and spent time in Covington every few weeks. Covington is a beautiful small city. I would bring my kids to see the Carroll Chimes Bell Tower and Clock depicting the Pied Piper of Hamelin in Mainstrasse Village. Nick, the “big shots” in New York City (where I used to live) and in Los Angeles (near where I now live) look down on Kentucky. They think you guys are a bunch of small-town redneck hicks. That is how they myopically view the whole gorgeous state of Kentucky. But that is because they do not know what they do not know. Covington is a beautiful city with beautiful people in a beautiful state. In Manhattan, by contrast, the intellectuals need to have four door locks on their apartment entrances that they have to lock and unlock, one-two-three-four, just to get in and out, because they are afraid of break-ins and being mugged. They have special “police locks” that not only get bolted into their front doors but into the floor, because crooks still break through the other three door locks. It’s like living in “Fauda.” When they travel on their overcrowded, over-priced, always-late, often broken down subways, they keep their eyes shut or focused on the floor because they are taught never to look anyone in the eye since he might be crazy and kill them if he thinks they are looking at him. By contrast, in Covington everyone is friendly and trusting. In Kentucky, people greet strangers openly and welcome outsiders warmly. It is safe to look at people in the eye in Covington. So it turns out that people in Covington are a lot smarter, and New Yorkers are a lot stupider, than either group thinks. In Covington, a country boy can survive.
New Yorkers in the Left Media cannot understand why CovCath boys like you would smile in the faces of people like that lying phony Native American “Vietnam Vet.” That is because in New York they never would have smiled at him in the first place, figuring he might have a knife or a tomahawk, so they would have run away from him. The Left Media do not understand a culture where you actually look people in the eye, smile their way, and stand your ground.
By now, we all know what happened that Friday in D.C. Some crazy, insane Black people who think they are Jews — Black Hebrew Israelites (and, by the way, they are welcome to have George Soros) — came into the area, yelling insults and racial epithets at some Native Americans. You kids from Covington Catholic innocently got caught in the middle of two sets of circus acts. In time, the Black Hebrew Crazies started calling you guys names, too, and the Native American nut with the drum starting marching right up to you, beating his drum, walking closer and closer, until he was beating his drum practically in your face. Really, Nicholas — a dimension of sight and sound, a land of shadow and substance, the teens of CovCath inadvertently stepped into the Twilight Zone.
New Yorkers are trained for situations like that — to start running away: maybe he has a knife, maybe a gun, maybe a hatchet. But you are from Covington, so you proudly stood your ground. You did not back away. You demonstrated the best of the Covington Catholic education you have gotten by standing your ground and just smiling at him. That smile said: “I am here in peace. I am not going to be incited into escalating your menacing confrontation. So you can go on beating that stupid drum of yours all day, Ringo, but I am not going to back off, nor will I be drawn into a fight. Because I am here to support life and the rights of the unborn.”
Besides, how could you even know what or who he is? An Indian? But he does not even look like Elizabeth Warren.
Nick, this country became a very nasty place during the Wasted Obama Decade. Obama destroyed something precious that we Americans had. We had become a post-racial society where people finally were not being judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. Obama destroyed that, but as you know he never quite impacted northeastern Kentucky. That indeed is why so many of us hope that somehow we will yet be able to make America great again. You got a taste of how nasty it can get when you leave Covington and walk into the swamp of Washington, D.C. But we got a taste by watching your dignified stance of what the Other America is, the America we remember from before the Obama Wasted Decade.
By now, all of America knows that the loon who banged his drum in your face has a shady past. He claimed to be a Vietnam Veteran, and that now turns out to be a lie. Although his lie is the kind that can get you elected United States Senator from Connecticut, tens of millions now do not trust his forked tongue. And we have seen the full videos. We trust our own eyes and ears. So take heart, Nicholas. You did fine. A good, clean, wonderful life lies ahead of you.
A few final thoughts:
1. Do not be concerned that this incident will leave you disadvantaged later in life. Yes, it will be on the internet, but you emerged as the winner.
2. If anyone in your future ever chooses to deny you an opportunity based on the incident, count yourself blessed that you will have been spared any future engagement with such a prejudiced bigot and fool.
3. Learn now in your teen years that Facebook and Twitter and Instagram are far more evil than they are good. They spread lies, and they destroy lives. They motivate young people to kill themselves in despair. They spread defamation. Most people who post on those platforms — not all, but most — are people whose opinions do not matter one whit. They are people with “followers” who never actually would follow them anywhere, and with “likes” from people who do not actually like them. Their cheap shots at you mean nothing. Learn to make a life away from social media, a real life.
4. When interviewers at NBC and elsewhere ask you whether maybe you have something to apologize for, just say “No.” If they ask again, “Are you sure that you do not want to apologize to someone?” just respond with that sweet smile and silent gaze. They won’t ask a third time.
5. You and your classmates never should have been criticized by your local Diocese. The Diocese embarrassed itself nationally when they instantly criticized CovCath kids without having the facts. That was a national disgrace, doing unto you guys what they would not have wanted others to do unto them. Lev. 11. If they must publicly criticize a Catholic, let them pick on someone their own size and comment instead on New York Governor Cuomo’s new “Gosnell Law” that legalizes tearing the limbs of fetuses apart, limb by limb, as late as nine months into pregnancy. But tell them to bang the drum slowly.

Flipping, flopping, backtracking, Kamala Harris just isn't ready for prime time

Just one day after she formally announced her presidential bid in Oakland to big crowds and applause, Kamala Harris is already on her back foot, flip-flopping on a major campaign stance right out the gate.  Monday, she said this, causing a lot of murmuring among Democrats who distanced themselves from her sweeping pie-in-the-sky proposals.  According to CNN:
Sen. Kamala Harris of California renewed the party's debate over single-payer health care in a CNN town hall Monday, saying she's willing to end private insurance, which more than 170 million Americans use.
"We need to have Medicare-for-all," said Harris. "Who of us has not had that situation, where you've got to wait for approval and the doctor says well, 'I don't know if your insurance company is going to cover this.' Let's eliminate all of that.  Let's move on."
Tuesday, she had some second thoughts.  CNN reports:
As the furor grew, a Harris adviser on Tuesday signaled that the candidate would also be open to the more moderate health reform plans, which would preserve the industry, being floated by other congressional Democrats.

Oh.  Maybe something like this was going on:
This makes her look pretty wretched and puppety.  Did she actually think this "me as president" idea through?
Doesn't sound like it.  You want to propose something crazy and sweeping, you'd better be prepared to defend the idea if you care about your credibility.  Yet she backtracked on her proposal for single-payer health insurance one day after she made it, to say that, well, no, she didn't really mean to say everyone's health insurance should be taken away and everyone in the health insurance industry should be put out of work.  Because those were the implications of her big campaign proposal, which drew big initial applause from the peanut gallery and widespread disgust among the more sober-minded public.
Howie Schultz shot that idea down like a marksman.
Schultz recalled a clip previously aired of Senator Harris supporting Medicare for all by saying "she wants to abolish the insurance industry."
"That's not correct. That's not American," Schultz said.  "What's next?  What industry are we going to abolish next?  The coffee industry?"
Schultz is a nice, mild-mannered guy, but you can call this former Starbucks CEO "The Kamala Slayer" for the ease with which he dispatched Harris's half-baked ideas so touted with a straight face in the corrupted and uncritical Beltway press hive.
At least Schultz knows how the real world works.  Harris, who's never held a non-government sinecure in her entire charmed life, never ran anything.  She got ahead politically through her relationship with California political fixer Willie Brown.
Now she's backtracking on her biggest proposal, a government takeover of health care, saying she's still "committed" to health care for all by other means, as if President Obama didn't already declare that war won with his if-you-like-your-doctor Obamacare reform.  Tired Obamacare regurgitation?  That's all she has left now.  Don't think that's going to work.
This brings up the real point here: she's not ready for prime time.  A flip-flop of this magnitude is perfect evidence she doesn't think anything through.  She plays to the crowds, promises the sky, and then gets thin-skinned when the crowd sours or someone with brains thinks about the implications of her sweeping proposals.  She wants us to vote for her based on her looks.
This isn't the only evidence she's not ready for the presidency.  Take a look at what's being said on Twitter.
Here's another sweeping yet half-baked proposal that Howie Schultz or some other Democrat is going to have a good time shooting as another fish in the barrel:
Obviously, it's a pattern, so the message to come is that she doesn't think anything through.
In fact, the Twitterati notice she's more about ego than anything else.
She's also thin-skinned and can't take heat.
In this instance, one wonders if she was the class tattletale, too.
The thin skin is no joke.  Here's an instance where she commandeered her press allies to delete a perfectly accurate and neutral tweet, which they obliged her on.
After getting pushback from Sen. Kamala Harris’s (D-CA) campaign, CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski on Tuesday evening deleted an accurate tweet about how Harris backtracked on her call to “eliminate” private health insurance and provide Medicare for all.
She can't take the heat.
And it's making her a figure of fun:
Thin skin and ego don't mix well with ridicule, so expect more to come for #HorizontalHarris.
Bottom line: She's not ready.  The other Democratic candidates are going to have a ball with her.
Sorry, Kamala – get back to your acting.  Willie Brown is sure to have more "advice."
