What about all that has paid off their loans. do they get re embursed? Someone has to pay this if this was to happen. Myself and any other taxpayer should not be responsible for anybody that signed on the line for the loan that can't afford it.
Congress does not have the authority without going through the courts to cancel a legal signed contract with an institution. Warren and the Left again are economic IDIOTS!

Angry members of the left are attacking Elon Musk for his Twitter purchase, accusing the world’s richest man of not paying his fair share in taxes. Sensible folks on Twitter were quick to share the fact that Musk paid $11 billion in taxes last year —the largest tax bill in U.S. history, according to CNBC. But Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is still going after him.
“This deal is dangerous for our democracy. Billionaires like Elon Musk play by a different set of rules than everyone else, accumulating power for their own gain. We need a wealth tax and strong rules to hold Big Tech accountable,” Warren tweeted.
