CitizenFreePress, a heavily trafficked news aggregation site, was suspended from Twitter this week after sharing a video of former president Barack Obama campaigning in Ohio in 2008.
Obama is seen in the video telling a crowd in Philadelphia, Ohio boasting about Democrats controlling the election voting machines.

Barack Obama: “I tell you what, it helps in Ohio that we got Democrats in charge of the machines. But look, I come from Chicago so I want to be honest. It’s not as if it’s just Republicans who have monkeyed around with elections in the past, sometimes Democrats have too. Whenever people are in power they have this tendency to try to, you know, tilt things in their direction.”
The Gateway Pundit reported on this video days ago.
CitizenFressPress, a publication that launched in 2016 and “attracted over 209 million page views in October” was not the only account to have shared the clip, though appears to be the only one that has received a suspension for doing so, The National Pulse reports.

“Though the video can still be viewed on Elon Musk’s platform, it now carries a warning label which claims the video is “misleading,” as well as noting that the clip can no longer be replied to, shared, or liked,”the publication notes.
Despite getting censored on Musk’s platform for showcasing Obama’s admission about being able to “tilt” voting machines “in their direction,” Citizen’s Free Press editor who goes by the name “Kane” issued a statement touting his support of Elon Musk.
“We absolutely love what Elon is doing at Twitter. We support his effort 100 percent. We view this as an unfortunate mistake, that will hopefully be corrected with urgency. We would like the suspension to be reversed and removed from our permanent record at Twitter, so the CFP account is not blackmarked going forward.
“We also understand that Elon is going through hell right now at Twitter HQ, and we appreciate that he never stops fighting. He’s one of us.”

Liberals celebrities left Twitter after Musk took control of the social media platform, while free speech advocates have heralded Musk’s acquisition of the company.
Yet, the billionaire has yet to reinstate hundreds of accounts that were removed from Twitter the platform as tech giants censored free speech and interfered with US elections, including former President Donald Trump and The Gateway Pundit’s accounts.
As the Gateway Pundit reported, Musk officially announced that InfoWars host Alex Jones will not be allowed on Twitter.
Musk asked his 117 Million followers on Saturday, “What should Twitter do next?”

“Bring back Alex Jones.”
“No,” Musk definitely shot back.

To date, Kathie Griffin, Jordan Peterson and the Babylon Bee are among the high-profile accounts reinstated on Twitter since Musk took over the platform.
On Friday, the Twitter CEO also announced new policies regarding “hate speech” on the platform.
“New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach,” Musk tweeted.

“Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter. You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from rest of Internet,” he added.
