2. Joe Biden
According to The Washington Times , Vice President Joseph Biden recently joined Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta, former Chief of Staff Richard Daley and five Democratic senators in opposition to the President's universal female-contraception requirements. Way to go, Joe.
The Affordable Care Act, or ObamaCare, has been extremely divisive from the start, facing enormous criticism from the right. Now, even the party that created it is questioning its worth.
As they are finally beginning to see the actual implications of ObamaCare, Democratic leaders and citizens from across the country are beginning to jump ship. They seem to be especially concerned about the individual mandate, the “death panel”, and the measures that are already encouraging employers to hire fewer full-time workers. Even more, Democratic leaders are getting nervous about appeasing their constituents, as many of them face tough re-elections in districts that are increasingly speaking out against the health care law.
I predict even more Dems will bail on Obamacare before long. It’s just too bad they didn’t notice these issues before they voted it into law.
