A couple of flag burners (Yes… It’s become that common), were shut down recently when they decided to mark the 90th anniversary of Malcolm X’s birth. Wait till you get a load of this…
The group of idiots thought they were making a difference while holding up a large “Black Lives Matter” banner all while burning the American flag in Queensboro Bridge and the Queens Midtown Tunnel (pictures below):
An organizer of the event said the action was a part of nationwide “events” meant to celebrate the life and work of Malcolm X, who unlike MLK, is not honored by an official holiday.
Here are a couple tweets from the area as it all unfolded:
Thinks he's Captain Snake Shit!
You might not be able to make out what they are saying at first, but if you watch that video above over and over again, you can make out a couple phrases:
“That’s offensive to me. Burning the flag… I spent 12 years protecting that flag!”
Whatever side of the race game you might be on, and whatever you might think of#BlackLivesMatter, we can all align ourselves to one thing:
Don’t mess with the flag. It might just be THREAD and cloth to you, but to us REAL Americans, it’s a symbol of livelihood, hard work, and freedom.
When you burn an American flag, and say “Black Lives Matter”, you are also saying: Black Lives Matter, but troops lives DONT!
