An 18-year-old white teenager could have easily lost his life while being viciously beaten unconscious one night by a group of thugs who attacked him for no reason.
Nearby surveillance footage showed the entire incident, in which three thugs, identified as Michael Nichols, 26, Sean Buchanan, 24, and James Currie, 18, simultaneously attacked the white teen, reportedly because they were trying to avenge their friend who was involved in an incident earlier in the day.
But the victim, according to police, had absolutely nothing to do with their friend’s incident. As the victim tried to explain that to the group of thugs as they approached, Nichols could be clearly seen throwing a brutal punchthat knocked the white teen out cold.
Perhaps even more disturbing was the fact that multiple onlookers did absolutely nothing about it when the thugs began their senseless attack. Elyria Police Capt. Chris Costantino reported that someone finally did call 911, but the caller hasn’t been identified.
The attack took place in the middle of an apartment complex. After the men stomped on the victim’s chest and head, the victim’s girlfriend rushed to the scene, cradling her beaten boyfriend while police were on the way.
All three thugs were eventually arrested, two by U.S. Marshals. The thug who threw the punch that knocked the victim out was arrested at a hospital Wednesday.
Thankfully, the victim is reported to be in good health after a brief stay at a local hospital. He told a local news reporter that he doesn’t remember anything about the attack (H/T Defund).
