Desperation: Trump opponents float a 25 year old rape allegation by his ex

This kind of reminds you of the Pond Scum or Pig Shit in the media if you will tried to investigate Scott Walkers  grade School  coaches on behalf of the Obama propaganda  outlet!     Desperate!

The Trump Circus has just become "R" rated as the Daily Beast has published a 25 year old allegation of rape by Trump's ex wife Ivana.
The article quotes a graphic description of the "rape" from the 1993 book  Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump. American Thinker being a family website, we will not reproduce any of the account here. Besides, we're not in the business of spreading falsehoods, except to violently criticize them.
That said, Michael Cohen, Trump's Special Counsel at The Trump Organization, had some interesting comments for the Daily Beast reporters who wrote the hit piece:
“I will make sure that you and I meet one day while we’re in the courthouse. And I will take you for every penny you still don’t have. And I will come after your Daily Beast and everybody else that you possibly know,” Cohen said. “So I’m warning you, tread very fu**ing lightly, because what I’m going to do to you is going to be fu**ing disgusting. You understand me?”
“You write a story that has Mr. Trump’s name in it, with the word ‘rape,’ and I’m going to mess your life up… for as long as you’re on this frickin’ planet… you’re going to have judgments against you, so much money, you’ll never know how to get out from underneath it,” he added.
That lawyer - not connected to the campaign - is doing Trump no favors. He should have said "No comment" or referred the reporters to the campaign press office. As it is, he looks much the bully and worse - a legal thug.
The Daily Beast smear is as predictable as April showers. Trump opponents can't attack his record because he doesn't have one. So, they dig into his past and come up with this outrageous incident that Ivana Trump later clarified, saying she didn't want her words interpreted in a  "literal or criminal sense.” The accusation came in the middle of a contentious divorce of a very rich man whose wife wanted a sizable slice of his wealth.
But Trump opponents, desperate to bring him down, have descended into the gutter to pull up this slimy accusation from a quarter century ago. The Daily Beast will probably get a lot of clicks as a result of the piece, but it's doubtful it will change anyone's opinion of The Donald.
