The left is always on the wrong side of an issue.
Here are just two recent examples. In a second I’ll make it three.
Example 1: Planned Parenthood is exposed like never before through a brilliant undercover sting operation. The left’s response? Demonize the messenger and target him with legal action.
Never mind that growing babies inside the womb are being poisoned, dismembered, crushed, squeezed, yanked, ripped, torn apart, sucked out with a vacuum, and killed? And never mind that for some once living babies it doesn’t end there as their butchered bodies are then put through a strainer, poured into glass pie plates, and picked through with tweezers, while ghoulish Planned Parenthood employees laugh and joke and exclaim while looking at the mangled mess of blood and body parts, “It’s a baby!” and “Another boy!”
Example 2: As we are on the verge of handing Iran nukes on a silver platter, Iran reasserts its desire to destroy us. What does the left do? They celebrate “the deal” as a “diplomatic masterpiece” and are pleased with Obama’s “outreach.”
Never mind that Iran wants to pick up where Hitler left off, has murdered thousands of Americans, currently holds four Americans hostage, is the largest state sponsor of terror in the world, and wants to destroy the United States.
Example 3: Now we have the prospect of Cmdr. Timothy White, the naval officer who engaged and shot at the Chattanooga jihadist (otherwise known as a garden variety “extremist” in Obama’s twisted world) facing a possible investigation which could lead to disciplinary action against him. Navy Times reports:
A Navy officer and a Marine fired their sidearms hoping to kill or subdue the gunman who murdered five service members last week in Chattanooga, Tennessee, according to multiple military officials familiar with internal reporting on the tragedy.
It remains unclear whether either hit Muhammad Abdulazeez, who was shot and killed on July 16 after he gunned down four Marines and a sailor at the Navy Operational Support Center in Chattanooga. It's also unclear why they were armed, as it is against Defense Department policy for anyone other than military police or law enforcement to carry weapons on federal property.
A report distributed among senior Navy leaders during the shooting's aftermath said Lt. Cmdr. Timothy White, the support center's commanding officer, used his personal firearm to engage Abdulazeez, Navy Times confirmed with four separate sources. A Navy official also confirmed a Washington Post report indicating one of the slain Marines may have been carrying a 9mm Glock and possibly returned fire on the gunman. (snip)
A service member inside the building saw Abdulazeez approaching and fired at hit, Reinhold said. The investigator's description of this incident matches account of White's actions that day, as relayed by officials close to the investigation to Navy Times. The gunman shot back and then proceeded inside. (snip)
When the shooting first started, troops inside the building went room to room to rush their colleagues to safety, said Maj. Gen. Paul W. Brier, commanding general of the 4th Marine Division. Then, some rushed back into the fight.
Two guns belonging to service members were recovered at the scene, he said; shots were fired from at least one. It's unclear if the gunman was hit by one of those weapons, Reinhold said. The military will investigate whether the service members were authorized to have those weapons, he said.
Got it? Rules and regulations (insane rules I might add) trump life-saving heroism.
What next? Let me try to imagine.
How about this? Maybe Obama will opine about being president for a third term.
Never mind. He already did that.
C’mon! Could the left be so insane they might propose an amendment to pave the way for Obama to have a third term? That would be: yes. They did that. More than once.
Hmm. It’s hard to outpace these guys.
Here’s an idea: John Kerry will say something outrageous. (He rather often does.) Perhaps he’ll suggest that despite relentless calls from Iran for “death to America!” he does not believe they intend to inflict any harm.
Oops. Been there. Done That. Yes, Kerry is that stupid, complicit, manipulative, and evil.
Huh. Turns out, that seems to be the case.
I give up. It’s apparently quite difficult to come up with outlandish, irrational, self-destructive, illegal, malicious, corrupt, and/or deadly idea leftists haven’t already thought up.
And they’re not done.
They’re never done.
