In an op-ed written for The Guardian, George Soros, the billionaire whose hands are in dark political dealings worldwide, says that Donald Trump and Ted Cruz want Americans to be scared of terrorists because they can profit off of us.
The op-ed talks about how the most open societies are always the most in danger: the more freedom a society has, the more outside forces will seek to take advantage of or destroy that freedom. Soros writes that jihadi groups like ISIS and Al-Qaeda have discovered that Western societies fear death more than anything (as if the “West” is the only group of people scared of ISIS).
This fear, Soros argues, causes people to act irrationally and erratically, and so not only is a free society at risk from outside forces, but from within as well, if citizens choose to act poorly on fear. The wrong response, says Soros, is to act on anti-Muslim fear and threaten innocents in the country, because that’s exactly what enemies of an open society want. Soros says he had to resist the temptation to act irrationally himself when he watched the last Republican debate.
Soros says at the end of the article that “we must reaffirm our commitment to the principles of open society and resist the siren song of the likes of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, however hard that may be.”
Strange how this is coming from George Soros, whose money has destabilized entire economies, who has funded groups that have caused violence. Indeed, it was George Soros who funded the Ferguson, Missouri protests. If he’s so against acting irrationally, why does he pour billions of dollars into funding things that encourage acting irrationally?
It’s nothing more than lip service for the liberals from a wealthy puppet master who has been behind enough instability.
