TERROR IN NYC: 8 Dead After Man In Truck SHOOTS & RAMS Pedestrians — *SHOUTED ALLAH AKBAR* (GRAPHIC VIDEO)

According to reports, multiple people have been shot in Manhattan after a man driving a truck ran over pedestrians. One suspect is in NYPD custody. 8 people are dead.

“Police responding to unfolding incident in Lower Manhattan; at least one person in custody, NYPD says,” reported ABC News.
“8 dead, multiple injuries in NYC truck incident, according to law enforcement source; act was intentional,” reports CBS News.
The incident is being investigated as a terror attack.
An eyewitness describes the scene to CBS News, saying “I saw a truck – a white pick-up truck – going down the bicycle lane & running people over.”
A gunman opened fire from a Home Depot truck that apparently plowed down four riders on a bike path Tuesday off the Hudson River in Lower Manhattan, eyewitnesses said.
The NYPD reported one man was in custody after initial reports of gunfire set off a mad scramble in the downtown area.
Witnesses reported seeing a gunman firing from inside a Home Depot tuck, and video showed a truck from the home improvement store sitting on a median.
“He shot about 15 times toward the pier and down West St.” one witness told the Daily News. There was no immediate word on deaths or injuries, although witnesses said two bodies were covered with blankets at the scene.
There is no active threat, according to the mayor’s press secretary.
