This is a young boy that was refused permission to set up this tribute to the fallen inside the cemetery, with a Fallen Soldiers table. Undaunted, he set up across the street and this is what you see. To eyes that know what to look for, you see his pride and respect that screams from this silent tribute. The blousing of the trousers, the free hand with fingers along the seam, elbow rigid and forearm at 45 degrees and his back is straight. The fingers just right touching his Marine cover.
These are things that can be taught and they clearly were here but if it's not in his heart, they will not shine through as they clearly do here. The determination to do what he knows is right even when turned away. To show with his actions what so many others will never learn or even understand.
