Senator Bernie Sanders doubled-down Monday on his CoVID relief package during the global pandemic; urging the federal government to distribute $1200 checks to all “working-class adults” living in the United States.

“The most effective way to keep Americans out of poverty is providing every working-class adult $1,200 and $500 for their kids. 75% of Americans want Congress to prioritize these payments in COVID-19 relief—far above everything else. Congressional leadership must listen to them,” posted Sanders on social media.

 

The far-left Senator raised eyebrows earlier this month when he suggested Speaker Nancy Pelosi had delayed CoVID relief bills for political purposes.
