Bottom line as stated. The President (any) can declassify documents on the way out. FBI has no authority to say what he can and can't declassify. Where they looking for 'Dirt" Trump had on "Operation Crossfire"?
IT WAS ALL DECLASSIFIED.

The FBI is not above a US President.
President Trump on Friday responded to the latest Deep State FBI leak.
The Deep State FBI leaked the contents of the boxes of documents they took in the raid on President Trump’s home on Monday night.

According to the anonymous leak to The Wall Street Journal the items included:
** 20 boxes of items
** 11 sets of classified documents
** Top secret documents
** Sensitive Compartmented documents
** Binders of photos
** Clemency order for Roger Stone
** Information about the “President of France”
** A handwritten note
Trump responded to the latest leak in a series of posts to his Truth Social page.
“Number one, it was all declassified. Number two, they didn’t need to “seize” anything. They could have had it anytime they wanted without playing politics and breaking into Mar-a-Lago. It was in secured storage, with an additional lock put on as per their request…” Trump said.
“…They could have had it anytime they wanted—and that includes LONG ago. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS ASK. The bigger problem is, what are they going to do with the 33 million pages of documents, many of which are classified, that President Obama took to Chicago?” Trump added.

The Washington Post on Thursday published a ‘leak’ from so-called government officials who claimed the FBI searched Trump’s Florida residence for classified records related to nuclear weapons.
The FBI raid was so urgent that the US government waited for more than a year-and-a-half after Trump left office to search for records related to ‘nuclear weapons.’
This is merely an excuse for the FBI’s abuse of power.
President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence was outfitted with a SCIF [Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility].

Furthermore, according to the search warrant obtained by Breitbart News, US Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart signed off on the search warrant on Aug. 5, 2022 but the FBI didn’t conduct the raid until August 8.
If this was such an urgent matter (it wasn’t) then why did the FBI wait for several days until they descended on Trump’s home?

All of this is technically irrelevant anyway because Trump–who as president has original and absolute declassification authority–said he declassified all of these documents. “Number one, it was all declassified,” Trump said on Truth Social moments ago. “Number two, they didn’t need to ‘seize’ anything.
