Guess what , Lying again, Nothing new from these Scumbags! Then the Garbage media carries on the lie
Democrats and their media allies launched a coordinated disinformation campaign this week, attempting to pin the blame for stalled pediatric cancer research funding on Elon Musk and President Donald Trump. The reality, however, reveals a much different story.
For months, the GOP-controlled House has been ahead of the curve, passing a comprehensive funding bill for pediatric cancer research back in March.
But Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s Democratic-controlled Senate let the legislation languish for nine months—only taking action after being exposed.
The firestorm began when a 1,500-page Democrat-Johnson continuing resolution (CR) packed with unrelated pork was shelved following public criticism from Musk and Trump, who vowed to challenge any Republican voting for the bloated measure.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wasted no time launching an unfounded attack, claiming that Musk was single-handedly responsible for blocking pediatric cancer funding.
“Republicans are marching America to a painful government shutdown that will crash the economy and hurt working class Americans because they would rather enact massive tax cuts for their billionaire donors than fund cancer research for children,” Jeffries told the press.
WATCH:
The Democrat propaganda machine was in full swing, with left-wing media figures amplifying the narrative. MSNBC reporter Sam Stein falsely claimed, “Pediatric cancer research advocates spent years building up to this week. They celebrated when their priorities were included in the CR [Continuing Resolution]. And then, Elon began tweeting.”
Lying Pocahontas Sen. Elizabeth Warren joined the smear campaign, absurdly tweeting that Musk and Republicans were actively blocking funding for child cancer research.
“We now know what it looks like when Elon Musk calls for “government efficiency.” For starters? Cuts to funding for child cancer research. I wish I were making that up,” she wrote.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez didn’t miss her chance to pile on, claiming, “They’re cutting healthcare to kids because Elon gets his money from Defense contracts so they’ll never touch the military budget.”
Here’s the truth the Democrats and their media allies don’t want you to know: The House GOP passed a standalone pediatric cancer research funding bill in March.
However, it was Schumer’s Senate that stalled the bill for nearly a year, holding it hostage for leverage in broader budget negotiations.
The H.R.3391, the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0, was passed by the House of Representatives on March 5, 2024, with an overwhelming majority vote of 384-4.
The bill reauthorizes the Kids First Pediatric Research Program at the National Institutes of Health with authorized funding of $12.6 million annually from 2024 to 2028.
Despite initial support, the bill remained stalled for several months in Chuck Schumer’s Senate.
Interestingly after being exposed, the U.S. Senate has unanimously passed H.R. 3391, the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0, by voice vote.
