If you tell a lie big enough...

 By all indications, Cole Allen was aboard the Trump Derangement Syndrome train and believed every lie coming from the conductor.

We’ve studied the manipulation of public opinion.  A good example was Joseph Goebbels who purportedly said:  “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”

Enter Cole Allen, the man arrested Saturday night who allegedly wanted to kill some Trump administration officials.  By all indications, Cole was aboard the Trump Derangement Syndrome train and believed every lie coming from the conductor.

For the third time, an assassin Saturday night came far too close to killing President Donald Trump.

And in what’s starting to seem like a pattern, the suspect was clearly a radicalized lefty.

Thank God, no one was seriously injured this time. But is this what the left wants?

Because sane, democracy-loving Americans are beginning to wonder: What will it take to get lefty pols and media to quit their sick, dangerous accusations about Trump, which are surely fueling the hostility and deadly violence?

‘I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,’ ranted suspected would-be assassin Cole Allen in his manifesto — with its clear reference to Trump.

So here we go again.  A well educated young man with a huge future ahead of him gets addicted to a wild radical idea that Trump is this or that.  What you read in this “manifesto” is about what you would expect to hear from the craziest wing of the Democrat party.  Mr. Allen’s message was full of all of the unfounded accusations we’ve heard before, plus his conclusion that it’s time to save the land by killing everything Trump and as many helping him to govern.

It’s sad but that’s where the country is.  Once upon a time, one could count on the late Senator Lieberman to push back on this garbage.  Today, it’s Senator Fetterman, but how much can a junior senator do?  It would be nice if a candidate for president, such as a Governor Shapiro, would raise a voice and end this, but he is probably afraid of a primary too.

So the country moves on and who knows where the next one will come from?  I don’t know, but I’m sure that there is a manifesto somewhere full of all of this garbage coming from their side.

First France, then Britain, now Germany is being conquered by Islam without firing a shot

 

Even the hamburger chain McDonalds has been forced to submit to Islamic rules.

“Germany, fully conquered by Islam, it would appear. A ridiculous capitulation by McDonald’s in Europe, the fast food chain in Germany banning all depictions of food in daytime advertising so as not to tempt Muslims during the month of Ramadan, when they have to fast from sunup to sundown.

Between 5.3 and 5.6 million people in Germany are Muslim. This makes Muslims Germany’s largest religious minority – and the fastest growing.

Washington Times In Germany, the party usually described as far-right — Alternative for Germany (AfD) — doubled its share of the vote in the recent elections, from 9% in 2021 to 20.2%. It’s now the nation’s second-largest party. The ruling socialist party of Chancellor Olaf Scholz came in third with just 16%, its worst showing since the end of World War II.

The centrist-conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU) had a plurality with 28.8%. Its leader, Friedrich Mertz, has announced he will form a coalition with the socialists rather than AfD, which shows how much Europe’s conservative parties really care about policy.

Germany’s principal problems are immigration and Islam. The tragedy was set into motion by Chancellor Angela Merkel. In 2015, Ms. Merkel took in 1.2 million refugees from Syria to satisfy a misguided humanitarian impulse and bolster an economy short of workers.

Today, Germany accepts half of all European mostly Muslim asylum-seekers — 300,000 in 2023. Last year, the number of migrants seeking government benefits increased by 169%. Although they didn’t aid Germany’s sagging economy, migrants have made jihad a part of daily life in the Federal Republic.

The past few months have brought high-profile migrant attacks in Munich, Magdeburg and Aschaffenburg. A December car-ramming at a Christmas market in Magdeburg left 10 dead and 34 injured. Knife attacks have become daily occurrences in Germany, with 14,000 reported from 2021 through 2023. Though they represent 2.5% of the population, migrants committed 13.1% of all sexual assaults in 2021.

Hitler said privately in his close circles that he wished Islam had reached Europe first rather than Christianity because it would have been more compatible with Germanic people.

As author Douglas Murray pointed out in “The Strange Death of Europe,” the continent is committing suicide by a combination of unchecked immigration and abandonment of its Judeo-Christian heritage. The 2004 European Union Constitution does not mention Christianity for a continent known as Christendom for more than 1,000 years.

Nature abhors a vacuum, whether political or religious. Every two weeks, another church closes in France and another mosque opens. There are now more than 2,500 mosques in Charles Martel’s land. Mr. Murray notes that from 2001 to 2011, the number of Britons identifying as Christians fell from 72% to 59%. The official number of Muslims in England and Wales rose from 1.5 million to 2.7 million in that period. Illegal immigration puts the number much higher, and London has had a Muslim mayor since 2016.

If immigration isn’t enough, Europe is committing demographic suicide. The German fertility rate is 1.35 children per woman, well below the replacement level of 2.1. It’s 1.2 in Italy and 1.62 in France. In 2017, the fertility rate for Muslim women in Britain and France was 2.9. The cradle is as much a symbol of jihad as the sword.

Projections for 2050 indicate that Germany is expected to have the largest Muslim population in Europe, reaching an estimated 17.49 million people, or 19.7 percent of its total population.

In a recent article for the Jewish News Syndicate, Joseph Puder charges: “The streets of major Western European cities are occupied territories” run by “radical Muslim gangs who harbor a hatred for Western culture and believe Islam is the answer for all and bear a visceral and violent hatred for Israel and Jews.”

The type of antisemitic outrages symbolized by Kristallnacht during the Third Reich are now regular occurrences from London to Berlin. This summer, thousands of Muslims marched through London shouting, “Jews, the Army of Muhammed is coming to kill you too.” The British government, which arrests Christians for witnessing in public, ignored this.

Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, who is also called far right, has said: “Above all, we need to recover awareness of who we are. As Western people, we have a duty to keep this promise and seek the answer to the problems of the future by having faith in our values: a synthesis born out of the meeting of Greek philosophy, Roman law and Christian humanism.” Europe’s “far-right” parties should take Ms. Meloni’s advice.

Alternative for Germany has some dubious support, but at least it’s sounding the alarm. Sometimes, you have to take your allies where you find them. As Winston Churchill said during World War II, “If Hitler invaded hell, I would make at least a favorable reference to the Devil in the House of Commons.”

Now We Know What ‘Maximum Warfare, Everywhere, All the Time’ Means

Maximum violence, minimum accountability.

On Wednesday of last week, Hakeem Temu Obama Jeffries, the hand-talking cretin who serves as the Democrats’ leader in the House of Representatives, declared after the Virginia gerrymandering bill passed by a close margin (before being immediately blocked by a judge based on its manifest legal infirmities) that his party was to engage in “Maximum Warfare, Everywhere, All The Time” against President Trump, the Republican Party and its supporters.

And then, almost as if by magic, on Saturday, we got a demonstration of Maximum Warfare, when a would-be assassin who looks a little like Hakeem Jeffries and believes all the same things Jeffries does, rushed the security cordon of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner armed with a pistol, a rifle, and a couple of knives. Cole Allen, the failed murderer, was a teacher and activist Democrat from Torrance, California; his manifesto, released on the advent of his commencement of Maximum Warfare against the Trump administration, makes him out to be a garden-variety leftist whose views track almost line for line with what’s said on CNN and MSNOW, not to mention in the pages of The Atlantic and the Huffington Post. (RELATED: Why Assassins Almost Always Go After Republicans)

Cole Allen is less extreme than Hasan Piker. And certainly less extreme than Jamie Raskin. And yet there he was, mostly naked and fully disarmed on the carpet of the Washington Hilton following his failed attempt at John Wilkes Booth/Charles Guiteau/Leon Czolgosz-style immortality, almost bizarrely still alive and primed for sure Luigi Mangione treatment by the modern Democrat Party. (RELATED: CNN and Taylor Lorenz Exposed Their Motivation)

And when that earned him the ratio of a lifetime, he vomited this forth…

One can’t help but be reminded of 2017, when a Bernie Bro loser from Illinois named James Hodgkinson, who had volunteered for Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign the previous year, brought a rifle to Washington, staked out the Republican congressional baseball team’s practice sessions, and then did what he could to harvest as many of the participants as possible.

Hodgkinson damn near killed Steve Scalise, and he shot a couple of security people, before somebody turned his lights out. Why?

Well, maybe it was because he followed a leftist politician who traipsed all over the country demanding a “political revolution in this country.”

Which is a whole lot like “Maximum Warfare, Everywhere, All The Time.” You generally don’t get revolutions without pretty demonstrative, consistent, ruthless effort, you know. And to Hodgkinson, who was a moron but not so stupid that he couldn’t understand English, a “political revolution” meant shooting the people in charge of the status quo.

Bernie Sanders was allowed to take to the Senate floor and lie, saying that “I abhor political violence.” Horseshit. If he did, he wouldn’t have called for a revolution. Revolutions are by their nature violent, and he damned well knows that — after all, Sanders’ international communist friends had all come to power in violent revolutions and he was perfectly cool with those.

A sane society would have held Sanders responsible for Hodgkinson and made an example of him. If not hanging him as a traitor, then at least drumming him out of political office and prosecuting him for every little thing that could be found on him (treason being on the table as one such thing).

But that wasn’t done. And nine years later, we have the political party Sanders refuses to join when he’s not trying to abscond with its presidential nomination, adopting all of his rhetoric — political as well as policy.

It’s a Marxist-Leninist — actually Maoist — political party now. And as one of its chief message-makers, Anita Dunn, once lectured, Mao’s lesson is that political power comes from the barrel of a gun.

Today’s Democrats don’t abhor political violence. They like it. So long as they’re its wielders and not its victims, they find it highly useful. (RELATED: Five Quick Things: The Wrath of the Savages)

If they actually abhorred it, don’t you think they’d already be dropping their opposition to full funding for the Department of Homeland Security in order that all of its branches would be at full strength?

Would they put up with Jimmy Kimmel’s below-the-belt shot at Melania Trump that she had the “glow of an expectant widow” following the Cole Allen assassination attempt? Nobody in the Democrat Party had anything negative to say about that, despite Melania’s fuming outrage, and the leftist suits at Disney sure didn’t bat an eye.

And then there was this, not from Temu Obama but from Real McCoy Obama…

That came on Sunday afternoon, well after Allen’s manifesto was all over the internet and his political leanings and motives were well known.

You don’t condemn political violence by pretending not to know where it came from. That’s an excuse for it, not a condemnation. We’ve put up with this dodge whereby Democrats, every time their assassination-porn rhetoric results in one of their crazies doing what they’ve been weaponized to do, follow behind them with “this is a problem on both sides.”

After spending two decades screaming that it’s “right-wing extremism,” which is the chief terrorist threat to American security. And then having their defamation squad at the Southern Poverty Law Center funneling money to “white supremacists” in order to keep the ruse going. (RELATED: Eventually, the Grift Does Get Exposed)

If Barack Obama had a son, he’d look (and act) like Cole Allen. We all know this.

The Democrat Party is upset about what happened at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday. There is no doubt about that. But they aren’t upset about the attempt at a Trump assassination. They’re upset that it failed.

The system is what it does. And what it does is to produce saboteurs, rioters, criminals, and assassins.

Let’s stop pretending the Left wants what the rest of us want. That hasn’t been true in decades. What they want is power, ostensibly to perfect human society along their prescriptions.

Maximum power.

And even the exceptionally stupid ones know you can’t get that kind of power by persuading people of your ideas. Those ideas aren’t persuasive, and the people espousing them are less so.

And so it takes a lot of broken eggs to make that omelet. Starting with Trump, obviously, but hardly ending there.

It’s far past the point that we recognized this and started getting a lot more spirited in defense of our society from the people who are willing to kill to destroy it.

At the very least, let’s stop employing the Cole Allens of the world as schoolteachers. Can we at least begin with that?

Who Funds the Southern Poverty Law Center’s $129 Million Revenue and $800 Million Assets?

 

The SPLC’s funding comes primarily from large liberal donors, including Apple and JPMorgan Chase, George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, and a direct-mail fundraising operation built on urgent appeals tied to high-profile racial incidents, generating $129 million in revenue in fiscal year 2024 alone. On April 21, 2026, a federal grand jury in Montgomery, Alabama, indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center on 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.

Prosecutors allege that between 2014 and 2023, the SPLC secretly funneled more than $3 million in donor funds to individuals affiliated with the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations, the National Alliance, and other extremist groups, the same groups it was publicly raising money to dismantle.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche stated the SPLC was “manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose.” The indictment also includes two federal forfeiture actions to recover alleged proceeds of the fraud. The SPLC has denied the allegations and vowed to fight them in court.

The charges have forced a question that critics have raised for decades: where does the SPLC’s money actually come from?

The organization’s financial scale is striking. According to its most recent IRS Form 990, the SPLC posted $129 million in total revenue in fiscal year 2024 and held nearly $800 million in total assets, down from a record $169.8 million in revenue the prior year.

Despite holding reserves sufficient to operate for six years without raising another dollar, the organization ran “urgent” appeals for “emergency” cash throughout 2024, during which it collected $106 million in donated funds. CharityWatch, the nonprofit watchdog, rates the SPLC an “F” for hoarding assets far beyond any reasonable operational reserve.

The fundraising machine has deep roots. Morris Dees, the SPLC’s co-founder, built his personal fortune through direct mail marketing before entering civil rights law. He raised money for George McGovern’s 1972 presidential campaign in exchange for the candidate’s 700,000-name donor list, which became the foundation of the SPLC’s solicitation program.

By 1986, the SPLC’s entire legal staff had quit in protest, accusing Dees of abandoning genuine poverty law, pro bono death row representation, tenant cases in favor of headline-generating KKK lawsuits that produced better fundraising copy.

One departing attorney, Gloria Browne, said the organization’s programs were calculated to cash in on “black pain and white guilt.” Former SPLC staffer Bob Moser later write  The New Yorker that “the only thing easier than beating the Klan in court was raising money off Klan-fighting from liberals up north.”

The 2017 Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally illustrated how the model worked at peak efficiency. SPLC revenue before Charlottesville was $51.8 million. After Charlottesville, it surged to $133.4 million. Corporate America responded: then-Apple CEO Tim Cook pledged $1 million, JPMorgan Chase gave $500,000, George Clooney’s foundation donated $1 million, and MGM pledged to match employee contributions.

The Google Foundation had already provided $250,000 in 2016. George Soros’s Open Society Foundation pledged $75,000 in 2016 to convene an “Anti-Hate Table” of national organizations.

What those donors did not know, according to the DOJ indictment, was that an SPLC informant paid $270,000 over eight years had been a member of the leadership chat group that planned the Charlottesville rally and helped coordinate transportation for attendees.

The Soros connection to the SPLC runs deeper than that single documented grant. The SPLC has established a fund housed at the Tides Foundation, the left’s primary fiscal intermediary, called Vote Your Voice, committing $130 million over ten years to voter engagement organizations across the Deep South.

Soros has donated more than $7 million to Tides over the years, meaning Soros money flows into Tides and Tides infrastructure flows to SPLC programs. The arrangement also provides political cover: grants distributed through Tides carry Tides’ name rather than the SPLC’s, obscuring the origin of the funds to grantees and the public alike.

While raising tens of millions annually from American donors on civil rights appeals, the SPLC was simultaneously moving hundreds of millions offshore. The Washington Free Beacon’s 2017 investigation, drawing directly from the SPLC’s own IRS filings, Form 8865, Form 926, and Form 990-T, documented specific transfers: $960,000 to Tiger Global Private Investment Partners IX in the Cayman Islands on November 24, 2014; $102,007 to BPV-III Cayman X Limited and $157,574 to BPV-III Cayman XI Limited on the same Grand Cayman PO Box in December 2014; and two separate $2.2 million transfers on March 1, 2015, to entities in Cayman Bay, Cayman Islands.

The SPLC’s 2015 Form 990-T separately disclosed financial interests in the British Virgin Islands and Bermuda. Amy Sterling Casil, CEO of nonprofit consulting firm Pacific Human Capital, called the offshore transfers “a huge red flag” and said she knew of “no legitimate reason for any U.S.-based nonprofit to put money in overseas, unregulated bank accounts.” By 2021, the SPLC’s non-U.S. equity holdings had grown from $44 million in 2013 to $233 million, a 430 percent increase.

The executive compensation picture is equally revealing. In 2015, co-founder Morris Dees received $329,560 in base salary plus $42,000 in additional compensation. President Richard Cohen received $346,218 in base pay. The minimum salary for any officer or key employee that year was $140,000, and total salary expenditure reached $20 million. In the same year, the organization, which claimed a staff of 75 lawyers, spent just $61,000 on legal services. When Dees was forced out in 2019 following accusations of sexual harassment and staff complaints of racial discrimination, he, Cohen, and Legal Director Rhonda Brownstein received combined payouts exceeding $1 million despite their forced departures.

At that point, the SPLC’s offshore holdings stood at $162 million and the endowment at $529 million. Staff had long referred to the organization’s Montgomery headquarters as the “Poverty Palace.”

In the wake of the indictment, the U.S. Treasury Department announced it is tightening IRS Form 990 reporting requirements to expose how nonprofits conceal funding used for extremist activity or fraud. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan sent a letter to the SPLC demanding documents and communications related to the informant payments and any coordination with the Biden-Harris administration. The SPLC spent $3.458 million on federal lobbying in 2024 alone.

The indictment is unproven and the SPLC will have its day in court. What is not in dispute is the financial record. This is an organization that built a $786 million fortune on alarmist direct-mail appeals, parked hundreds of millions in offshore accounts, paid departing executives over $1 million on the way out, funneled $130 million through a Soros-linked fiscal intermediary, and solicited emergency donations from Apple, JPMorgan, and George Clooney after a rally that its own paid operative helped organize.
