Earlier today we published Mac Slavo’s brutally profound look at what radical corporate media would like to see happen when it comes to full blown socialism with a heavy dose of communism. Many of the powers-that-be are calling for basic income for every adult in America.
It’s not surprising to see radical corporate media make such blatant statements, but until now we haven’t seen elected officials use such direct attacks against free-markets. Even in cities like Baltimore, Chicago and San Francisco the elected officials try to give the appearance of a free-market.
New York City, thanks to the decision voters just made, will soon surge heavily towards total government control. At least… it will if newly elected mayor Bill de Blasio gets his way.
Here’s what the new mayor said about his position on government vs. free markets.
Business leaders in the city are scratching their heads over recent remarks by Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio.Describing how he plans to govern once he takes office next year, the mayor-elect declared flatly that he doesn’t believe in the free-market system. At least Comrade Bill was being honest.“Everything you heard about me is true. . . I am not a free-marketeer. . . I believe in the heavy hand of government,” de Blasio stated matter-of-factly during an hour-longpresentation to some of the city’s biggest real-estate developers.
Here’s some advice for those living in NYC… sell and get out. They’re coming for your money, your rights and your freedom. That’s not tin-foil nut talk, that’s what they’re telling you they’re going to do.
