And young people seem to hate it too....
Back when Ted Cruz led his filibuster demanding a one year ObamaCare delay, Democrats couldn't wait to tear into him. He, and members of his party, were pilloried as "terrorists," "arsonists," and "political hostage takers." There was no language too strong for Democrats as they rushed to denounce the opposition. America had to be warned. Ted Cruz was evil, ObamaCare is a perfect piece of legislation, and delays would not be tolerated.
What a difference a couple of months make.
According to a new Fox News poll 67% of the American people believe that ObamaCare should be delayed a year or more. It's incredibly unpopular, so that's not surprising. The shocker is that a majority of Democrats - 54% - now believe that a one-year delay is in order.
Apparently, the left now agrees with the terrorists, arsonists, and hostage takers on the right. Asked if they wanted a one year delay of the law, this was the response:
67% of the total and 54% of Democrats answer in the affirmative. If your favorite law requires the support of young people, what might be worse is that a whopping 75% of those under 35 think it needs to be postponed.
Now, this may be because they'd like to wait until after the 2014 mid-terms to force their terrible law down your throats, or it may be that they really understand how broken it is. Either way, whether it’s a political maneuver or sincere, it's incredibly damning. Essentially, no one believes that ObamaCare is ready for primetime.
We're sure Senator Cruz's apology will be arriving any second.
That's not the end of the President's bad news, either. The all-important "under 35" category wishes the "Affordable" Care Act had never even been passed. They'd prefer it if we had the same system we had back in 2009.
Ouch. Not only does an overall 54% majority wish the law had never been signed, by a margin of 55-39 young people would prefer that it had never escaped Congress.
Maybe that's why they want it repealed. Overall, repeal is favored by a margin of 53-41. That number's only where it is because 72% of Democrats would like to keep the law on the books - probably out of a misguided sense of pride. The alternative would represent an embarrassing ideological defeat of epic proportions.
Again, we see that young people are resistant to its oh-so-obvious charms, though. By a twelve point margin, those vital to the ACA's success would like to see it gone.
Perhaps these numbers are attributable to the fact that a majority believe that the man who spearheaded the ACA - Barack Obama himself - is unworthy of their trust. Overall, the poll finds that people distrust Obama by a margin of 49-45 percent. And, once again, we find that young people are tougher to convince...
Asked if the President is trustworthy, things get ugly - especially among younger people:
These numbers show that the American people - young people in particular - are not buying into the left's big government talking points. If the Dems hope to turn things around, they're going to have to find a way to convince the under-35 crowd that the ACA is more than just a massive statist boondoggle. The problem is, as more and more people feel ObamaCare's effect, that's getting harder and harder to do.
In the meantime, cue the clueless libs who like to attack Fox, pretend that all of these polls are meaningless, or accuse us of “cherry picking." The fact is, this is a trend across virtually every polling outfit. Their "next messiah" and his signature law are in big trouble.

Ya know what's not going to make young people sign up? This guy....
