Biden Being Biden: Vice President Tells Boston Marathon Bombing Survivors ‘It Was Worth It’

Sometimes, the best part about Joe Biden’s many gaffes is that he has no idea he’s making them. Such was the case in Boston Tuesday, as the city marked the one-year anniversary of the Marathon bombing.

During his speech at the memorial service, Biden went Biden. Speaking to a crowd of bombing survivors, the veep said “it was worth it” to come to Boston and see how the attack’s victims have “survived” and “soared.”

While the crowd applauded Joe’s comments, his awkward choice of words didn’t go unnoticed by some, including Rick Leventhal ofFox News:

Yeah, something tells me Biden might like a mulligan on that one.
