Black 16-Year-Old Teen Shot Trying to Steal Air Jordans; Where are the Race Hustlers?

Less than a week before Christmas, 16-year-old black teen Jawaad Jabbar had his sights set on obtaining a pair of the just released limited edition Air Jordan athletic shoes, waiting in the long line at the Dayton (OH) Mall, only to find out that the highly sought after shoes were no longer available. 
When Jabbar, who was with two other juveniles, ages 16 and 17, wasn’t able to purchase the $200 pair of sneakers, he made the unfortunate decision to steal a pair from someone who did buy a pair legally — at gunpoint. 

That will be the last pair of Air Jordans or anything else this teenager will try to steal. 

When Jabbar threatened the unnamed, new Air Jordan owner with his gun, little did he know that the owner had a concealed carry permit. 

Tragically, the 16-year-old lost his life at that moment. 

“All the subjects involved in this were there for an athletic shoe release,” said Miami Twp. Police Sgt. Jay Phares to reporters. “The juvenile wasn’t able to get in line in time to get these shoes that were being sold and decided to try to take them from somebody who did get some shoes, with force, with a firearm,” he explained. 

So far, professional race hustlers Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Barack Obama and Eric Holder are silent on the matter.
