BREAKING: US House Strikes Massive Blow to Obama’s ‘Global Warming’ Agenda in Huge Vote

I love it. they passed a bill that would force the Libs to prove their science on global warming. Needless to say the libs are not happy about it! Why?

Doomed polar bears are supposedly clinging desperately to fast-melting ice floes. Their lives are in danger because the ice floes are disappearing due to global warming.
At least that is what the Obama administration would have us believe. Yet the Environmental Protection Agencyis often not forthcoming with the scientific evidence proving such an environmental problem exists … or why we should spend our hard-earned money to fix it.
Now, the U.S. House of Representatives aims to fix the EPA — or, at least, one small part of it.
Within the past two days, Republicans in the House passed two bills related to the EPA and Obama’s “global warming” agenda.
One bill calls for the EPA to reveal the scientific evidence it has used when proposing regulations designed to address climate change.
The second bill prohibits the EPA from appointing lobbyists — some clearly with biased objectives — to its Scientific Advisory Board.
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California says the bills are meant to make the EPA more transparent, especially when new regulations from the agency would add to the cost of doing business or would infringe on private property.
“Right now, the EPA is trying to impose harmful regulations based on scientific studies that no one can check,” he said.
He labeled such studies “secret science.”
The White House, of course, has complained.
Obama administration officials state that the first bill, by requiring the release of data, would potentially violate the privacy of study participants or confidential business information.
The second bill, Obama supporters say, would ostensibly hinder the ability of the EPA to develop regulations based on the expertise of environmental scientists (H/T Fox News).
Representative Alcee Hastings of Florida, a Democrat, claims that the bills would harm the EPA’s integrity.
But that ignores the fact that many Americans already question the EPA’s integrity.
If the bills become law, they would require the EPA to be more accountable to the American taxpayers who fund the agency.
In the meantime, the polar bears will do just fine.
