State Kicks 15,000 People Off Food Stamps Because They Refused To Find Work

I don't feel for them. The 'Look for work Clause" use to be in the requirements until Obama removed it. Why would he remove it?      Government Dependency = Votes?

Some 15,000 Wisconsinites have been dropped from FoodShare Employment and Training. FSET is a state food stamp program aimed at getting people back to work
The drop offs happened over the span of three months. The new law was put in place to require some food stamp recipients — mostly childless, able-bodied adults — to find half-time (80 hours a month) work within three months of enrolling.
Since the program’s rollout last April, 60,000 participants have been kicked off FSET, according tothe Wisconsin State Journal. That’s about a quarter of enrollees. Some 4,500 participants have successfully found work through the program.

In May, the state assembly passed a budget that would require welfare recipients to take drug tests in order to receive assistance. Should they fail the test, Wisconsinites would be forced to seek government-assisted treatment.
