In the midst of a heady whirlwind New York media tour that has seen him appear in the past three days on ABC, and several CNN and MSNBC interview shows, school shooting survivor David Hogg, a 17 year-old senior, took time out Monday night to attack President Donald Trump for allegedly evading the draft during the Vietnam War in the 1960s.
Trump received several college deferments during the war, as well as a medical deferment, reported the Smoking Gun in 2015.

Hogg wrote, “Calling the sheriff a coward is so ironic coming from a man who evaded the draft multiple times due to his power and influence. @realDonaldTrump you’re a hypocrite that is owned by the NRA please prove me wrong.”

Hogg also retweeted a GIF posted by Seth MacFarlane of then citizen Trump jumping back from a bald eagle who suddenly pecked at his hand.

Trump has criticized as a coward the Broward County Sheriff’s deputy who served as the resource officer for Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, for hiding outside from the gunman rather than entering the school building and confronting him with deadly force during the February 14 attack by a former student that killed 17 students and faculty.
Interesting to hear Trump argue for arming teachers but then criticize the FL school resource officer: "He certainly did a poor job… somebody was outside, they are trained, they didn't react properly under pressure or they were a coward." On Monday, Trump criticized other deputies for not entering the school building, saying he himself would likely have gone in even if he was unarmed.

Hogg said over the weekend he is considering careers in politics and journalism.
