Fox News host Sean Hannity told his viewers Wednesday night that he believes the American people are ‘one step closer,’ to learning the truth about the ‘biggest abuse of power,’ in U.S. history.
“After months of ringing the alarm about the abuse of power within the FISA court system, the DOJ Inspector General is finally announcing plans to investigating alleged foreign intelligence surveillance abuses,” Hannity said.
“We’ve been exposing how the unverified, Clinton-bought-and-paid-for Dossier was used as evidence to extend a FISA warrant on a Trump campaign associate.”
“We also showed you how circular reporting was intentionally used by the FBI in an attempt to strengthen their FISA abuse case,” Hannity added.
“We have unearthed shocking conflicts of interest and anti-Trump bias at the highest levels of the FBI and the DOJ, but we are one step closer in getting to the bottom-line truth in what is the biggest abuse of power in the history of this country.”
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, newly released text messages between FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page suggest there was coordination between the Justice Department, FBI, CIA, DOJ, the Obama White House and Democrat officials during the early stages of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
Fox News reports:
Republican investigators provided documents to Fox News which — they say — “strongly suggest” coordination between former President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and CIA Director John Brennan —which they say would “contradict” the Obama administration’s public stance about its hand in the process.Page texted Strzok on Aug. 2, 2016, saying: “Make sure you can lawfully protect what you sign. Just thinking about congress, foia, etc. You probably know better than me.”A text message from Strzok to Page on Aug. 3 described former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe as being concerned with “information control” related to the initial investigation into the Trump campaign. According to a report from the New York Times, Brennan was sent to Capitol Hill around the same time to brief members of Congress on the possibility of election interference.Days later, on Aug. 8, 2016, Strzok texted Page: “Internal joint cyber cd intel piece for D, scenesetter for McDonough brief, Trainer [head of FBI cyber division] directed all cyber info be pulled. I’d let Bill and Jim hammer it out first, though it would be best for D to have it before the Wed WH session.”In the texts, “D” referred to FBI Director James Comey, and and “McDonough” referred to Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, the GOP investigators said.
