Retired FBI Special Agent: Why is the DNC Resisting to Surrender Its Compromised Servers For Forensic Examination?

On Thursday, retired FBI agent James Gagliano asked why the DNC is resisting to surrender its compromised servers if they were truly the victim of a hack.
Gagliano also said it’s unheard of for the US Govt to take the word of a “private forensics company” [Crowdstrike] at trial.
The retired FBI agent also asked why isn’t the FBI rigorously investigating the Clinton camp’s Ukrainian collusion/connections?
Round one: What is difficult to reconcile. If played straight, why didn’t: 1) FBI/DOJ compel DNC to turn over compromised server? 2) Investigate, as rigorously, Clinton campaign’s Ukraine connections? 3) If Trump campaign’s “peripherals” compromised, not Trump, why not read-in Sr Ldrs?
Round two: Why the resistance to surrender the servers for forensic examination?
Gagliano then asked, “When was last time you ever heard of the USG taking the word of a “private forensics company” at trial? Or in this instance, in a matter of senstive NatSec implications? Have no problem w/outside entity doing their own forensics harvesting. But not allowing FBI to review? Um, ok.”
Former White House spox Ari Fleischer reacted to James Gagliano:
The answer is we have NEVER seen anything like this. The government sill has not done a forensic inspection of the crime scene [DNC servers] yet the taxpayers have forked out millions of dollars to pay for a special counsel to ‘investigate.’
A special counsel was appointed to investigate ‘Trump-Russia collusion’ without naming a crime.
We still don’t even have proof the DNC servers were hacked, and if hacked, by whom?

Mueller Team Has Spent More Than $7.7 Million On Russia Probe In A Year

The office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller spent more than $4.5 million on the Russia investigation from October 2017 to March 2018, bringing the total spending to more than $7.7 million.
The entire Justice Department incurred almost another $1 million for supporting the Russia investigation in the latest report, spending a total of $5.4 million on the Russia investigation From October 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018. The Special Counsel’s Office expense report states the DOJ’s spending amount “would have incurred for the investigations irrespective of the existence of the SCO.”

A majority of the latest expenses from the Special Counsel’s Office went to “personnel compensation and benefits” — more than $2.7 million.
Mueller’s office also spent millions on a combination of travel, transportation, rent, contracts and supplies, plus more than $200,000 on IT services.
It spent more over the last six months than it did during the first four months of its investigation, which accounted for around $3.2 million.
The Special Counsel’s Office has spent more than $7.7 million since May 2017, and the DOJ has spent more than $12 million on the Russia investigation.

CNN’s Acosta Lost It When Kim K Visited Trump. Here’s What He Said When Celebs Visited Obama



President Donald Trump met with Kim Kardashian at the White House to discuss criminal justice reform Wednesday.
After the meeting, Trump tweeted, “Great meeting with @KimKardashian today, talked about prison reform and sentencing.”
Trump’s meeting with the pop-culture star was not received well by some in the media. CNN’s Jim Acosta was particularly upset.
Acosta said before the meeting, “Forget about the fact that Kim Kardashian is here at the White House today and what planet that is anything-resembling-normal on, because it’s not,” Acosta lamented. “She shouldn’t be here talking about prison reform. It’s very nice that she is here, but that’s not a serious thing to have happened here at the White House.”
But the tone is a sharp change for Acosta’s reporting. When Obama was in office, the White House reporter regularly gushed about celebrities meeting the former president to advocate for pet projects and causes.
Acosta regularly tweeted about meeting celebrities during the Obama era, interviewing musician John Legend on criminal justice reform in 2015.
“Fox & Friends” lambasted Acosta for the hypocrisy this morning:
In the interview, Acosta gushed to Legend, “If you change your mind about running for office, give CNN the scoop.”
The interview follows a trend of dozens of celebs making multiple trips to the Obama White House.

Gun Control Is Fading From Young Americans’ Agenda

Six percent of Americans aged 15 to 34 consider gun control the top issue facing the country, according to a new Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research and MTV poll reported on Wednesday.
That number is down from a high of 21 percent who considered it the top issue in March, according to the poll.
Four in 10 surveyed still gave the government an “F” grade on handling gun control issues. (RELATED: School Shooting Video Game Shut Down)
These numbers come in as March For Our Lives organizers like David Hogg remain in the news, most recently for pressuring Publix to end contributions to Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Putnam over his support for the National Rifle Association.
More young people than before feel like they can affect change in politics. Of the 939 surveyed, 46 percent said they felt like they could have at least a moderate effect on policy, up from 37 percent in March.
Thirty percent of those polled approved of President Donald Trump’s performance.
The poll was conducted from April 23 to May 9 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.3 percentage points.

Mark Levin DESTROYS ‘Slip and Fall Lawyer’ Trey Gowdy’s Defense of Obama’s Spygate Scandal



Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin blasted “slip and fall lawyer” Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., Wednesday over the lawmaker’s claims that the FBI did the right thing by planting a spy in the Trump campaign.
Gowdy defended the FBI on multiple television appearances for spying on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election, arguing “the FBI did exactly what my fellow citizens would want them to do when they got the information they got, and that it has nothing to do with Donald Trump.”
Levin, the former chief of staff to Attorney General Ed Meese, dismantled the congressman’s Spygate apologetics point by point.
On his media tour defending the FBI insists the Russia probe and the FBI’s surveillance of the Trump campaign was never about targeting Trump, but was merely to  investigate Russia and Russian infiltration.
“Chris Wray and Rod Rosenstein have made it clear to us, Donald Trump was never the target of the investigation, he’s not the current target of the investigation. Keep in mind, that could all change depending on what a witness says. But as of now, Chris Wray and Rod Rosenstein are stunned whenever people think that Trump is the target of their investigation. I’ll leave it to them how to brief the president,” the South Carolina congressman told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum Tuesday.
Levin slammed Gowdy’s assessment, arguing that counter intelligence agencies would have assigned informants to the Clinton campaign and DNC after they claimed the Russians hacked their server.
“Now where is the easiest place to try and find the Russians? Is it in Trump world? No. It’s at the DNC. Didn’t the Russians hack the DNC emails? Didn’t we hear this over and over again?” he said. “Did they have an informant, aka a spy, at the DNC to chase down the Russians who were hacking the DNC’s emails? No. If they are trying to protect us and the candidates and the election from the Russians, as we pointed out last week, why weren’t there informants in Jill Stein’s campaign, or Hillary Clinton’s campaign, or Bernie Sanders’ campaign?”
Contrary to Gowdy’s assertion, Levin argued,  the entire purpose of the FBI”s spying on Trump and the ongoing Russia probe is to frame the president.
“Now [Gowdy’s] telling us look, Trump was never the target of this investigation. That’s very slippery, like a slip and fall lawyer. Of course Trump was the target of the investigation. They just haven’t found anything on Trump,” he said. “You think Manafort was the target of the investigation? Or Gates? Or Papadopoulos?  Or Lieutenant General Flynn. When we talk about Trump world — the Trump campaign, the Trump transition, the Trump presidency, who the hell do they think the target is? That’s said, there’s nothing on Trump,  but they’d like nothing more than to get something on Trump.”
Why do you think they are taking Manafort to the gallows day in and day out? Why do you think Mr. Gowdy, Mr. former federal prosecutor, they’ve interviewed virtually every single person that’s ever worked for Donald Trump – whether in the campaign, in the transition or in his administration?” he continued. “Why did Trump Inc. have to turn over hundreds of thousands of pages of information if they are not trying to get Trump — it has nothing to do with him now because they didn’t find anything. But they sure as hell have been trying. That special counsel who wants to take this to the brink of a constitutional crisis, with 49 areas of questions that he wants to ask Donald Trump ‘has nothing to do with Donald Trump and only has to do with Russia.’”
Gowdy told CBS News that he had seen no evidence to support Trump’s claims that a “spy” was improperly inserted into his 2016 campaign.
“That is not a term I’ve ever used in the criminal justice system,” Gowdy said. “I’ve never heard the term ‘spy’ used. Undercover informant, confidential informant, those are all words I’m familiar with. I’ve never heard the term ‘spy’ used.”
Levin was aghast by how Gowdy, the former House Oversight Chairman, is apparently unaware that the FBI’s surveillance of Trump was a “counter intelligence investigation” in which the term “spy” is regularly used, not a “criminal” investigation,
“What does he mean he’s never heard the word ‘spy’ used? Is this a joke? It’s the proper nomenclature that people like me and others who have heard the term used, apply to somebody who is used by the FBI and other federal department or agencies, to spy on other individuals and provide information to the government,” he said. “Hey genius, it is a counter intelligence investigation, it was not a criminal investigation. Hello Trey, former federal prosecutor, that is a word that they use, however on the counter intelligence side of the ledger, and it was a counter intelligence investigation. FISA is not part of a criminal investigation, its part of a counter intelligence investigation. The informant, a word that you do use, spy a word you don’t use – spy is often used in counter intelligence investigations.”
We are not talking about the criminal justice context,” he added. ” This guy sits on the damn intelligence committee and I have to educate him? No wonder he is retiring.”
The Left has what it wants thanks to Gowdy, Levin concluded, “Another putative Republican, retiring so he’s free to ‘speak his mind,’ such as it is.”
“All these phoney civil libertarians, all these phoney quasi slip and fall lawyers. How easy it is for them to dismiss the tyranny out of government control – its unbelievable when you put this stuff together, the unmasking that took place. The FISA application. The dossier, with Hillary Clinton and the DNC funding it. The endless leaks. — ‘this is what the American people would want, don’t ya know.’”

 The New York Times  wrote a very sad piece on Thursday morning on how the Obama regime took the news that businessman Donald Trump shellacked Hillary Clinton in the 2016 US election.
Not well.
Obama reportedly lobbied Canadian Prime Minister and Castro supporter Justin Trudeau to work against the incoming US president.
Mr. Rhodes describes the reaction of foreign leaders. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan apologized for breaching protocol by meeting with Mr. Trump at Trump Tower in Manhattan after the election. Mr. Obama urged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada to take on a more vocal role defending the values they shared.
The New York Times didn’t bat an eye reporting this news.
Maybe this is what liberals do all the time and we just don’t hear about it?
