A shocking new election-integrity investigation out of Oregon has uncovered hundreds of suspicious voter records, including dozens reportedly belonging to dead people, and one record allegedly showing a woman voting 14 years after her death.
Independent journalist Right Side Rebel reported on X that Douglas County Clerk Dan Loomis registered 397 inactive voters in one day under instructions from Democrat Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read’s office.
Right Side Rebel, working with election-integrity investigators Samantha Frost and Richard McNamara, said they have already confirmed that at least 40 of those individuals are deceased. More than 100 are reportedly listed as over 100 years old.
But the most explosive discovery involved a voter who allegedly died in 2008 yet was credited in Oregon’s election system with voting in 2022, 14 years after her death.
Right Side Rebel wrote:
“County Clerk says the Oregon Secretary of State made him register dead voters. One of them voted in 2022 14 years after dying.
“Working again with Samantha Frost and Richard McNamara on Douglas County’s voter rolls. County Clerk Dan Loomis registered 397 inactive voters. We have confirmed 40 of them are deceased. More than 100 are over 100 years old.”
During an on-camera interview, Right Side Rebel confronted Loomis with the record of the woman who reportedly died in 2008 but was marked as having voted in 2022.
According to Right Side Rebel, Loomis attempted to brush off the revelation by arguing that the journalist possessed information his office did not have.
It is now 2026. The record reportedly remains uncorrected.
When pressed about the dead voter, Loomis appeared to downplay the situation, responding, “It’s just one person” and “It’s not all of them.”
One dead person credited with casting a ballot is one too many.
And if independent citizens can locate the death record, why can’t the taxpayer-funded election officials responsible for maintaining Douglas County’s voter database?
Right Side Rebel continued:
“This is not rumor. These are documents from the Secretary of State’s own system showing the rolls contain illegal and fraudulent voting.”
“Loomis also claims counties and cities are not authorized to investigate—that the only office authorized is the Oregon Secretary of State.”
That claim deserves immediate scrutiny.
Douglas County’s own elections website states that its Elections Division is responsible for “maintaining registered voter data” and administering elections throughout the county.
Apparently, county officials are responsible for maintaining voter data, but when dead voters and suspicious voting histories are discovered, the public is told that only the Democrat-controlled Secretary of State’s office can investigate.
How convenient.
Loomis reportedly shifted responsibility for the 397 inactive registrations to Secretary of State Tobias Read’s office, claiming state officials directed him to register the voters, including those who were already dead.
Right Side Rebel thanked Loomis for agreeing to the interview but warned that election-integrity activists have a constitutional right to investigate and confront their representatives.
“For anyone doing this same work in Oregon: you are on firm ground. Oregon Constitution, Article I, Section 8—the right to speak, write, and print. Article I, Section 26—the right to instruct your representatives.”
Oregon officials insist that inactive voters do not receive ballots.
In January, Read’s office admitted that Oregon was maintaining approximately 800,000 inactive voter records. The state announced that roughly 160,000 old records would be canceled, leaving approximately 640,000 inactive registrations that had not yet completed the removal process.
Read’s office claimed that inactive records have “no impact” on Oregon elections because ballots are not mailed to those individuals.
The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on Oregon’s ongoing voter-roll controversy.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the Trump Justice Department backed Judicial Watch in its lawsuit accusing Oregon of failing to comply with federal voter-roll maintenance and public-inspection requirements.
The lawsuit alleged that Oregon failed to make a reasonable effort to remove ineligible voters and unlawfully withheld important list-maintenance records from public inspection.
The DOJ argued that Oregon could not hide behind county governments and bureaucratic red tape to escape its obligations under the National Voter Registration Act.
Oregon previously admitted that compiling the requested records would require approximately 5,000 hours because of its lack of central coordination with county election offices
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon warned:
“Accurate voter registration rolls are critical to ensure that elections in Oregon are conducted fairly, accurately, and without fraud. States have specific obligations under the list maintenance provisions of the NVRA, and the Department of Justice will vigorously enforce those requirements.”
In March, The Gateway Pundit reported that a Trump Justice Department review of between 50 million and 60 million voter records uncovered more than 300,000 deceased individuals still listed on voter rolls.
The review covered only a portion of the country.
Dhillon said at the time:
“We have found hundreds of thousands of people who shouldn’t be on the voter rolls—people who are dead, people who have moved, and duplicate registrations.”
Then in July, the Justice Department placed election officials nationwide on notice, demanding compliance with federal election laws and warning officials about potential federal consequences for knowingly allowing ineligible noncitizens to remain registered or vote.
Now the Right Side Rebel is calling on Dhillon and the Justice Department to examine what is happening in Oregon.
“In this interview, Loomis admits we have only found one confirmed dead voter so far in this one county—then shifts the blame to the Secretary of State.
“So the questions are simple: Is Harmeet Dhillon going to look at Oregon officials? Are these rolls finally going to get cleaned? Are we going to hold people accountable?”
