While President Obama mocks Republicans for warning of the dangers of his plan to import 10,000 Syrian refugees despite having "gaping holes" in the vetting process and the Islamic State's declarations that they are using the refugee crisis to infiltrate the West, eight more ISIS terroristshave been arrested trying to enter Germany by posing as "refugees."
"When candidates say we shouldn't admit three-year-old orphans, that's political posturing," said a vitriolic Obama at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in response to Republicans calls for a pause on importing Syrians in light of revelations about the involvement of at least one supposed Syrian "refugee" in the Paris attacks and the significant "gaps" in our refugee vetting process.
"When people say we should have a religious test, and only Christians, proven Christians, should be admitted, that's offensive, and contrary to American values," he said, adding derisively, "These are the same folks often times that say they're so tough that just talking to (Russian President Vladimir) Putin or staring down ISIL or using some additional rhetoric will solve the problem—and they're scared of widows and three-year-old orphans."
Obama's dismissal of the notion that refugees could include those with extremist intent was shown to be yet again to be naive at best, as European authorities reported Wednesday that they have captured eight more terrorist suspects posing as "refugees." The suspected ISIS operatives had on their person a hand-drawn picture of what appears to be their planned route into Germany from Turkey by way of Greece, Serbia and Hungary.
Express reports:
Express notes that the arrests come after an ISIS smuggler openly bragged to BuzzFeed about how the "complete success" of the group's efforts to smuggle in operatives using the "compassionate" European refugee policies. According to the jihadist, over 4,000 ISIS terrorists had already infiltrated Europe, mostly through Turkey and Greece. The infiltration was just the beginning, he proclaimed. The Anadolu Agency said the group arrived in Istanbul from Casablanca, Morocco, and were interviewed by criminal profiling teams at Ataturk Airport.Anadolu said the eight claimed to be tourists visiting Istanbul but a hotel refuted claims they had reservations there. [...]
"They are going like refugees," he said. "Others just go to Europe to be ready."
"Just wait. It’s our dream that there should be a caliphate not only in Syria but in all the world and we will have it soon, God willing," he said.
Already more than 1.5 million migrants have fled into Turkey claiming refugee status.
Instead of expressing anger and outrage over the atrocities committed by Islamic terrorists in Paris Friday, President Obama has directed his ire at those on the other side of the aisle over their calls to pause his plans to import "refugees" (against the will of nowover half of the governors in the country). While Republicans point to the utterly inadequate vetting process, Obama has mocked them for being afraid of "widows and orphans"—a characterization of the migrants that fails to acknowledge that a majority of those seeking asylum are able-bodied young men and that women are often jihadists too.
Only a few hours after Obama's derisive comments, a female Islamic extremist blew herself up when French authorities raided a radical hideout in Paris Wednesday. As John Nolte notes, "Once again, reality has intruded on President Obama's divisive, anti-science talking points."
