Seattle Slaps Big Business With More Taxes To Pay For The Poor

People are saying to Seattle  "Go for it".  Kinda reminds you of the Idiots in the Illinois Congress working on a Progressive tax

Executives at Amazon, Starbucks and other large businesses with operations in Seattle, Washington are fuming over the newly approved “head tax” passed unanimously by the city council.

The city council says the money will be used to address the homeless crisis in the city and is expected to raise $48 Million a year for the cause.

“This is  hilarious, two of the biggest and most liberal companies in the U.S. now want to tap out  because their cities are too liberal,” Coglianese said.

Businesses making more than $20 million in gross revenues will have to fork over an extra S275 per full-time worker each year.

Amazon released a statement saying it is disappointed in the city council’s decision to introduce a tax on jobs. Amazon went on to say that the city doesn’t have a revenue problem, it has a spending efficiency problem.

“Now all of a sudden these  companies don’t like democrat tax polices? The Democrat party is the party of higher taxes,” Hamill said.
