Obama and the oil reserves??

If tapping the oil reserves will temporarily bring down prices....how does that work??

I wonder if drilling for more oil to flood the market would have the same effect for a long term? Then we reduce our dependency for foreign oil!!
 Why do these Hacks in this admin keep saying it wont work??   They are idiots!! They want to go green. How long will it take to go green economicaly? 
  I work for a fuel driven company. This will hurt its bottom line. This is cutting in to peoples budget, while they take time to go green!
  Iran stops the straight or tries, watch the price of oil shoot up,,,when we could be getting our OWN oil!
