SAD: These Students are Shown a Picture of Ronald Reagan and Don’t Recognize Him

A Bunch of Educated Liberal Idiots!

One of the most important political and cultural figures in American history is hands down, without a shadow of a doubt, former President Ronald Reagan.

The man is an icon and has come to represent the very best things about this country and the conservative movement.

With such a prominent role in history– eight years in the White House and an acting career — you’d think his face would be one of the most easily recognizable faces in politics.

Not if you’re talking to college students.

President Ronald Reagan is one of the most famous Americans of the 20th century.  Between his acting career and his eight years as president, you would think that his face would be instantly recognizable to anyone with even a basic knowledge of recent American history.

As it turns out, a lot of college students at the University of Maryland had absolutely no clue who Reagan was when they were shown a picture of America’s 40th president.

While a few managed to get the right answer when they were shown Reagan’s picture, the majority had no clue who he was, which is a tragically sad commentary on the quality of our education system.

Then again, it’s run by big government progressives, so I guess it’s not all that shocking, but still quite sad.

One of the ways liberals are able to get away with much of the crap they pull is because they keep people ignorant about history.

They don’t want kids learning about all the awesome things Ronald Reagan did or what he stood for, because they just might start to like him, and they simply can’t have kids thinking for themselves and discovering the beauty of small, constitutionally limited government.

What really makes me want to hang my head and cry is that in the near future many of these intellectually challenged individuals will be politicians in office, running this country.

If that doesn’t give you nightmares, then nothing will!
