Obama: “We’ll do a Better Job” Protecting Cops if Our Communities are Confident “They are Being Treated Fairly”

President Obama has quite possibly just uttered the most ignorant statement during his run in the Oval Office.

President Barack Obama said Saturday night “we’ll do a better job” protecting police officers “if our communities can feel confident that they are being treated fairly.”

Obama’s remarks on the criminal justice system, specifically the need for a better relationship between police and citizens, drew a loud response at the annual Congressional Black Caucus awards dinner in Washington.

While Obama spent mic time praising the “uncommon bravery” of police, indicating the “vast majority do right thing,” he said equal emphasis needs to be placed on ensuring the law is applied fairly.

“This is not a new problem,” he said. “It’s just that in recent months, in recent years, suddenly folks have videos and body cameras and social media. And so it’s opened our eyes to these incidents.”

What if we said that about our president? Because as a white, Christian, conservative I don’t feel I’m being treated fairly by this administration – but I have proof, unlike many cases of police brutality these days against minorities.

 

In other words, every cop from California to New York is racist and I won’t provide them with better protection until they change their ways. 

This is an either-or proposition by the leader of the free world. Either cops start treating criminals with more respect, or they will continue to suffer the consequences. 

There’s no doubt that Obama makes these inflammatory comments as a wink to the black community. He knows he won’t get called on it by the press since they’re in his back pocket, and also because the mainstream media is so complacent.

When 44 says “fair,” what he means is that special consideration must be given to others. The man has always been racist (Hi, Rev. Wright), but it would be racist for anyone to call a black man out on his racism.

Double standard.

Since we all know Obama is a Christian I hope he’ll ask for forgiveness one day, because the error of his ways has left 20-plus police officers murdered in the line of duty in 2015 alone.
