Oops: Planned Parenthood president just caught in NEW LIE

Wow, you can tell these idiots are Obama Voters............Because they are Liars just like Obama!

Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards was in the hot seat today on Capitol Hill defending her organization’s use of half a billion dollars in taxpayer funds.

Of course, Ms. Richards and the organization she leads have been on a massive PR campaign since the videos documenting their sale of baby parts have been circulating this summer. Central to their talking points are claims about the general health services the organization provides which would otherwise be inaccessible to them.

Today, at least one of those previous claims was discovered to be a lie.

Today, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America Cecile Richards,testified before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on PPFA’s use of taxpayer funding. During testimony, she falsely asserted that, “we’ve never stated that we did” provide mammograms. 

“An affiliate isn’t a health center. I think I spoke earlier, we do not have mammogram machines at our health centers. And we’ve never stated that we did. As was mentioned earlier, for women who who go for a breast exam, if you need a mammogram, your referred to a radiological clinic.”

Apparently, Ms. Richards forgot about this video of her citing access to mammograms as one of the reasons not to cut off Planned Parenthood’s funding.

In 2011, Richards said on CNN that if federal funding is cut off to her organization “millions of women are going to lose access, not to abortion services, to basic family planning, you know, mammograms….”

Watch the video below, along with footage of women calling into various Planned Parenthood facilities to inquire about mammograms. Note one of the Planned Parenthood representatives explaining that “we don’t, um, deal with the health side of it too much. We’re mostly a surgical facility.” Hmmm…

BTW, Planned Parenthood’s annual report touts more than 489,000 breast cancer screenings; they just don’t mention that they refer women to other places for mammograms. Even though in the above video clip Ms. Richards herself clearly was trying to lead us to believe the access to this service was an essential service to which women otherwise might not have access without Planned Parenthood.

Ms. Richards appears to have been making the liberal play that one can claim anything she wants to support her narrative. Sadly, many liberals who continue to support Planned Parenthood continue to lap up the narrative on blind faith, without closer examination of facts. Or, for that matter, the despicable videos showing Planned Parenthood execs cavalierly discussing the harvesting and sale of baby parts, for that matter. Like Nancy Pelosi, who maintains the videos are fake while admitting she hasn’t seen them.

We wouldn’t want facts to get in the way of a liberal narrative now, would we?
