Today, LTC Allen West wrote about the terrible injustice being meted out to former Green Beret SFC Charles Martland. Just to recap, the U.S. Army rejected Martland’s appeal against his discharge scheduled to take effect in November. His crime? Martland shoved an Afghan rapist to the ground, after the monster laughed when Martland confronted him over raping a boy and then beating the child’s mother.
It is a despicable story on so many levels, but I fear it is endemic to our declining culture and the gradual, almost imperceptible slide into moral collapse brought on by political correctness and the need to “accept” all varieties of behavior as “normal.”
As I was reviewing the source material for Col. West’s story today, I referred back to the Daily Caller story which he quoted. I was shocked and appalled to see the headline the Daily Caller had chosen for this story: Army Rejects Appeal Of Green Beret Discharged For Confronting Afghan Boy Lover
Excuse me if I am shouting, but BOY LOVER? ARE YOU FRIGGING SERIOUS? A child rapist is now called a “boy lover?” How is this in any way acceptable?
You may have heard about an organization called “NAMBLA” which stands for the North American Man Boy Love Association. NAMBLA seeks to “normalize” (as it says on the website) “the love of a man for a boy, and of a boy for a man. Enjoyable, consensual, beautiful.”
Among its many benefits to society, NAMBLA says:
> NAMBLA has been, and continues to be, a beacon of moral support for all individuals who feel a natural love for boys.
> Through our web site and publications, NAMBLA provides a public forum for a diverse range of viewpoints supporting sexual liberation and youth liberation.
> NAMBLA is the only organization that specifically supports incarcerated individuals who identify as boy lovers or who otherwise agree with our aims.
Does the media, the mainstream media now also agree with their aims? Is it no longer politically correct to call a child rapist a rapist, but now a “boy lover?”
I am absolutely beside myself on this one, folks. As a society we now accept all kinds of sexual behavior, gender and even racial identity as normal. It’s all just fine. Even though it may represent a tiny, tiny percentage of the population, any sort of behavior must be accommodated, celebrated, represented — heck even TAUGHT in public schools.
But BOY LOVER to describe a rapist?
Where will this end? At some point, in our civil society, we must say NO MORE.
