Obama’s lie that “if you like your insurance plan, you can keep it, period,” is looking pale in comparison to yesterday’s whopper told during a conference call hosted by his perpetual campaign group, Organizing for Obama Action. According to the UK Daily Mail:
Obama said, “I just wanted to take a few minutes to speak to everybody because you guys are the ones who are in the trenches, day-in, day-out,” while complaining of ‘misinformation’ that has circulated about his health insurance overhaul law. But ‘problems with the website … have created and fed a lot of this misinformation,’ he admitted.President Barack Obama told a conference-call audience of progressive volunteers on Monday evening that ‘more than 100 million Americans’ – in a nation of less than 314 million – have successfully signed up for health insurance via the Affordable Care Act.And at a time when his signature legislative initiative’s website has made the White House the butt of jokes, thewebsite hosting the conference call was plagued with its own connection errors and other malfunctions.
This is classic Saul Alinsky Obama, accusing others of doing exactly what he’s been doing. What about his “misinformation campaign” of saying that everyone’s health insurance premiums would decline by $2,500, and that “if you like your insurance plan , you can keep your plan, period,” and, “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor?” All of these promises turned out to be blatant lies. His claim that 100 million have enrolled in Obamacare, which was probably believed by his worship team, just like his other lies, is simply an attempt by Obama to cover up one set of lies with even a bigger one.
According to the group, 200,000 people heard the conference call, which included a fundraising pitch.
