Hillary Clinton Faces Criminal Charges In Egypt Read more at http://www.westernjournalism.com/hillary-clinton-faced-charges-egypt/#jBZB5w5fofxmRMKi.99

According to a recent report by World Net Daily, expected 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is embroiled in yet another international scandal. Still reeling from what many perceive as a botched response to the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, reports indicate the former secretary of state is being investigated by Egypt’s attorney general. Hisham Barakat’s criminal complaint against Clinton alleges she conspired with the wife of former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi – and the Muslim Brotherhood – to encourage rebels in the nation.
According to a translator, Morsi’s wife, Naglaa Mahmoud, reportedly claims to have a “treasure trove of secrets from the White House,” indicating Clinton “fears my wrath.”
Mahmoud goes on to confirm she “will not speak about Huma Abedin,” a former aide with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Sources indicate Mahmoud works with Abedin’s mother, Saleha, as a leader of the Muslim Sisterhood.
As Morsi heads to trial, the actions of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will likely be central themes. As the lamest of all presidential ducks, Obama’s sullied reputation can’t suffer much more as a result of charges filed against him.
The added controversy, however, is the last thing a fledgling Clinton campaign needs.
Mahmoud seems convinced Clinton will be “looking for the support of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood” in her pursuit of the Oval Office.
“Hillary depends on us tremendously to help her succeed in the coming presidential elections,” Mahmoud reportedly confirmed, “just as we helped Barack Obama win twice.”
Clinton is obviously desperate to retain power despite the frequent missteps she made during her short tenure as secretary of state. Millions of outraged Americans will not let her scandalous behavior be forgotten in the years approaching 2016.
With the stage set for another big midterm win for Republicans, the continued derailment of the Democrat Party’s presidential frontrunner only makes the conservative cause that much more attractive to voters.

WHITE HOUSE: SEVEN MILLION OBAMACARE ENROLLMENTS 'WAS NEVER OUR TARGET'

More Lies?

Seeking to minimize fallout from the Obama administration missing its year-end Obamacare enrollment targets by 1.3 million people, White House adviser Phil Schiliro said on Tuesday that the oft-cited seven million Obamacare enrollment target "was never our target number."

"There's no magic to the seven million," said Schiliro. "It came from the Congressional Budget Office, and it had become an accepted number."
Still, the Obama administration cited the seven million figure in a September memo as a signup target, notes The Hill
The Obama administration now claims two million people have applied for Obamacare, a figure well below the 3.3 million it projected should have enrolled by now. However, even the administration's two million figure is inflated; half of the people who have applied for Obamacare in 17 states have yet to activate their plans by making their first payment, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Report: Only half of new ObamaCare enrollees in 17 states have paid first month of premiums

No way to know yet if the federal exchange is also seeing a 50 percent payment rate system-wide, but if it is, we’re looking at close to 500,000 people whose new coverage will begin tomorrow in some sort of limbo. Or maybe more, actually: At least one insurance company is seeing payment rates closer to 35 percent, and the Journal found one man who signed up in late November who still hasn’t been billed yet by his new insurer. That’s the fruit of chaos imposed on the industry by Obama and HHS in moving around deadlines haphazardly to protect themselves politically. They moved the sign-up deadline back nine days, to Christmas Eve, and then they “suggested” that the payment deadline be moved back to January 10th, all but forcing insurers to cover people retroactively. Expect a new “suggestion” for them to move the payment deadline back further into January, as some insurers have already done, if that 500,000 can’t get their acts together in time to pony up the 10th.
How chaotic is it right now? One insurance exec predicts that people will be bringing printouts from the exchange websites to the doctor in lieu of insurance cards because the industry simply can’t meet the logistical demands created by the White House to send everyone their card in time.
Normally, insurers require payment for coverage before the coverage begins. They count an enrollment as complete only when the first month’s premium has been received from a customer. As of Monday, however, only about half of enrollees billed for plans offered by more than 100 insurers in 17 states had paid their first month’s premium, said Mark Waterstraat, chief strategy officer at Benaissance, a third-party billing firm that works for those insurers…
After the federal government extended the deadline to sign up for coverage from Dec. 15 to Christmas Eve, most insurers in turn extended their deadlines for payment, some as late as Jan. 10 for coverage starting Jan. 1. Some, like Independence Blue Cross, a Philadelphia-area insurer, pushed the deadline as far back as Jan. 28. Humana Inc. said Monday that it would accept payments as late as Jan. 31.
Independence Blue Cross is pre-emptively sending insurance cards to consumers before they have paid, said Brian Lobley, a senior vice president. The insurer dispatched 20 workers over the weekend to create the plastic membership cards and ship them to presumptive enrollees. The plans won’t be “active” until the new customers actually pay Independence, but mailing the cards early will allow them to start using their plans right away once they have paid, Mr. Lobley said.
I’m guessing HHS will announce this weekend, while the media’s still in its holiday slumber, that they’re “suggesting” insurers follow Humana’s lead and extend their own payment deadlines from the 10th to the 31st. That’s the beauty of these White House “fixes”: There’s no limit to them, really, because insurers are in no position to resist even if what Obama wants doesn’t technically carry the force of law. HHS already threatened to exclude companies that don’t comply with its every ass-covering whim from the exchanges next year, a potentially terrible financial blow given how many millions more consumers will have been forced onto them by then. This is what a government takeover of health care looks like.

Funny Stuff!

YET ANOTHER ‘FAST AND FURIOUS’ GUN TURNS UP AT SCENE OF DEADLY SHOOTOUT – ATF ADMITS IT LIKELY WON’T BE THE LAST

Holder should be charged for these crimes. It was his Dept, and Obama is his Boss!
Investigators have traced yet another firearm, used by suspected cartel gunmen in a deadly Mexican resort shootout, back to the failed federal gun-walking operation known as “Fast and Furious.”
A U.S. official confirmed to CNN Tuesday that an “AK-47 style” firearm was recovered at the scene of a Dec. 18 gunfight in Puerto Penasco, a Mexican town just across the Arizona border. So far, it’s the only gun from the shootout that has been linked to the disastrous ATF operation.

At least five suspected cartel members, including possibly a high level Sinaloa cartel chief, were killed in the Puerto Penasco gunfight earlier this month, CNN reports, citing Mexican authorities.
“Witnesses reported hours of shooting and grenade explosions, with Mexican authorities using helicopters to attack fleeing suspected cartel gunmen on the ground,” the report adds.
Guns from “Fast and Furious” have been used in a number of murders and crimes, including the shooting death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Years later, the guns continue to pop up at crime scenes.
In the poorly thought out operation, agents allowed suspected gun smugglers to purchase about 2,000 firearms. With no plan in place to track the firearms, most of them were lose and are believed to have landed in the hands of Mexican drug cartel members in Mexico.
The ATF reportedly released the following statement: “ATF has accepted responsibility for the mistakes made in the Fast and Furious investigation and at the attorney general’s direction we have taken appropriate and decisive action to ensure that these errors will not be repeated. And we acknowledge that, regrettably, firearms related to the Fast and Furious investigation will likely continue to be recovered at future crime scenes.”

TREY GOWDY’S TAKEDOWN OF NY TIMES REPORT: ‘IT ONLY TOOK 15 MONTHS FOR THEM TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPELL BENGHAZI’

I love this Guy! He is not afraid to speak his mind! Sounds like someone with the NYT is sleeping with Hilary!

Trey Gowdy, the fiery Republican Congressman from South Carolina, slammed the New York Times’ controversial Benghazi report on Monday, which he claims is an inaccurate and politically motivated account of the terror attack that claimed the lives of four Americans.
“First of all, I want to congratulate The New York Times. It only took 15 months for them to figure out how to spell Benghazi,” Gowdy said in an interview on Fox News. “So, in another 15 months, maybe their reporting will actually catch up with the truth.”
Rep. Trey Gowdy Rips NYT Report: It Only Took 15 Months for Them to Figure Out How to Spell Benghazi

Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., questions a witness during the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s hearing on Benghazi on Capitol Hill in Washington, Wednesday, May 8, 2013. House Republicans insist the Obama administration is covering up information about the deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, last year, rejecting administration assurances to the contrary and stoking a controversy with implications for the 2016 presidential race. (AP Photo/Cliff Owen)
The New York Times report on Benghazi suggests there is no evidence linking al Qaeda to the 2012 terror attack on the U.S. compound in Libya. The report also revives the long-debunked claim that the attacks were sparked by an anti-Islam video, even though intelligence officials have asserted it was a methodically planned assault.
“Whether it was al Qaeda or a subsidiary or a holding company or a limited partnership, to quote Hillary Clinton, ‘What difference does it make?’ Who cares whether it was al Qaeda proper or a subsidiary? Four Americans are dead, and it wasn’t a spontaneous reaction to a video. It was planned,” Gowdy said.

Rangel: ACA is "Most Exciting Thing" That's Happened to America Since Republic Began

If this Dumbass feels this  good about it I hope he gets on Obamacare with no subsidies! It will never happen!

“Health care is the most exciting thing that’s happened for the United States of America since the republic began,” Representative Charles Rangel (D-NY)beamed on Thomas Roberts’ MSNBC show Tuesday morning.
I hope he’s not planning on using this as one of his campaign slogans if the congressman hopes to win reelection next year. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, not the Industrial Revolution, not the Greatest Generation's victories, but President Obamas health care law, according to Rangel, is America's brightest achievement.
While acknowledging the rollout has been anything but a success, he nonetheless has high hopes for the ACA’s future.
“If the health care plan proved to be as bad as the rollout, we’ve shot crap. But as far as I’m concerned, the 50 million people that hoped, dreamed and prayed that one day they could get insurance no matter what their status was, this is going to start to roll in and all of those people who have been afraid to stand with the president I think will be making a great moral mistake, but more importantly, a great political mistake as well for 2014.”
I guess Rangel didn’t get the memo like some of his fellow Democrats in Congress that distancing themselves from Obama and his health care legislation is becoming the politically advantageous thing to do.
Roberts also asked Rangel to forecast his reelection campaign.
“It’s going to be a rough one, but, you know, it’s like shooting crap. Either you win or you lose; you just can’t stay even with the first shot.”
Based on his comments, it looks like his campaign is going to get even rougher.
Rangel wondered at one point whether the Republican Party has “given up on being a national party?”
No, but it looks like you just gave up on reelection.

Pure Class: MSNBC Panel Mocks Romney Family Over Black Adopted Child

These People are the Worst Scum on the Networks! These Liberal Assbags Are Obama's mouthpiece! What does that tell us about Obama?

For the blissfully uninitiated, Melissa Harris-Perry is MSNBC's deep thinking host who wore tampons as earrings in support of late-term abortion (or something), and who declared that parents need to come to grips with the fact that their kids really "belong" to the broader community. In other words, she's been scraping the bottom of the barrel for some time. But is this a new low?

“Everybody loves a baby picture,” Harris-Perry said, “and this was one that really, a lot of people had emotions about this baby picture this year. This is the Romney family. And, of course, there on Governor Romney’s knee is his adopted grandson, who is an African-American, adopted African-American child, Kieran Romney.” As Harris-Perry made the introduction, panelist Pia Glenn sang “One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just isn’t the same,” a tune whose original lyrics read “one of these things doesn’t belong.” “And that little baby, front and center, would be the one,” she added...Comedian Dean Obeidallah chimed in by reducing the baby to a token. “I think this picture is great,” he said. “It really sums up the diversity of the Republican party, the RNC. At the convention, they find the one black person.” Whatever you think of the quality of the jokes, using a baby to make a political punchline is a tough sale, with a high bar for comedy and commentary.

The Right Scoop's Caleb Howe:

It’s funny because Romney is white and his grandson isn’t, which is obviouslyhilarious. Because as everyone knows, the races should notmix.

Twitchy has a round-up of reactions, some of which are understandably scalding:
Make a note that it's a progressive on MSNBC mocking a family for their unsegregated adoption.

My heart goes out to the interns who had to sift through that footage (though they're probably treated better at the WFB than they would be at lefty rags who claim to be strong supporters of "living wages"). MSNBC will surely clean up its act in 2014, right? Feel free to contemplate that question after you stop laughing.

Why Obamacare Will Only Get Less Popular

Lisa Myers has an excellent investigative reporting piece up at NBC Newsdocumenting how one small business is dealing with Obamacare. The quotes from the article are just brutal:
The 41 employees of Extreme Dodge in Jackson, Mich., are very familiar with trade-ins, but this year they’re learning about trade-offs as they come face to face with the new realities of health care. A few workers say they’re getting a great deal, but most have a severe case of sticker shock.
“I feel like I’ve been taken to the cleaners,” said Neal Campbell, a salesman.
...
“How is this helping the average American that’s working 40 to 50 hours per week?” said Terry Hardcastle, a salesperson. “How are we supposed to live?”
Cathy Smith, who’d hoped she’d qualify for a subsidy and made just a little too much money, had tears in her eyes. "You don't make that much money to begin with,” she said, “and the prescriptions are going to kill me."
...
"There are some people who do come out ahead, but I would say the overwhelming majority, they’re paying much higher rates and they have lower benefits.”
...
Among the hardest hit is Campbell, a salesman with a wife and three young children, all of whom are active in athletics. The premium payments currently deducted weekly from his paycheck will increase $77, to a total of $221 per week. “That’s a huge part of the budget,” he said. “We feel betrayed, lied to, and we're pissed off.”
Myers does report that, "A handful of the Extreme Dodge workers came out winners -- mostly low-wage earners who qualify for subsidies and therefore pay very little for insurance." But even those who think they come out ahead today should think again. If they happen to get a raise, or get married, the IRS could come back and demand all those subsidies back. Politico reports:
A key piece of the health care law gives Americans making less than 400 percent of the poverty line subsidies to buy insurance. But if buyers don’t alert the insurance exchanges to big life changes throughout the year — like a divorce, promotion or new job for them or a spouse— they could wind up with sticker shock at tax time.
...
All experts interviewed on the topic worried that most tax credit recipients do not have a clue about the new reporting responsibilities, noting that even policymakers are still trying to grasp how the process works.
In California alone, 38 percent of tax credit recipients are projected to have to pay back more than $850 — if no income changes are reported during the year, according to a September Health Affairs study.
Remember: President Obama delayed the employer mandate till 2015. So most Americans who have employer-sponsored health insurance really have not felt the Obamacare pain yet. That will change as more and more businesses make the same types of decisions Extreme Dodge did above. And when they do, Obamacare's approval ratings can only go down.

Shhh: Embattled Obamacare Official Quietly 'Retires'

Disgraced federal bureaucrats don't seem to resign these days. They certainly aren't fired -- and even when they are, they appeal and are reinstated. No, they "retire," and make off with a raft of taxpayer-funded benefits accrued over years of "public service." As Ms. Snyder prepares to step aside to spend more time with her family or whatever, her boss is singing her praises:

CMS administrator Marilyn Tavenner noted in an email that Snyder was set to leave CMS at the end of 2012 but stayed on at Tavenner’s request to help with “the challenges facing CMS in 2013.” “While the agency is losing a key member of its leadership team, we should celebrate Michelle’s dedication to a mission that provides vital health care services to tens of millions of our fellow Americans through the Medicare and Medicaid programs,” Tavenner said. Snyder is the second top CMS official to leave since the website’s rocky rollout. Tony Trenkle, who served as the agency’s chief information officer, retired in November.

A job well done, Michelle. Bravo. And what did that job entail? According to the New York Times, "her official biography says that Ms. Snyder was responsible for “standing up new programs and activities required by theAffordable Care Act." And who among us wouldn't "celebrate" her job performance? Aside from the millions who struggled to log on to the broken website she oversaw, and plugged sensitive data into a compromised website, that is. Mary Katharine Ham quips, "Botch the roll-out of the president’s legacy law so badly that you end up with three million fewer insured people than when we started, and you get to retire, announce it over a holiday weekend, and grab that juicy pension for 41 years of mediocre-to-disastrous public service." Yeah, pretty much. As Sarah noted over the weekend, the Obama administration has announced that 1.1 million Americans have signed up for Obamacare coverage through Healthcare.gov -- a figure that's well short of the government's 2013 enrollment goal (the percentage of those who have fully enrolled by paying January's premiums remains unknown, and is surely far lower). The Wall Street Journal:

The Obama administration said Sunday that 1.1 million people had signed up for health insurance through the federal online exchange, but a critic said those numbers showed there was no last minute rush to get coverage...Scott Gottlieb, a critic of the Affordable Care Act and a fellow with the American Enterprise Institute, a libertarian Washington think tank, said the numbers announced by the administration were “well behind” expectations. “They only announced 1.1 million. They were at 900,000 December 22nd,” Mr. Gottlieb said on “Fox News Sunday.” “We haven’t seen the rush we thought we would see at the end of the year.”

They're at 1.1 million "sign ups," compared to between 4 and 6 million people whose existing plans have been canceled due to Obamacare regulations...so far. Major December blitz or not, half of the enrollment period has now elapsed, with the total goal of 7 million nowhere in sight. Getting there will be an immensely heavy lift, too, even with Healthcare.gov's improved front end capabilities. Part of the issue is that many Americans are now browsing their options and choosing not to purchase Obamacare plans. Why? In many cases, the "new and improved" coverage features higher premiums, huge deductibles, and narrower networks. What a deal. The Washington Examiner's Phil Klein says that what the administration didn't announce is more relevant:

To start, the figure doesn't reveal how many people actually paid for health plans as of Dec. 24. Though payment is what typically makes enrollment official, up to this point, CMS has counted people as being "enrolled" if they merely went through the process of picking a health care plan. Additionally, CMS still hasn't provided a demographic breakdown of those who have signed up for insurance through the exchange, which is a key metric for measuring the success of Obamacare, because the exchanges need a critical mass of young and healthy individuals to offset the cost of covering older and sicker enrollees and those with pre-existing conditions.

I'll leave you with my liberal counterpart on Fox -- who, in fairness, has been clear-eyed observer of the roll-out debacle -- clinging to the hope that Democrats' fortunes will improve once the technical difficulties pass. For reasons Conn outlined yesterday, it's a pipe dream:

Egypt Does What Washington Won’t: Declares Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Group

Remember, Obama Backed these Terrorist!

EGYPT-POLITICS-UNREST-DEMO

On Wednesday, Egypt’s military-backed interim government declared the Muslim Brotherhood to be a terrorist group. This declaration criminalizes the Muslim Brotherhood’s activities, financing and membership, including the countries former president Mohamed Morsi.
The Associated Press reports:
The announcement is a dramatic escalation of the fight between the government and group, which has waged near-daily protests since the July 3 popularly backed military coup that toppled President Mohammed Morsi.
Hossam Eissa, the Minister of Higher Education, read out the Cabinet statement after long meeting, saying: “The Cabinet has declared the Muslim Brotherhood group and its organization as a terrorist organization.”
He said that the decision was in response to Tuesday’s deadly bombing targeting a police headquarters in a Nile Delta city which killed 16 people and wounded more than 100. The Brotherhood has denied being responsible for Mansoura attack and an al-Qaida inspired group has claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing on Wednesday.
“Egypt was horrified from north to south by the hideous crime committed by the Muslim Brotherhood group,” Eissa said. “This was in context of dangerous escalation to violence against Egypt and Egyptians (and) a clear declaration by the Muslim Brotherhood group that it is still knows nothing but violence.”
“It’s not possible for Egypt the state nor Egypt the people to submit to the Muslim Brotherhood terrorism,” he added.
According to the New York Times, “Analysts said the designation opened the door to the most severe crackdown on the movement in decades, requiring hundreds of thousands of Brotherhood members to abandon the group or face prison, and granting the military and the police new authority to violently suppress protests. The decision makes it a crime to promote the Brotherhood “by words” and could also outlaw hundreds of social and charity organizations run by Brotherhood members.”
Khalil al-Anani, a senior fellow at the Middle East Institute in Washington who studies the Brotherhood, called the designation “a turning point,” claiming that it could lead Egypt toward a civil conflict. “This is a big miscalculation from the government,” he said. “It is a massive social movement, whose supporters might retaliate or fight back.”
One Muslim Brotherhood member, Ahmed al-Arainy, who has already been arrested once following the ousting of Morsi said that the terrorist designation “makes no difference to us.”
“Our problem with them is on the ground and not related to their labels,” he said of Egypt’s current leaders. “They killed us in the street yesterday, and today they’re trying to legalize the crime they had already committed.”
While the Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem Al Beblawi would not confirm the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorists, following the explosion on, he did condemn the attack as an act of terrorism. However, Cabinet spokesman Sherif Shawki spoke out ahead of the official declaration of the Muslim Brotherhood as revealing its “ugly face as a terrorist organization shedding blood and messing with Egypt’s security,” according to Middle East News Agency.
The 85-year-old Islamist movement was banned by Egypt’s military rulers in 1954, but registered an NGO called the Muslim Brotherhood Association in March this year in response to a court case bought by opponents who contested its legal status.
It is amazing that Egypt is willing to do what Washington DC will not. They are willing to openly declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group. I would imagine that would be a problem for Washington considering that Barack Obama’s brother, Malik Obama, is directly tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and helps in their finances. He also received tax-exempt status from the former Internal Revenue Service hack Lois Lerner.
It’s not just that though; Obama has also been called out by the Egyptian media as being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and his support of the terrorist organization is well documented.
Furthermore, his Homeland Security advisor, Mohamed Elibiary is a Muslim Brotherhood member, who showed his support for the terrorist organization on his Twitter account back in October, only to cave to pressure and remove it just days later. Not only that, but Elibiary apparently has a voice when it comes to whether or not our government considers the Muslim Brotherhood a terror group, at least according to his October 1, 2013 tweet:
The question now arises as to who in the federal government, elected or merely employed, is willing to step up with Egypt and call out these savages for who they really are and remove them from the powers they hold in our government?

NBC figures out that employees aren't going to like what ObamaCare does in 2014

Hey Democrats, welcome to your 2014 nightmare
"You're going to be sorry you called it ObamaCare when people find out how great it is." - Every Democrat
Gotta love that quote.  I could run around and search for specific high-level Democrats who uttered some variation of it but, in the end, there's no need.  Pretty much every left-winger in Congress has made the claim at one time or another.  Now, 2014 is just about here, and they get to find out if they were right.
If they were, the mid-terms should be a cakewalk.  Everyone will think Dems are wonderful, and they'll breeze through November. If they're wrong?  Well, they're not. Their media allies have told us they're not, and there's no chance of that changing.
Right NBC News?
The 41 employees of Extreme Dodge in Jackson, Mich., are very familiar with trade-ins, but this year they’re learning about trade-offs as they come face to face with the new realities of health care. A few workers say they’re getting a great deal, but most have a severe case of sticker shock.
“I feel like I’ve been taken to the cleaners,” said Neal Campbell, a salesman.
The news was presented at the company’s annual benefits meeting earlier this month, when employees were told that the health insurance plan that the auto dealership had provided its workers was canceled because it doesn’t comply with the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare.
Uh-oh.  People are losing their current employer coverage only to find out that they're going to be buried under inflated premiums and deductibles? Shocking.
It seems that NBC News has discovered the unthinkable. Businesses - evil capitalist enterprises that they are - exist to make money. When the government starts tearing into their bottom line, owners like Wesley Lutz are forced to make decisions about the benefits they offer.
“As a business owner, we have to be viable first and then provide services,” he said. Lutz is not required to provide health insurance to workers, but has done so for 35 years.
The monster. According to NBC, instead of insurance Lutz will give employees $2400.00 each.  They can use it to shop at Healthcare.gov, or they can just keep it in the bank and use it offset their federal fines. This will work for some low income employees but, for the majority, it will mean massive cost increases.
Twenty-six of the dealership's workers had been covered this year under the old company plan. Twenty-one have now decided to go with the new group plan recommended by the company for next year, though they realize that they face sharply higher out-of-pocket costs next year.
Their deductibles will go from $1,125 this year to $3,000 next year, and maximum out-of-pocket costs jump from $2,250 to $6,350. And for families, those numbers double: to a $6,000 deductible and $12,700 out-of-pocket maximum.
The problem facing the Democrats is that - despite kingly diktats offering delays - this will become a much bigger story throughout the next year. Employers can already see the writing on the wall, and a vast number of people will soon see their benefit pacakges impacted just like the folks at Extreme Dodge. When that happens, the people who created this monstrosity will face a firestorm they can scarcely imagine.
“Let me suggest that, way over the horizon, about six months from now, a hundred million people get their insurance from Medicare or Medicaid. A hundred and seventy-one million get it from their employers. Watch the employers. Because if they start dumping people into Medicare and into Medicaid, and the doctors then say, ‘The burdens are too high and the reimbursement is too low. We’re not seeing Medicaid patients.’ Then, all hell is gonna break loose.”
The sad thing is that, the longer the law exists, the worse its impact will be and the harder it will be to undo. Hopefully, once they start feeling the pain, Dems who would previously have been on board will see the light and jump ship. Every single Democrat who still supports this mess should ask themselves the same question posed by one of the newly burdened Dodge employees:
“How is this helping the average American that’s working 40 to 50 hours per week?” said Terry Hardcastle, a salesperson. “How are we supposed to live?”
The answer is: It's not supposed to help the average American. It's supposed to place more weight on their backs as they subsidize others. Congratulations, you're learning about socialism.
As for how you're supposed to live, well,  you're supposed to live in the "fundamentally transformed" America that the Democrats have created for you.  You're welcome.

After Months of Promoting Obamacare, Obama Admin Quietly Announces a Net Loss of 3 Million Insurance Plans

When the Obama Administration has bad news to tell the American people, they often wait until Friday afternoon to reveal information that is likely to foster criticism. After months of pushing Obamacare and encouraging signups, the Obama Administration quietly revealed on Sunday morning the abysmal year-end enrollment rates.
Whereas once this administration hailed Obamacare as a significant achievement, they are now quietly revealing its failures on a Sunday when they hope nobody will notice.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Marilyn Tavenner, the administrator of the Centers forMedicare & Medicaid Services, released a brief statement saying,
“More than 1.1 million people enrolled in a qualified health plan via the Federally-facilitated Marketplace from October 1 to December 24, with more than 975,000 of those enrolling this month alone.”
Roughly another million have signed up through state exchanges, bringing the total of enrolled citizens to around 2 million- well short of the Obama Administration’s low-ball expectation of 3 million by the end of the year.
However, while Democrats are likely to try and sugarcoat the enrollment rate, Democrats should brace themselves for bad news as the revealed enrollment number hardly paints a full picture of Obamacare’s failures.
The Obama Administration has remained incredibly cagey on outlining the details as to what “enrolled” means. Hesitant to even reveal early enrollment numbers, the Obama Administration has often included people who have selected a plan in their enrollment figures; however, there is no information being released that reveals how many of these “enrolled” people have actually finalized the insurance-buying process by actually paying for the selected plans. With the enrollment numbers being continually manipulated, it’s impossible to tell how many of these 2 million people have actually purchased plans and how many have merely window-shopped.
Further, the Obama Administration has touted the success of Medicaid expansion and included these numbers in their bragging. While many more Americans are now on Medicaid thanks to Obamacare, that is not, necessarily, a good thing as these newly-insured Americans are receiving health insurance that is heavily subsidized by the federal government. With critics already wondering about the economic unsustainability of a healthcare plan that hinges on dramatic rate increases for young people to offset the costs of healthcare for the elderly or unhealthy, providing millions with insurance who pay little or nothing cannot be considered a sign of success.
Most of all, the quiet revelation of the puny enrollment numbers conspicuously neglects to address the elephant in the room; even if we were to accept that 2 million have enrolled in Obamacare, the number of people who have lost their insurance thanks to the disastrous healthcare overhaul is conservatively-estimated to be no less than 5 million.
With 5 million having lost their insurance thanks to Obamacare and only 2 million having enrolled, at best, the Obama Administration could only claim a net enrollment rate of -3 million. Roughly 3 million Americans are worse off now than before Obamacare.
With 2014 around the corner, the DNC is still pretending as if Obamacare will be a win for Democrats. At this rate, it is looking highly unlikely.
