Leading Democrat Just Dealt a Serious Blow to Obama’s Plan to Circumvent Congress on Iran

The White House has made no secret of its plan to circumvent the U.S. Senate on its agreement with Iran over nuclear weapons. In fact, theObama administration has suggested they’d head straight to the United Nations for validation of the agreement, despite objections from Senate Republicans.
On Monday, that plan may have been dealt a fatal blow. A leading Democrat has said that, indeed, the deal must be approved by the Senate.
Politico reports on the statement issued by Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the man in line to be the new Minority Leader in the Senate:
“This is a very serious issue that deserves careful consideration, and I expect to have a classified briefing in the near future. I strongly believe Congress should have the right to disapprove any agreement and I support the Corker bill which would allow that to occur.”
Schumer had quietly signed on to a bill allowing congressional review of the Iran deal two weeks ago, but made little fanfare of his co-sponsorship. In a brief statement on Friday, he said only that he’d review the agreement. Now that the outlines of an agreement are known, Schumer’s emphatic statement that Congress has an important role becomes more significant, signaling to fellow Democrats that it’s safe to jump on board the review bill.
CNN reported Monday afternoon that with Schumer’s support for Senate approval, Senate bill S.615 (also called the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015) could reach a veto-proof majority and block the President’s plans:
“A confrontation between the White House and Congress is becoming even more of a possibility as Republicans say they are gathering up Democratic support to give Congress a final say on this nuclear deal with Iran. The White House is saying they will veto that measure but Republicans are becoming even more confident, Jake, that they may have the votes to override that veto.”
Wednesday is the deadline for senators to propose amendments to the”Corker Bill,” which would allow Congress to stop the implementation of whatever deal the White House makes.
The Democratic Senator is essentially vindicating the message in the lettersent by Senator Tom Cotton and 46 other senators to Iran, signaling that Congress needs to be included in any formal deal that the White House makes.

Ed Schultz questions Schumer’s ‘LOYALTY to Barack Obama’, guest calls Senator ‘UN-AMERICAN’

I agree, Ed is a Scumbag

I’m really surprised with how little Ed Schultz gets criticized for the crazy stupid stuff he says, but I guess with such low ratings, no one sees them.
Except the SCOOP!!!!
Watch below:
Yesterday the idiot called ALL Republicans un-American for disagreeing with Obama on the nuke deal, and now he extends the criticism to Senator Chuck Schumer. Amazingly, the moron demands that Schumer show “loyalty to the President,” by not disagreeing with him, and then his guest follows it up by saying he’s un-American!!
It’d be laughable if it wasn’t so disgusting.
