Obama, Senate Democrats Trying to Keep FCC Democrat Controlled Under Trump Administration

When you see this you have to ask yourself why would they do this? Its not for the good of all Americans?

Outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and President Obama are taking one more stab at retaining control of the Internet before they leave Washington.

Harry Reid and President Obama are circulating a petition to remove the hold on FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel so that she can be reconfirmed before Congress recesses next week.

This is so insane that the Senate might force a Democratic FCC onto President Trump. It's almost surreal.

If Obama and the Senate Democrats successfully reconfirm Rosenworcel, the FCC will remain in Democratic control during President-elect Trump’s administration. Her reconfirmation would block Trump’s ability to nominate both Jamison and Eisenach.

Barack Obama’s White House has made aggressive pushes to reclassify the Internet as a public utility. If Rosenworcel is reconfirmed, their dream of the Internet as a government-controlled public utility could very well become a reality.
