Chuck Todd: Roy Moore Doesn’t Believe In Constitution Because He Thinks Rights Come From God [VIDEO]

Another Clueless Liberal Dipshit on the Left 

MSNBC’s Chuck Todd demonstrated his utter ignorance about the founding of the United States during “Meet the Press” on Wednesday.
Todd alleged that Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore “doesn’t believe in the Constitution” because he has a “fundamentalist” view of where human rights come from.
“Our governments don’t come from government,” Moore said in a clip Todd played. “They don’t come from the Bill of Rights. They come from Almighty God.”
Of course, that is exactly how the founding fathers viewed the concept of natural rights, as evidenced by what they wrote in the Declaration of Independence.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness,” the Declaration of Independence states. “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
Thus, the founders believed, like Moore, that rights are not derived from the government, but from God.
