News broke early Tuesday morning that a man had driven a silver Ford Fiesta into pedestrian traffic, injuring several people. He was arrested immediately following the crash.
President Trump responded with a tweet, calling for toughness and strength in dealing with those who would make such attacks.
But what CNN did not mention is the fact that two hours before President Trump called the incident “terrorism” — and nearly four hours before the network’s tweet calling him out — the Associated Press had reported that the incident was considered by local law enforcement and investigators to be an act of terrorism.
